I don't think his precognition failed him more like he saw what was going to happen to him but chose to go through it anyway and sacrificed himself in order to ensure his other teammates survived he may have been an assassin Spider-Man but he was still his original Self in the fact that he was willing to give up his life in order to save his friends and the Multiverse thus proven he was still a hero at heart despite his willingness to use lethal Force against his enemies!

They should have given assassin spider man more existance in the marvel universe than he got. He could have gotten his own game, movie,or part in a tv show. Or even his own tv show. Or they could just add in the suit to spider man 2 if they haven't already, and add the ability to actually shoot the bullets, like if spider man was using a gun. He shouldn't only have to use the regular webs, he could also fight back, with ammo. But I think the only way we would get that is if someone sends that idea straight to someone of a high enough position over at marvel,or on their social medias tell them about it, asking if it's okay to make this possible,or just add this in, at all.
