He's a good referee and is in the mls
Referees in the USA need to step up their performances. Any other place in the world, the rash and reckless challenges where players have no opportunity to get a ball and end up taking their opponents out, would result in a Yellow Card or worse. I just watched and DA game where a GK got kicked in the face and no card was shown. On the U17 US vs Holland there were so many instances of reckless fouls and UC that went unpunished. You can't expect the level of US Soccer to improve if the refereeing is not up to par.
FYI, the United States has more referees selected for this World Cup than any other country. Meanwhile, countries like England have none.
On the pro level, we have excellent referees, but youth soccer referees need to step up their performance - youth soccer referee
