Hi Lorelei, I don't usually comment. Probably one of your longest viewers. You seem quite sad in this video, perhaps because you are dealing with a lot of change in your life right now with Lennon and perhaps other things too. I know that it is difficult to find acceptance within us towards a loss that is going to come sooner or later. I've been in your shoes and even after many years it doesn't get easier. Still know this, what you are doing for Lennon is the absolute best anyone could offer her. Many don't get to experience that life as you already know. Don't make the mistake of thinking what you could have done differently, or overthink details, when the time has to come it will come, that is the cycle of life. Lastly, take care of yourself. I can empathize. One of my buns lived twelve years and it's been almost a decade since he passed. The one thing I missed was getting on the floor so he would approach me for pets. I will have to make do with being a bun-cle to my sister's rabbits.

Hi Loreley, i can deeply sympathize with your feelings. Be hugged. My Bunny, He is 8.5 years with me, hast been diagnosed with a fast growing tumor, surgery would be too much for him, i give him Painkillers every day and make every day of his life as beautiful as possible, Love, cuddles, treats. I know he will not last long but this is life for all of us, whether Bunny or human. We will meet again one day in a better place, i am sure of it. And after this beautiful, innocent creature's passing, i will give my love and care to a new little Bunny or bunnies...that's all we can do.
My bun is 7.5yrs and we just dxd her with bad arthritis and I thought that was bad. Bless you for caring for your bun with a tumor. Agree it's heartwrenching but surgery would be too much on a little bun. Hugs.

So sad 😢 much love to you both and your buns. Mine is gonna be 3 and I dread ever loosing her. I’ve rescued animals birds and dogs etc and all have gone to heaven when it was their time. And it’s never easy. Us better humans give them the best life possible and it’s all we can do. They give us love and happiness and we do the same for them. 😘 ❤

That is why I will get a new little bun immeadiately after the present one's passing. Some people cannot understand this but I can provide a good life for such adorable creatures and this is all I can do.
Hi Lorelei, been watching since 2019 and learned so much from you that I adopted two rabbits in Feb 2020 from the RSPCA here in UK, thank you so much! It's been a rollercoaster ride of joy and pain. I'm so grateful for the time I had with them. Thanks to your videos both rabbits lived happy and healthy lives but unfortunately the female, who had never been sick before, passed rather unexpectedly after a short illness last year at only age 4. I'm left with one joyful boy rabbit that brings me so much happiness but I still grieve for my little angel whose passing was gut-wrenching. I never used to think about losing them but sadly its something that I think about more often since.
You have no idea how much of an inspiration you been I am also a subscriber who’s been watching you and Lennon grow together!! Watching you free roam Lennon and teach us all these rabbit cares has been a great experience it’s been to a point that I contacted my rescue centre and explained to them why they should stop trying to advertise that people need to buy a hutch to rehome bunnies I even outlined the reasons such as it causes lonliness and weight gain and causes depression and isolation even though they told me each rabbit preference as if they know what a bunny wants the point is you haven’t just changed Lennon life you changed all bunnies life and I can tell you are going through a lot especially with how your uploads have been I just hope everything is okay and you and Lennon are doing well I know it’s not been easy but you got this girl just remember everyday is a waking day to smile

My rabbit didnt die to old age, it was probably internal bleeding, cause we had no idea what happened to her. She died at midnight, and my dad found her. When I saw her limp body, my heart literally broke. I was fine but I cried for ages and I could feel my heart hurt. It genuinely felt like I got stabbed in my heart. It was terrible, so best of wishes with Lennon's aging!!! She's such an amazing rabbit, and what you've taught us all is amazing. Keep moving, little one(Lennon)!! ❤❤❤🐇

Supreme Selective is the brand I've always used. I'm using the 4+ variety as it has the most fibre and is designed to support older rabbits. There's also a House Rabbit variety, which I've read a number of people prefer to the standard adult version because of the alfa alfa in latter.

My rabbit lucifer is not even 6 years old yet and I already have anxiety over his death.. I can't even imagine a life without him..
My neighbours cat ate my bunny when I was out on a walk with him. I tried to shoo him away and picked my bunny up and the cat leapt up and bit him right in the head.
I see a few comments about young rabbits dying suddenly of mysterious causes... please keep your rabbits vaccinated. Of course, I can't say for sure that it was RHDV2, but the stories just reminded me.
I’ve got the science select adult pellets. I thought the alfalfa was a bit sus so I just slowly mix it in with our regular Oxbow feed 😊

The selective naturals meadow loops are great. Our little Ehvie goes crazy for them. They are a treat, so, you know, not too often. (Ps. She's a Netherlands dwarf bunny. In January she'll be 4 human years old. )
My buns go crazy for the selective pelllets over oxbow but the first ingredient is Alfalfa so I’m not sure if they’re good for them since they’re adults

But I do wanted to say you are the strongest woman i ever met on online and I'm shure if the time comes you will be strong and you might cry but cry is ok it just show how much you care for your bunny if you do cry. So you don't have to worry about Lennon. You take great care of her and I'm shure she will live a bit longer because of that. ❤

Hey thank you for everything… I’ve learned so much from ur videos … I’m on search of a 3rd rabbit right now … my first bunny passed away at the age of 5 … a couple months ago before her birthday … she passed unexpectedly… left me with ptsd… but I’m working on it now and I’m ready to foster another bun … so my 2nd aka she’s a lion head can have a friend again.. thank u soooo much once again for showing me rabbits can be pets an More as Family 🤍 they’re my babies …

Thanks Lorelei! I had fun at BunnyFest in the SF Bay Area twice. The first time I went it was hosted at a small independent pet supply store. Really cool to be able to talk to rabbit people and learn some things, even though there weren't fancy gift bags.
The second time I went, it was hosted in an Elks Lodge or something with lots of room and some cool booths! Adoptions, too! I dunno if I would have taken my own rabbit along (didn't have one at the time), but it was great to see other people's bunnies!
Lennies, if you get a chance to go to a BunFest of whatever size (or to help start one), go for it!

We had our 1st bunny in 2020 (she returned home from shopping with a random rabbit one day), I have learned so much from your channel about rabbit care and wellbeing. We now have 2 free roam bonded rabbits. I will be following your future videos on your journey with Lennon. I loved the Bunny Fest vlog, I had tears of joy, what a wonderful day. I'm getting excited, soon I'll be going to my 1st UK National Rabbit Festival. This year, it's held near where I live! Thank you Lorelei for all you do. ❤

Eddie only just turned 3 in May, just got a clean bill of health at the vet last week, and I'm already terrified of losing him someday because I'm so emotionally dependent on him. (He's next to me right now as I type this, one handed so I can keep massaging his ears). So I can only imagine how you must be feeling, Lorelei. Just know that you and Lennon are dear to a lot of hearts, and Eddie's life is for sure better thanks to your channel. It was discovering you guys that taught me about ex-pens, proper litterboxes, bunny proofing, and enrichment. And he actually looks a lot like Lennon. So of course he's GORGEOUS! 😉

Good morning Lorelei. I’ve been following you since I got our baby Belle. Thank you for helping us with her from day 1. Im a first time bunny parent as well. But I, as well as others know and feel the pain you’re going through. Even though I don’t personally know you and wish I did cause your an amazing person with so much love towards fur babies, wish I was there to hug you. But be strong and know you’re not alone. It is a difficult journey and even though it is the circle of life, it’s never easy. I’ve been there for all my babies when it was their time til the end. Lennon knows how much you love her and she adores you infinitely. Spend as much as you can with her. Love you both 💕. Thank you for everything you have done and for helping to raise bunny awareness. Hopefully Tennessee has a bunny festival someday.

Dear Lorelei, i have gone through this stage with my Bunny Coco 😢...she was the love of my life and she passed away in December last year 💔
The thing is that i spent so much quality time with her in her last days and gave her so many kisses 😘 and made her feel the love ❤❤

Literally just came back from vet for our 7.5year old bun with bad arthritis. Her first sign of aging and it was deveststing cause it manifested as loss of ability to hop into litter box and peeing and pooping all over. She's usually a princess. Aging in an innocent bunny is heartbreaking. #beginningthejourneywithyou

I was there too, but I must have missed you. I have a dwarf Dutch bunny. He is my second bunny. He is about 9 yrs. Old and I have had him for 8. I live in an assisted living facility and he lives with me! He gets a lot of attention as they have few animals here. I have followed you ever since I have had him. I even have a sign on my door in Eng. And Span. That says
, " Don't let the bunny out." ,Panda is losing his hearing now. But everyone else here is too. Haha

Hi Lorelei, I have been watching you for quite a while now, I'm so glad i came across your channel a few years ago when i had gotten my two rabbits, you taught me so much about what habitat they should be living in, and what they should eat, and all of that stuff that i did not know before watching your channel! A thing i would like to find out though is, what type of toys do rabbits actually like playing with? I have a hard time finding toys that my rabbits will actually chew and throw around.
