Your old penthouse was interesting...but this townhouse completely blew that out of the water. Extremely tasteful from every angle. A dream home for sure.
Really a beautiful home, Ryan. And you have absolutely exquisite taste. Homes like your home are inspiring! However, it is important for EVERYONE who doesn't live in NYC or have the money for such places to know that, with paint and a lot of careful editing, almost any home can convey a greater sense of beauty and peace. I live in a much smaller place in Arizona - a world away from Brooklyn. The economy is totally different here, and the cookie-cutter brown-stucco architecture itself here doesn't even compare to the impressive charm of Brooklyn, but the interior of ANYONE'S home can be a place of peace, beauty, and respite. We should all look to your home for inspiration and say, "Well, I can't do this thing but I CAN do that thing" and "Why don't I make some more room by getting rid of the stuff that I don't need or doesn't work well for me?" Great job!
Brooklyn isn't as charming as you think. I lived in both places. You are way better off living in Arizona. Especially if you could live in North Scottsdale. Not in the summer time. Lol. Its so interesting they always show NYC when the weather is nice. The weather is terrible, most of the year. Gray and gloomy. Born and raised in Brooklyn. I think I know I little something about the place. Absolutely no parking. Good luck with the subway and busses. Especially where that house is. NYC is a just a status symbol for the rich. By looking at all the videos this guy does. He makes NYC look so attractive. But that's is his business. Got to give to him. He saw an great opportunity in NYC. I think this dude is from Texas. A great marketer. Him and the others like him are making a huge killing, selling the dream. Very happy for all their success. It's still a great place to visit. Not to live for me. This house is probably worth over 10 million and still no parking space. Also connected to other houses. Go figure. Now live in Laguna Beach. The best place to live for me.
@@raymondsmith1945 Hi Raymond. I trust that all you say is true. I'm from Chicagoland (the term people in the Chicago area use) originally. We moved out here when I was a kid. Then I moved back to a very nice suburb (not a ritzy one, but pleasant) as an adult for a few years. I know that finding parking in the city proper was a huge problem, but the old brick and/or stone two-flats and individual homes on streets lined with mature trees were charming. I worked in North Scottsdale (LOL, everyone in North Scottsdale always makes sure to say "NORTH Scottsdale"). It's nice enough but it doesn't have what I would call a patina, charm, or class (very subjective terms, I know). So much of it is new and brown... and, for me, without charm. But that's true of hundreds of square miles of homes in the Phoenix area that have been built in the last 40 years. Mind you, I'm not whining. I've lived in those developments and, God knows, there are worse places to live. Currently, I live in a nice older area that actually has grass, trees, and quiet streets with historic and mid-century non-cookie-cutter homes. I love my current area. Best of all worlds. However, generally, homes built in the last 40 years here a cheaply built brown cubes, little better than oversized stucco'd appliance boxes attached to a garage, which is usually the homes most prominent feature. I just think that we could have done a much better job with creating variety, picturesque streets, and a sense of personal ownership and creativity. Most neighborhoods here seem undistinguishable from each other and, though not individually horrible, somehow collectively create the feeling of a huge brown nightmare.
@@timward3116There is definitely a different in the North area of Scottsdale. Lol. I guess most homes was built to deal with those tough summers. Also to blend with the landscape. I live in Az. for 9 years. The summers was getting longer and longer for me. I had to leave. I paid huge price to move to Laguna Beach but it was well worth it. Az. and NYC are great places to visit. Not to live for me. I just rotate visiting Az., NYC and South Florida. Also Vegas. Tried to live in Florida to save on taxes as well. Hated it as well. Got lucky moving before all those bad hurricanes. Also the people are weird in Florida. Just my opinion. SoCal is my home for life. The best year round weather in the country. Good luck to you Sir. Happy holidays to you and your family.
@@raymondsmith1945 Happy holidays to you, as well, Raymond. Believe it or not, I've been to California three times in my life (twice to Stockton for work, once to Knott's Berry Farm for a wedding). Call me crazy, but I thought Stockton was sort of neat... except for the people there, who were nuts at the time. Although the quasi-official story is that the homes here are brown to blend in, my theory is that they're brown so they don't show the dirt and won't have to be painted (or even washed) as often. Think about it: Have you ever heard a realtor use the expression "beautiful dirt-colored stucco"? Nine years was a long time for you, but I have you beat. I know what you mean about the summers getting longer (God, I hate them). I am really only here because my memories, history, network and friends are here... and now I am too lazy to move. Happy Holidays again!

@ryanserhant your house is remarkable. I’m so happy for you and your family. This gave me so many ideas. Thank you for opening your home up to the world.
This is the best "showing" Ryan has done! Two serious question: 1. How to you clean and maintain this huge house? 2. Who does your laundry and organizes them to color match? How many people do you hire to do it.
I can imagine the amount of sweat, tears and screaming not to mention the patience that went into the renovation of that project. My heart goes out to you Ryan. One could certainly see that it was a labor of love. It looks absolutely stunning. If ever you were to sell I want to be notified for sure because that property is turn key ready.🥰 BTW my favorite room would be the floor where your office is tucked away. The seating and TV area is exceptional

Absolutely stunning, kudos to you for creating what can only be described as a 'dream house'. I watch a lot of film noir from the '40s much of it shot on the streets of New York & buildings like yours are always part of the backdrop, so I'm familiar with the interiors & can truly appreciate the extraordinary job you did. May you & your family enjoy it in good health, creating many happy memories for years to come.
This is the most beautifully renovated town house I’ve ever seen, I’ve watched hundreds of hours of NYC real estate videos and town houses always felt old and dingy no matter how modern the the designers attempt to make them look but this one is phenomenal
Awesome Home! The 4th floor chill spot would be "THE" spot in the house. It's the brown color scheme that makes it ultra relaxing. Beautiful furniture and details. I've watched your shows since you started and I've learned a lot about the details of a home from the building materials to the staging of the interior! Great job and congratulations sir! Cheers!
I’m a nobody on here but I had to comment, your home is absolutely beautiful. I’m loving everything from start to finish. We’re from Brooklyn but now live in Huntsville, Ala. Nothing here will ever compare to what you have achieved in your renovation project! Congrats!
Let me myself clear, my comment was addressing the fact that I am not a designer, and that the imagination of a designer to create something beautiful does not go that deep for me. I have a lovely home, always have, even when we lived in apartments, I tried to make them look beautiful. When it comes to designers who have been trained to take a blank canvas and make a dream home for someone is what many of us aspire to become. The second point I would like to make is, “I am somebody in Christ”, and that’s all that matters!
@@earlaweese I’m not sure who you are, but with that attitude, you really need to go and check yourself, you’ll never get anywhere with that mindset. I was born to encourage and I will forever continue to do so. Bless day to you!

15 years living in West Village 7th/Charles. This may be the nicest and most tasteful townhouse I have ever seen in NYC/BK. Congratulations Ryan and Emilia. Wow!
note: lots of great details, love the safe close banisters that blend in, loce that you separateed a space for making your smoothies and preworkout and doing morning emails, i think thats smart to not lump it with the kitchen and i lastyl love the idea of a 'guest office' or wahtever, like a place for gusts to go and be productive, a lot of people miss that, love it, great house, great space, super pandemic proof ... i could imagine still wanting to work out at a gym even if i had my own gym, but other than that, i think its just a great house, really spacious, can really stand thrugh time, bc in ten years your kid might be like 'give me my own floor', or you might want to work on novels upstairs, or idk, i just think it strikes me as a house that has a lot of space to grow with a faimily, as you guys take new steps, i can imagine thsi house being able to handle that really well.
Hope you add a water feature in your “backyard” - would be so relaxing to listen to in the early morning or end of day with a glass of wine. Stunning home!
Thank you for this incredible tour of your townhouse. The white kitchen with the multitude of windows was a great design. I liked the idea of the baby gate being the same style as the railing-that was a nice attention to a detail that I haven't seen in many other places that have those gates. The best area for me was the basement, with the white bricks and the archways-it was really stunning, reminiscent of ancient architecture. And you made it into a workout area-I thought that was really cool.
Congratulations to the three of you. You kids have worked so hard to build your amazing life together. This level of success is not simply handed to you. You're always hustling..... seven days a week. Bravo! Well done, well deserved. Cheers!

Congrats on attaining that elulsive skill of pushing the boundaries, where exquisite taste, common sense, and attention to detail come together effortlessly - you have a HOME (albeit a darn fancy one!) '
and not a mausoleum of "look how much $$$$ I can spend". Just lovely !
No way could one pick a favorite room…each room is beautiful with its own personality…you did a super job with each detail. Well done!
It takes an incredible mind to even conceive and build this dream home. Congratulations, Ryan, for a job well done! 🥰
Thank you!
Awesome!!!!!’
Uh ... hevdidn't build it. He had a huge team of talented, creative people who built it. Congratulate them they gave this braggart everything his tiny mind desired.
@ryanserhant your house is remarkable. I’m so happy for you and your family. This gave me so many ideas. Thank you for opening your home up to the world.
Woke up today and decided to watch this video again just to see that basement gym.... truly a piece of art
This is the best "showing" Ryan has done! Two serious question: 1. How to you clean and maintain this huge house? 2. Who does your laundry and organizes them to color match? How many people do you hire to do it.
Yeah i want to know as well
They have staff, I'm sure.
*I really doubt people were screaming and crying.*
I know this video is 3 years old but this is the most beautiful home I have ever seen. I want an exact replica of this one day! May God bless you with even more success Mr.Serhant
All the rooms are my favorite because they give a continuity of the house...Beautiful!
Quite frankly one of the most stellar metropolitan townhouse renovations I’ve ever seen; kudos! To the nines top to bottom. Great job and great interior design!
This tour was so grand and stunning and made me smile all throughout!! AMAZING Sir!!!🤍🤍🤍🤍😎
This man's energy is unbelievably infectious. How does he not have friends?
When your wife gets mad at you she can say “go sleep on the fourth floor”..😂😂
😂here there's no sleeping on the couch, there's only "you sleep in whichever bed available"'
Ha lol thats funny
In the dark and stormy room😄😄😄
It's Like "You'll be sleeping on the couch (the fourth floor one, i.e.) tonight.
Of all the things, my mouth dropped open when Ryan pulled the tie racks out with every tie arranged carefully by color. It must have taken him years to come up with just the right color-gradient order and system 😂 total respect for that, and obviously the townhouse is absolutely amazing.
I'm curious if it was him or his wife lmao obviously someone likes to organise the kitchen is also all labeled
Probably hired a professional.
This is New York living at its finest. Comfortable and airy with lots of class. Truly lovely.
and they dont use half of it hahaha
@@Deliahszepinzky yeah, a little bit cringe
@@DeliahszepinzkyLmao you remind me of my co-workers when I invited them to my new house… “why have a 4 bedroom house when you only use 2, what a waste of space and money”💀
@@Spidr-Man not the same thing at all…more bedrooms are always great, great to welcome people or for future projects more space is better but It always baffled me when rich people spent so much on a kitchen when it’s obvious they will never cook a single meal in that kitchen…And sometimes there is two or three kitchen well yes I found it ridiculous🤣😆😆😆

This is so incredibly beautiful. I am an Interior Design student and I have watched this probably ten times trying to observe every detail!
I love how each space, floor and room has it's own character but it all flows togeether so seamlessly. It's sophisticated but totally live-able and approachable. My fave may be the gym. Those arches are just 😍.
Third floor...Awesome! Of course we want to see the bathrooms! Lol Your humor is like no other..."and the kids will know not to bother me". I was cracking up!
Congratulations on the gorgeous home you & your wife gave birth to! Thanks for sharing it with us, along with allowing us to see some of the splendid results & benefits of putting PSP in action.
Could you have been more condescending and d-bagish during this tour?! 😂 Who turns a historic NY townhouse into the Milk Bar from Clockwork Orange? Painting over the original brick? Enjoy deleting my comment. Omg awful taste.
This is just breathtaking! I literally crawled under my sheets after seeing this home. I wish I could live in a home of my dreams.
I absolutely love this home. The detailing, the different tones, ideas, characteristics of these rooms are amazing! Loved the energy you brought out sharing this wonderful home. I'm beyond thankful to get to explore this home throughout your perspective.
I’ve got to tell you I’m in the design business and construction management this is one of the best townhomes I have ever set eyes on, classy, perfectly laid out…Now it’s time for you to enjoy it as well as your family thank you for showing us your beautiful home take care Jan Michaels….😉👍🍺
Watching this definitely has me evaluating my time and what I’m doing with it. Beautiful beautiful home man.
*You can either choose to be rich or choose to be poor. It’s all a matter of choice. No, choose to be rich... don’t just do things to be rich because that’s what poor people do: poor people are always trying to be rich and working to be rich and being desperate. Just simply be rich and then you’ll have everything you want and need.*
I loved everything about it, but what was the icing on the cake for me was when you showed the roof and I saw my beautiful iconic Clock building @24:55
Growing up in the area in the 70’s 80’s the Williamsburg Clock was the view from my late Mother’s kitchen window on 3rd Ave..
I was born and raised in Downtown Brooklyn..
I know that area very well ❤
Beautiful Townhouse, I know you’re going to be very happy there…
This is the most beautiful and stylish house I have ever seen on TH-cam. Wow!
this home is perfection. wow . even out of all the homes ive seen you tour and show this is my favorite 100% as a mom as well lol its just practical and warm and elegant and modern just amazing!
Pinch me! The perfect balance of yin yang .. Ryan, you make living in the city look so inviting. Your man cave was a sigh of relief..and the outdoor patio surrounded by trees with a wall of windows, perfect symmetry ♡
And BOOM, the gym..wow♡
Ryan, I've watched you since day one. I'm super proud of you. You and Lawyer Lady did an amazing job. You rock!
Finally a normal human level excitement when touring a house. Lol. Since Ryan isn’t selling this, it is a lot more casual :P loved it!
You read my thoughts lol
Congrats Ryan, this is a stunning home
You can see the love and energy that went into creating this home.
I’m living for these subtle brags
Nothing subtle about them. Brag brag brag.
Taking on a project like this is a major undertaking and I'm glad to get a look at the final result.
@@LVQ-so5th we're glad you're glad
I come back to watch this video because it is so aesthetically pleasing. The details are impecable.
Ryan ! You remember when you use to share a shower with ten other people ?!!!! You worked hard, you worked smart ! And you made it ! 😃👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
What??! That’s very motivating

OMG ... even here in Holland the message reached us that you've finished your house ... and I am completely Wow ... it is amazing and the apogee what contemporary NY interior design has to offer. Huge inspiration for my own dutch townhouse!!!
You did well 👏💪Congratulations ! you worked so hard. Enjoy your new home with your beautiful family 😍
Cheers!
I’ve been watching you for years. I ❤️ your style and cleverness yet keeping it elegantly understated.
Many blessings for you and your family.
Awesome tour. That roof deck adds so much value to the house. That's crazy that you were able to add that in!
It really is!
This house screams perfection and house of my dreams ✨😂 wow I loved EVERY room every detail it was all perfect and designed to the T!
I’m a nobody on here but I had to comment, your home is absolutely beautiful. I’m loving everything from start to finish. We’re from Brooklyn but now live in Huntsville, Ala. Nothing here will ever compare to what you have achieved in your renovation project! Congrats!
*You are a nobody. You are no one. No one cares.*
You ARE somebody if you lived in a tent! Your opinion as a human being is worthy!
@@thetruthhasconsequences58 Thank you for your comment. The statement that I previously made was misunderstood. I was referring to fact that I was not able to create anything that was as beautiful as what we saw created by Ryan. He did a magnificent job! Again thanks!
Ryan! I just saw this for the very first time since the show, and it is fantastic! I am so happy for you and your family. What a gorgeous home!
My absolute favorite video of all! The fact that the result of how your brain calculates everything in it’s surroundings is your house is a stroke of genius. I haven’t seen less than 5 homes in my experience of watching luxury homes that were efficiently built with great attention and appreciation for the beauty, the aesthetic. It’s incredible!! It’s so refreshing that you are sharing your mad genius with the world. Thank you!
Absolutely stunning! Sympathetic to the age of the building but contemporary style and quality details. Can def see he has taken in a lot of knowledge from his industry and brought it all together to make a beautiful space!
WHAT A HOUSE!!! The asthetics, molding, furnishings, the views are just breathtaking. This was done so well!!!
It's definitely my favorite house in NYC that I have seen
The kitchen and primary bathroom are my favorite!!! Love the light and all the windows. Time to hustle and go get my dream.
This is what excellence is! Outstanding! You all did an amazing job!!🙂❤️. What more could anyone ask for?! I absolutely love every detail. As a Designer/Decorator, I pay very close attention to detail. I can honestly say that I’m You nailed it!!!! 👍
Thank you so much!
37 and you just got your dream house, reminder to not to rush things in life keep working!
not to rush?! that is young!!!
My favorite part is each of the details that could pay off my student loans or my mortgage that have never and will never be used. Those are sweet.
Beautiful house Ryan. I wast just expecting a swimming pool at the end of the garden or inside gim
Me too, I'm sure it will happen in the near future 👍
Me too, was looking fjor the Pool big time or Jacuzzi?!
Out of all your videos, I watch this one over and over! I love every concept and the quality that went into building your home.
Painstakingly thought out and It's obvious you're proud of the result. Awesome, awesome home.
Thank you so much!
Easily the best Brooklyn townhouse I’ve ever seen! This guy knows exactly what he is doing!
Congratulations to the three of you. You kids have worked so hard to build your amazing life together. This level of success is not simply handed to you. You're always hustling..... seven days a week. Bravo! Well done, well deserved.
Cheers!
Have never seen Ryan care so much about a house tour lol. You can definitely tell his enthusiasm is on another level for this one. No real estate mumbo jumbo
I am so HAPPY for you and proud of you, because I know you and your team & family worked super hard for it!!! I hope you keep on thriving in your business, but you'll now find more time to spend some zen times with your loved ones
This house is absolutely incredible!
