Your Model 90 is a beautiful example! The Model 90 and it’s slightly less expensive 1906 variant were produced until 1932, when the Model 62 came out. This became the Model 62A in 1940 and that series continued until 1952. All of them comprised some of the finest repeating .22 rifles ever produced.
I grew up shooting one of these. The model 1890s in .22 short and long had a 1 in 19 rifling twist. The long rifle version brought out c1919 had a 1 in 16 twist. Putting an ‘06 carrier in a rifle chambered for shorts or longs gives miserable accuracy with long rifles. The model 1890 was originally brought out chambered in 22 WRF, an inside lubricated round, which can be used as a sub-load for the 22 Mag, is a more powerful round than the long rifle.
I remember shooting those at the amusement park when I was a kid good seeing the gun again in action..thanks for showing us
What a beautiful old Winchester.

I have one of these with "5 spot" carved in the stock. It was a real gallery gun from the early 1900s.
Beautiful Rifle 👍
Model 1890! My father gave me his when I was kid! Still have it...22 short.
I would take a piece of 2×12 and drill holes to fit the steel target. I used 1/2in plywood, wasn't heavy enough!😮
What Fun ! Thanks for video!
Fun rifles!!
I’ve Got 2 Of These Rifles Nibs They Are Among My Favorite Rifles 😇😀😇
