Takedowns on champions make Statikk Shiv lightning strike up to 186 targets, that's probably fine. Problem is, Electroshocks from different takedowns stack - so in ARAM you just have penta kills happening left and right. Oh and by the way, allies can also proc that Shiv for you (they somehow take the kills from you though). Edit: this is of course on the live servers right now.
unfortunately this looks intended, one single proc never strikes more than once, but the chain kills makes so that up to 4 can hit a single person, and seeing how the base damage is pretty high those situations makes sense. The Wukong one is dumb tho
Minus the wukong part, it actually is. Since the lightning has no cooldown, a takedown with the lightning will create another lightning, leading to a domino effect. It's silly, but definitely not a bug.

If you have any issues with your PC after installing or updating the -rootkit- anticheat, it wouldn't be related to it at all - you probably did something wrong. Remember, the -rootkit- anticheat team is a different one and they get paid a lot!

186 is 192-6. 192 is 3*(2^6) maybe they use 192 as a derived but arbitrary value for something, then the lightning is supposed to bounce 6 times and somehow they arrived at 186 bounces. maybe the lighting is supposed to acquire up to 192 targets, then choose the "correct" targets and apply the effect to them, but instead of stopping after the 6th target, it keeps repeating the same step over and over, 186 times.

My guess is that it's coded as a timed effect owned by Wukong to remove the clone. Which is perfectly normal. What's unusual is that there's apparently no mechanism to remove the clone without "killing" it and processing takedown triggers. Reminds me of the "everything is coded as minions" meme.

Well, its linear. 1st person gets zero, second 1, third 2, fourth 3, fifth 4, and only seige minions/superminions get the full 5. So you are doing a total of 1080 premitigation magic damage to the last enemy. If they are low, this item is a cleanup monster, if they are high health and a tank... its chunky I guess, if you happen to kill the rest of their team?
Simple solution, add a CD to the takedown proc, as the pentas were mainly coming from first proc killing someone, which would proc it again which would kill someone else, etc

They nerfed Tristana so long ago when Explosive shot no longer proc'd retroactively (one minion blowing up 3 blowing up everything) just to reinvent the issue with Shiv. Poetic.
Wukong is out here committing Seppaku to fire lightning bolts at the enemy team, and "its not spaghetti code"? Wukong's clone counting as a kill for him has been manually patched out of so many "on takedown" items, yet the base is still coded as it being a champion kill for him.
This actually pisses me off because this isn't a bug at All. The item is working as intended, you get a take down, the lighting procks. There is no error of coding there, no missing coma, nothing. They genuinely forgot that the reason you deal damage is to get takedowns. What a joke
I think they might've disabled this specifically for ARAM, the bug still works in practice mode but it doesn't seem to be going off ARAM wise Would be nice if someone could check if it's still replicable
If y’all remember, wukong’s W had a glitch in the arena where his clone counted as a takedown and it resets his entire basic abilities if you get a specific augment.
And yet, it's still a horrendous item outside of ARAM where getting takedowns is a necessity of the game mode. But genuinely, does it matter it "BoUnCeS Up tO 186 tiMeS!?!?!" when it's never hitting more than maybe 20 units normally? It definitely deserved a CD on the champ takedown portion so it just doesn't explode in a way no other item does, but once they do that, back to just a useless item.
