As someone who was very unsatisfied with Episode 9 when it came out, I have tremendous respect for writers like Adam who see opportunities where so many others see failures. I love when creatives get the chance to work with less beloved stories and create transformative works.
Stuff like this novel and the Pak run of the Darth Vader comic are so far doing a good job of connecting the Sequel trilogy elements with the Original trilogy era. Much like what happened with the prequels were being released, it is fascinating seeing how material besides the movies are alinging things together.
It Is so cool you get interviews with the authors every so often . You deserved it for being such a great starwara youtuber and giving us the juicy lore
I loved this book. The Tython/Exegol sequence with Luke was chef's kiss. Lando choosing to save this family because of his own personal tragedy was a stroke of genius.
I remember reading the last few chapters. I got teary because the flashbacks in TROS where playing in my head.
Reading the book now and absolutely love it! The audiobook is awesome (I am reading/listening at the same time).
This book is amazing
Really want to crack open this book, and hope it’s a rare case as the first Thrawn novel which ended up getting a comic adaptation that would be AMAZING !

Shadows of the sith works perfectly as a book. Saying it should have been a movie is disrespectful to the book medium.

@@Hereth_Edits my view on it is that it's such a good story that it should be available to the wider audience that doesn't go out of their way to read the books or comics.
@@DanV900 The problem is it's a story that should've been in the films. I liked Shadow of the Sith but I shouldn't have had to read it since the sequel trilogy wasn't planned out.
I’ve read many sci-fi and fantasy novels (including all of Tolkien and HP), but never a SW (or Star Trek for that matter)book. However, after watching Alex’s interview with Adam Christopher, I took the plunge. Bought it from Apple Books.
For star wars books I always do the audio book form. Idk, it's almost like watching a movie for me, but just listening lol

Please make this into a movie or TV series with Marc Hamil. You can still pull it off with a bit if hair dye, like the flashbacks in last jedi. Just don't wait too long.
I would read more Star Wars books written by Mr. Christopher.

I have a question. What species are Bosvarga and Cerensco supposed to be? I don't think it says.
They’re an unnamed species seen in the background of the scene where Ochi kills the parents. Also in the TROS Visual Dictionary, they’re kind of replacements for Ommo Twilto and Dered Arno (May have misspelled their names).
