Great job, mate! I have the Kadjar with the same engine, I got a faulty plug 1 year ago, and long start in cold weather (no engine light came on). Replaced it back then, and now I'm getting again a long start. Should have had all of them replaced then. Just like you did here. So take notice people. If you already did 60-70k miles (100k km) or so, just have all of them replaced at once. Cheers and thanks for the clear video.
Spot on this video. Nice instructions. Very clear. I was just having a check to see where the glow plug access was as mine are due on my xtrail with 60k. Had the circuit a code for a while. Just replaced the battery on it yesterday and while I was checking code history I noticed glow plug error. So that's the next job. Good to know it's nice and simple.
In response to this. I changed my plugs yesterday. Aside from been a little squeeze to get to the plugs having to wiggle wires out of the way. It was a doddle. How nissan can get away with quoting 250 quid is beyond me. Bought 4 ngk plugs from gsfcarparts costing 75 quid. Paid a fiver for a 10mm deep socket. Used some gt85 penetrating spray. Engine was warm too from a small trip in the morning. Got myself braced for a fight with them and To my surprise they came off easy. Within 15 mins I had changed the plugs and started her up. Had a cold start this morning and it fired up within a second of me pressing the start button.
