Hey, thank you so much for this video! I have my old (like 5-6 yo) notebook and it was overheating like hell, so I decided for many times to clean it, but I didn't have confidence. Your video gives me a very good guide and now I'm happy about my cleaned notebook.
    Thank you, men...

Thank you so much for posting this video. I have just changed the thermal compound on my Probook 450 with your help. I could not have found my way to the processor without it. I don't know why HP have to make it so difficult. THANK YOU again.

Thank you for this, I tried to open this thing up a few times, giving up when getting to some of the screws not budging. Decided to watch the rest of it today, When it got to around 16min, I don't have the confidence to get that deep anymore, this thing will melt at one point.

Hi. I am owner of HP ProBook 470G1. You have those little things (I don’t know how to name them) that will release battery if you push them. You need to release the battery and remove it and then if you press those release things little bit harder the back cover will pop out and you’ll just remove it by your hands. It doesn’t require any screwdriver which is good for easier RAM, SSD and CMOS battery replacement.
If you look closely at 5:26 you can see him pushing those battery release things and then he removes cover by his hands

Hi. I am about to attempt to do just this. Can I upgrade my i5 CPU to an i7 whilst it is in pieces? I thought the CPU couldn't be upgraded. I assume the GPU cannot be upgraded though. Subbed and liked!!

Same thing for me, it has a pattern blink and tried pressing and holding the power button to discharge the caps (with battery removed) still nothing. Tried everything. Never had a newly serviced laptop not turn on before

@@tech4ro I have the same problem. It is a non stop blink. It happens with the battery and also without the battery when I plug in the dc power cable. I reopened and reclosed it to see if I had forgotten to connect a cable, but I still have the same problem. Any suggestions?

Mine overheats like crazy (idk why it was like this when I bought it) so yeah I need to fix that and it will be good laptop again.

if its not under the main cover then its inside.
i don`t think you can connect a eGPU.
HP got a white list with wifi cards and i think you wont detect the GPU.
tell me how it turn out please.
