This ground-up build located in Paradise Valley, Arizona is a unique juxtaposition of our signature Organic Desert Living™ aesthetic and our clients' lifelong antique collection. As you take in the home, you’ll see an abundance of vintage pieces that have been passed down through their family for generations, from an 1800s tapestry in the dining lounge to art thoughtfully placed throughout the home. Having their collection incorporated into daily life was very important from the earliest design concepts. This home boasts approximately 3,500 square feet and split Primary quarters for multigenerational living. Neutrality in hardscape allows the grandeur of each heirloom piece to continue on in it's new setting without feeling dated or dark. Our #PVVistaBuild bridges how minimal Organic Desert Living™ is and how maximal antiques and vintage pieces can be!

This has to be by far one of my favourites of all of your projects! My style is very much contemporary and old-world antiques and it is hard to find other inspiration from other designers who do it while making it feel like a home rather than purely a gallery.

I know the airy/all white or dramatic black/white modern home has been the trend, but I have always had a love for balance with old and new and an appropriate amount of color. That is what feels timeless to me. The ability to bring in elements with history while sharing space with newer pieces that tell the time of loved trends. This is definitely getting saved to my Home list. Rachel truly nailed this one! ✨

I love how the dining table is not in the middle of the room. I’m currently struggling with my square diningroom. You’ve just helped me see that I actually don’t need to have a round or square table & put it slap in the middle for it to look good. I’m inspired.

Little plant tip for bathrooms without windows: get two similar looking shade-tolerant plants of the same species in identical pots. Put one in the dark bathroom and the other in a spot with ideal conditions and rotate them every two weeks.

Yes, I’d be interested also in Tadelakt installer recommendations in AZ? No grout ever. Yeah!!!! This would be a fabulous alternative to skinning the shower with Dacron or slabs😂. Please advise. Great job on this build. Another stunning outcome.

Love the gold hardware on the cabinets paired with all the gold framed artwork. All that dark, old world artwork really stands out against the light backdrop, nice mix of old and new.
