Thank you for sharing this. When I was growing up in the 1980s, I recall seeing so many similarities between my home and the Catholic homes of close friends and relatives. We stood out among the homes of our non-Catholic friends.
The atmosphere in our homes always reflected something truly sublime and peaceful. White, Black, Hispanic, or Asian, our Catholic faith grounded us and always directed us toward our divine Savior, Jesus Christ. We had statues of the Blessed Mother, Crucifixes on our walls, holy water fonts by the entrance doors, candles, small decorated Altars in our parent's master bedroom, Catholic prayer books, religious images, sacramentals in every room, statues of Angels & Saints.
And of course, a sculpture of the Blessed Virgin decorated with flowers in our garden! This was usually a key indicator, that you were entering the home of Catholics!🙏🏽✝️🙏🏽

Hi Heather, very nice video. I’ve been catholic my whole life but recently I’ve been incorporating more and more Sacred Art into my home and an Altar where my husband and I pray the rosary every night. Thank you for the idea of the Miraculous Medal inside the pillows. Blessings from the Bay Area.
I’m trying to create a prayer corner, but we have absolutely no space. I have put my sacramentals and holy cards on top of a bookshelf. I have a sleeping Joseph rosary holder on my nightstand. I have so many medals. Love this idea.
My parents had the font at the door to our apartment and I think the exact same bottle! My Mom had a pin with the profile of Mary that was pinned on the back of the lapel on my Catholic School uniform blazer. I've collected holy cards since I was a kid and still have them. I keep a couple on my desk. My Aunt was a nun, so always had a lot of Catholic things in the house. I still have the Mary statue that my parents kept on our kitchen table with a votive (I'm 72, so it's pretty old).

Hi Heather, thank you for the wonderful ideas to incorporate our beautiful Faith into our homes. I have a crucifix over my front door inside. In my kitchen over another door I have the risen Lord . I have a laminated picture of the Divine Mercy on my front door. This idea came from one of my Parrish priests when the pandemic began he encouraged everyone to put one on their front door to have the virus Passover our homes just like the blood of the lamb on the doors with the plagues of Egypt (Exodus). I also have a water font near my front door. I also love to have little decorative signs with scripture throughout my home. A little ledge in my entryway has a beautiful wooden carved statue of the holy family made in Jerusalem and a statue of Jesus I have had since my communion (I’m 60 now) and a little tiny statue of Mother Mary that I have had since I was a little girl.

We have a wall mounted cupboard (with window doors) that my wife and I have painted inside (Mother Mary Blue!). We have our rosaries, small candles, icons (of Christ, Mary and our respective saints) that we printed off on photo paper (and pasted onto the back of the cupboard). On one of the two shelves inside, we have a beautiful triptych of Christ in the centre, flanked by the Archangels Gabriel and Michael. We also have small LED lights we can switch on when the cupboard is closed that give out a warm glow, and which give glimpses of what is inside. We open the doors when we pray the rosary.

Is it the pump that is broken on the dishwasher and it doesn’t drain?
Or when you say the dishwasher doesn’t work do you mean it doesn’t work well?
If it functions but doesn’t do a good job of cleaning, there are lots of things you can try to help it to work better.
There’s a dishwasher video by “Technology Connections” that might help you get your dishwasher working better.
But if it’s a broken pump that’s not a diy job. You could always just use it as a giant drying rack lol.
