As someone who’s also in her 40s, I think we all went through the beige phase and never again. I love color now more than ever because life is just too short to live in beige rooms. The host has a beautiful home and you can see she loves it, I wish her many more happy memories there.
YES! That beige phase, and the all white walls..OMG, hated it so much. Also, everything looked like it was purchased at 'target' and homes were filled (literally) with plants, plants dirty plants everywhere, thought it was awful

High end custom to thrifted finds makes her house comfortable but not preciously pretentious. Me love this crib long time!!!

I love her dressing room closet! It is HUMONGEOUS. OMG. I love how she decorated the living room and diningroom. I love the oil painting of their home that her friend gave her. I love faux florals. (That is what I do.) I love her needle point rug. Very smart to duct tape the rug for sizing. I love her husband's baby shoes. Too cute. Her blue and white collection is beautiful. Blue is such a calming color. Her kitchen garden is beautiful. I love her bricked island. I love the flooring. It looks like the "outside" is "inside". I had never seen a "French mount soap". That is very unique. Her large long ottoman is beautiful. (I love how she says everything "had a great price".) I loved her Princess Diana party. Her mother is beautiful. All the photos are too cute!!! I also love her patio. Diane Elizabeth has soooo many beautiful things and she is a wonderful decorater. She mentioned going through a "beige" phase, and I did that. A teen I’m seeing on Homeworthy, however, that I would love to see go away - apologizing for Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, Target, etc. These stores are where a good portion of the population shop and they should never feel self conscious about it.

A teen I’m seeing on Homeworthy, however, that I would love to see go away - apologizing for Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, Target, etc. These stores are where a good portion of the population shop and they should never feel self conscious about it.
