When studio McGee sticks to their original DNA and style that made us all a fan from the beginning and not chase trends, it’s so beautiful. I don’t like it when the brand gets too busy trying to chase the latest fad because what’s beautiful of studio McGee is that it’s timeless, clean, and elegant.
I can see the owner of the home loves your design. I can seee from the ottoman, island stools and many other details are from the McGee home. I wish I can have a mountain or ski lodge like this!!!
I live close to Tahoe, with a vaulted ceiling with huge beams, over a fire place. I always wanted to paint it dark. Now I definitely think it would look beautiful. I’m very inspired.

I like this video; first the design is beautiful right up my alley in terms of look and feel. But also because I purchase a little fifty's cottage that required a lot of TLC. I'm finally at the point of picking style choices like furnishings and color. Because the cottage is nestled along a small lake but also surrounded by lots of trees, I've decided to incorporate varying shades of green through out the house in different ways like drapery, furnishings and paint. In fact, my kitchen cabinets are green as well. I've only just started and wasn't sure if that's the direction I should take but watching this video gave me the confidence to give it a shot.
There is nothing short of Fabulous throughout, Shea 🙌!! Great teamwork. Love the green added, slant to range hood, complimenting the overall mantle fireplace wall, large black trimmed windows, connecting the gorgeous view, inviting the outside in, and ofcourse, your entire decor choices! Complete Perfection 💚🖤🤎🤍

Gotta to say as Tahoe is one of the most stunning exquisite lakes cradled deep in the Sierras with all their majesty, this is my first Studio Mcgee disappointment. There is nothing within the home that brings the true Sierra vibe. I understand it's a design line for the masses and needs to reach across many design tastes but dangit it's Lake Tahoe! The Sierras, gold rush country, timber line, old California. Alas
Agreed. I bought my first home after I started working with an FA, Graham David Fullerton. He guided me through growing my savings significantly. It wasn’t easy, but it really paid off.
Even if you’re not making a lot right now, starting small and consistently growing your portfolio can open up so many possibilities. The earlier you start, the better.
Diversifying is key. It’s all about making informed decisions and not putting all your eggs in one basket. I absolutely support the concept of working with a fiduciary.
Love this home and the colors. I wish Shea had gone into more detail about the dark bathroom. As in what treatment on the walls and the color used. It's very pretty.

I’m not sure you’ve ever designed a home whose interior matched the surroundings as much as this one. What a great look and feeling to this home.
The breakfast nook is my favorite. I love how there is a small cosy space, juxtaposed with the large necessary space.
