"What is the average cost of running these trains for 30km?" A more efficient method is to average the cost/km for the three trains and then multiply by 30km which gives you the same answer.
Hi Darren, thanks for this helpful video. Can you share with me if the we can only use the mouse to operate the calculator? By any chance is there touch screen? 😂 Do you remember the monitor size at the centre you took yours? Thank you 😊
Hey Dandelion, no worries. Yes you have to use the mouse, and the computers are not touch screen. The monitor size was pretty normal, maybe around a macbook pro size.
Hey Darren, thanks heaps for these videos. Was the claculator in the real UCAT exam really slow, like it is for the practice tests on the official website? Addiotionally, would you prefer doing mental maths instead of using the calculator?
Hi, no I don’t think the calculator was slow in any practice exams or the actual exam. Do you use the number pad? And yes, mental maths is preferred when you are confident you won’t make a mistake
Hey Stacy! Glad you like the video. If the discount is 20%, then the price of the ticket will be 80%, which is why I multiplied by 0.8. I.e. question was asking how much the family pays not how much they save. Hope that helps!
Great video! Thanks, Darren! Quick question, in the test, are you able to go back to check the question in the previous subtest or only within each subtest?

Yeah that’s a good way of doing it.

Hi, is Medify aligned with the UCAT ANZ? or is it made technically for the british counterpart
Hey Evan! Yes it is aligned with ANZ. Plus they’ve recently made an interview course with me that is specifically for ANZ students
Hi, very useful video. Just a question Darren,
for the water park question, why did you multiply by 0.8 instead of 0.2?

Thank you Molly! You can only go back within the subtest, can’t look at previous subtests once you’ve completed them
@@DarrenTan21 That helps a lot! Thank you :)
Great Video. Please do a practise exam. My problem with Quantitative is my speed. I get questions right, but I'm far to slow.
Sure! Will probably do subtest ones rather than a full mock
@@DarrenTan21 Thanks Man.
Great advice :)
Thanks! Nice channel too
Hi, how did the Medify questions for qr, and ar compare to your actual ucat test day experience. Easier or harder?
Hey Iffy! From memory, medify’s qr was harder (my exam one was really easy though) and ar was similar. Hope that helps!
hi can you say how medify questions are similar to actual ucat in terms of Vr, QR, DM and AR?
Hi Nahgim, people receive different exams, but for mine exam VR was a bit harder, QR easier, DM similar and AR similar
Btw was the vr questions longer in Medify😭
Not sure what you mean
@@DarrenTan21 He means were the passages in verbal reasoning longer in medify or in the actual exam
The mocks should be the same as the actual exam
