I have one almost like yours except for the barrel. Mine has a round barrel and was made in 1911. Found it in a barn while in the service. Was working on a horse ranch when not on duty. That was back in 1971. Still have it and it functions and shoots well.

Where are you finding the wrf cartridge? I have one passed down to me but I cannot find the ammo for it.

CCI is the only company I've found that still makes .22 WRF.

It doesn't shoot too high, you're shooting at targets too close. Try 200 yards.
