These videos are fantastic. It's often really hard to find ones that just showcase how the abilities look and work in combat, so I can get a sense of how it will feel to play with them before investing in the game. Makes it so much easier to plan a character. You even thought to show them without enemies at first, then more than once in combat and provided timestamps, so useful! Thank you ❤

I don't know why this glitch isn't talked about more, but for anyone that doesn't know, with the tempest specialization, there's a really handy bug I guess you can call it. But if you use flask of lightning then immediately use another flask (I prefer fire) you'll use both flasks. Normally you're only allowed one at a time. The timing can be tricky if you're not used to it but once you understand how fast you gotta do it you'll hit it Everytime. It's really helpful being able to freeze time AND spam your abilities together.
It looks like flask of frost freezes enemies that start to attack you in melee, but doesn't require them to hit you. I didn't know that. It seems more viable now. I thought this was a poor rogue tanking ability, but it looks like it stuns everyone around you.
Funny how focus ability of tempest is Way deadlier than assassins...(in back in a day i played rogue-assasin and i shocked how Much Damage Sera did when the focus was activated).
out of the rogue specialization, i think an archer focused build is best paired with the one Varric has, and for dagger focus i like tempest. Assassin is my least favorite, but I've used it a few times. it's a bit like the reaver, it gives but also takes. i also found the assassin tree to be a little lacking, the best one to use it is Cole, he's perfect at it.
TEMPEST is definitely great soecially early on in the game where tougher enemies like DRAGons can be wasted with an upgraded Flask of Fire and theowing blades. But ASSASINS MARK FOR DEATH HIDDEN BLADES and DEATHBLOW COMBO is Consistently LETHAL. With a MASTER COOLDOWN AMULET both Builds are EXTREMELY lethal.
Love your channel. There's a really old game called Ootogi 1 or 2 by From Software I'd LOVE to see you cover as it's very obscure but has great weapon and spell selections. Well great for the time. And maybe you can do Jade Empire after that??
It's too bad that you can't have all three new abilities cuz when I got the Assassin ability it wouldn't let me get the other two it said no longer available.
What a great video!!! I´m new to dragon age so I have a question. I have a assasin on my party, and i dunno what he does, but all of my party now has some sort of effect on them, the status show like a blue skull, I dont really like the effect, but i dont know how to cancel it : c
Unfortunately the game is not very good for dual wielding rogues... I did enjoy it in DA2 so much more. I just can't like this "Focus" and barrier features... Guard in warrior is a cool feature tho.

Indeed, with Flask of Frost you can create your own flanking angles for more damage !
Lightning flask effect is pretty OP if you see it in real time, it's crazy
i love using flask of lightning then immediately switching to another character just to see the enemy's healtbar go down smoothly
Same, I really like how Sera went "Full auto in the building" mode when she uses that skill, lol.
I like playing as an artificer myself as you can deal disgusting damage with the right buildset

Mark of Death is basically Zed's ultimate except you can trigger the damage early

Blue skull icon, right? I believe that's the effect of "Toxic Cloud" skill with "Lost in the Mist" upgrade. You can find it in Sabotage skill path.
