    I liked Dathan choosing to name himself after his mentor, it’s a nice callback to his daughter choosing the last name of one of her mentors.

    Learning more about the First Order's growing influence in the corporate sector and how Palpatine's influence continues to become stronger as a malevolent ghost via extremist charisma, not only with the Exegol Cultists but in simple homes is terrifying. Really does bring back those memories of me learning more about the galaxy after I first watched The Force Awakens. I have to get this book!

      @@thomas8431 She did. They just fumbled it in episode 9. In 7 and the beginning of 8, she’s looking for a place to belong and hoping that someone like Han or Luke will give her a purpose. She longs to reunite with her parents for the same reason. Then we find out that she’s a nobody. Nobody is going to tell her that she’s special or give her a place to belong, and she finally admits that.
      So episode 9 should have been about accepting her own worth and self actualizing. Instead, we find out that she actually is super important because of Palpatine Genes, her parents actually loved her, and she’s upset because her grandpa she never met was a bad dude. That’s just messy.

The story itself was incredibly fun, but all the little connections to other material made it feel even more special. Thanks for breaking it down. • @Compucles
      @Compucles 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      "They" and "Their" are plural pronouns, so I hate when they're used in singular form. It just sounds wrong! If the gender is unknown or yet to be revealed, the character is gender fluid or nonbinary, or something else like that; just use "he/she" [or even "(s)he"] and "his/her." It's still pretty awkward but ultimately sounds better. Even "it" would be an improvement despite how dehumanizing it is.

I guarantee you, you use it all the time yourself without noticing. Is it a "Temple"?!
    Or, (as Ahsoka was telling Din Djarin); "A great school..."?!
    One in which; "...Grogu would be among it's first students."?!
    I mean, it's subtle, I suppose, but not really all that trivial. The difference between a; "Temple," and a; "School."
    It's also not all that far-fetched to imagine that; :Great School," she was referring to, what Luke's ant droids were being shown constructing in the Book of Boba Fett, was meant to eventually become a Jedi Academy.
    Once again, I'm asking, purely for the sake of clarification;
