You can order the waffle fries well done to make them more crispy. The lemonade is definitely NOT Country Time, as it's made daily with freshly-squeezed lemons,

I did this too in the early 2000s, the juicer was more or less a vacuum cleaner motor with a juicer on top that you juiced through a strainer. Absolutely wrecked your hands, but the Lemonade at CFA is a hand made quality product of real lemons some poor sap had to sanitize, slice and juice manually.
Many people have been doing this taste test and I must say that it has only made me appreciate Emmy's thoroughness and I daresay 'expertise'. Some people just don't know how to do it but Emmy does it so well.

I live in the DMV and the Popeyes here are PACKED. My friend and I went to a Popeyes and there was a line throughout the store out the door & we were both like Hell no so we drove 30 min to another Popeyes and luckily we got there before there was a crowd the only thing was they were sold out of fries. :( We ended up getting 3 spicy chicken sandwiches and they were soooooo bomb, I paired my sandwich with their sweet heat sauce and I just about died it was so good. I remember sitting down eating the sandwiches and everyone in line just watching our reactions while eating 😂😂 It’s a must try !!

Oh, I finally was able to get the Popeyes chicken sandwich and Oh yeah, it lives up to the hype! The toasted brioche bun is killer by itself, let alone the delicious meaty chicken breast inside!
Many years ago when Popeyes first appeared in Maryland (1980's?) it was an awesome place to stop for lunch or dinner with our kids. Spicy chicken, red beans and rice, dirty rice, and fresh biscuits. Absolutely delicious. Sadly, only Burger King went downhill faster than Popeyes. Oh well.
My son worked at CfA in HS. The values they instill go beyond simply "my pleasure". He gets compliments often for being courteous outside of work. One time, the tables at a Popeyes we were eating at were a mess. He asked for a rag and went about cleaning the tables. And he was wearing his CfA uniform at the time. It was funny to watch the customers baffled looks. For that one day, Popeyes had good service.
From what I've seen on "make your own Chick fil'A sandwich" videos in the past, they brine the chicken breast in what amounts to pickle juice (vinegar and dill mostly) to prepare it prior to frying, so you're right on the money with the guess about it being brined first.
I will say im biased by having the location thats considered one of the best being within 5 mins of my house but it is easily my favorite. That being said i have heard that the "bad" locations can be BAD, but the GOOD locations are INCREDIBLE. like I wouldnt even call it fast food (the one i have anyways) cause its too high quality...

As someone who worked at Chick-fil-A the lemonade is the bomb! It's also fresh squeezed lemon juice from fresh lemons. It gives it the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness and 100% my go to when I eat there

My Popeyes was out the other night. Went back yesterday afternoon and waited 45 minutes for the sandwich. Went again today and waited an hour and a half. Worth it both times.
Still haven’t had it. Two different Popeyes joints... both out of the sandwich. It’s just a sandwich though so I’m not tripping.

I did this too in the early 2000s, the juicer was more or less a vacuum cleaner motor with a juicer on top that you juiced through a strainer. Absolutely wrecked your hands, but the Lemonade at CFA is a hand made quality product of real lemons some poor sap had to sanitize, slice and juice manually.

CFA is the winner bc it is consistently good! I know what I’m getting each time I go there. You go to Popeyes and you don’t know what you’re gonna get. It could be good, mediocre or flat out terrible; kinda like with their customer service.

I used to work for Chick fil a! Our lemonade is a really great seller! We take lemons and fresh squeeze them every day. I’ve had to squeeze 6 boxes of lemons 😂

Popeyes customer service wasn’t good before the sandwiches came out 😂 Popeyes customer service in my experience has always been like below Jack in the Box and McDonald’s but like, you go for the Cajun seasoning and the sides, not the people 🤷🏾♀️ People actually do return to Chick-fil-a’s for the customer service though - that’s why it’s such a big part of the training there

Yep, I'd take mediocre service and better food over great service and mediocre food any day. In addition, it's a fast food joint with a rapid turn over, so I don't really expect more than a quick smile and nod.

I love Popeye’s chicken sandwich. I remember when they had it about 15-20 years ago and loved it then too. Bummed when they discontinued it. Ecstatic when they brought it back.

I live in the DMV and the Popeyes here are PACKED. My friend and I went to a Popeyes and there was a line throughout the store out the door & we were both like Hell no so we drove 30 min to another Popeyes and luckily we got there before there was a crowd the only thing was they were sold out of fries. :( We ended up getting 3 spicy chicken sandwiches and they were soooooo bomb, I paired my sandwich with their sweet heat sauce and I just about died it was so good. I remember sitting down eating the sandwiches and everyone in line just watching our reactions while eating 😂😂

Many years ago when Popeyes first appeared in Maryland (1980's?) it was an awesome place to stop for lunch or dinner with our kids. Spicy chicken, red beans and rice, dirty rice, and fresh biscuits. Absolutely delicious. Sadly, only Burger King went downhill faster than Popeyes. Oh well.

My son worked at CfA in HS. The values they instill go beyond simply "my pleasure". He gets compliments often for being courteous outside of work. One time, the tables at a Popeyes we were eating at were a mess. He asked for a rag and went about cleaning the tables. And he was wearing his CfA uniform at the time. It was funny to watch the customers baffled looks. For that one day, Popeyes had good service.
I used to think that liking Popeye’s over ChikFilet was crazy ... but Popeye’s definitely won me over. To me, they are the better chicken sammich

From what I've seen on "make your own Chick fil'A sandwich" videos in the past, they brine the chicken breast in what amounts to pickle juice (vinegar and dill mostly) to prepare it prior to frying, so you're right on the money with the guess about it being brined first.

I will say im biased by having the location thats considered one of the best being within 5 mins of my house but it is easily my favorite. That being said i have heard that the "bad" locations can be BAD, but the GOOD locations are INCREDIBLE. like I wouldnt even call it fast food (the one i have anyways) cause its too high quality...

I live in NY, the prices also vary from city to city. It’s terribly different.
Some cities have a lot of taxes added to the receipt. Here we have 7% state/city tax, 4% restaurant tax, and 2.5% occupancy tax on all restaurant and fast-food receipts. All other businesses only have the state/city tax on their receipts.
We don't have these where I live and you're the only person I trust to give an accurate description 😂❤️
As someone who worked at Chick-fil-A the lemonade is the bomb! It's also fresh squeezed lemon juice from fresh lemons. It gives it the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness and 100% my go to when I eat there
