Literally would do anything for an ml body with a better headstock like yours or the hamer from hell reverse hockey stick headstock, with 24 frets and a trem for under a 1000
I am LOVING the new DEANS. I had a Black Z straight 6 with the same headstock. One of my top guitars I wish I never had sold. I'm hoping they bring out some variations of more classic looking Z and ML shapes with this headstock
I have two custom ordered USA Dean MLFs from 2007 and 2009 that were the first direct mounted pickup guitars they ever did. One quilt top natural finish with black binding and a flamed redwood. Very cool to see they are now doing it on other guitars now.
Nice review. I have the Evertune version and I agree with everything you said here. The floyd version is probably more fun but I liked the red finish better and I wanted to try out a guitar with an Evertune. The only thing I'd change is to maybe make the body a little smaller. This guitar is pretty big compared to my other Vs and It wouldn't fit in any of my other cases. It did fit in the gig bag from my Solar V though so at least I had something to put it in until I could order a Dean case for it.
Just read an article that the Creature is coming back to the Black Lagoon in a reboot film with the same title as the original. I believe James Wan is directing but not 100% sure …
She's a beauty. Congrats, LC! You always play the coolest riffs in your videos. It's weird to hear you talk about the weight, though. The last two Dean's I owned (Cadillac Select and Dave Mustaine Rust In Peace) were both light as a feather. It was hard to get used to them. But it's nice to hear of an overseas Dean that has some weight to it. I wish I still had my Mustaine, though, because the neck was very comfortable. And it's probably a collectors item now, so hang on to your Angel Of Deth! Also...I recently started using Stringjoy Strings based on your video. I love them. They stay in tune and they sound great.
YOOOOO awesome!!!! cant believe i caught this so early! i can tell this videos gonna be a banger. quick question! have you ever heard Consuming Impulse by Pestilence? and would you consider doing a tone chasing episode for them? cheers! Edit: damn that guitar sounds gnarly
Second this, Been listening to Consuming Impulse heaps lately. I have seen someone go through the production of Spheres, touching on how they got the tone but also some mastering choices. It's obviously a bit different by that point in time but could give you some idea. That being said, beyond remembering it was a text article I have no idea where I saw it.
for sure! i wish it had more of a following than it does because its honestly a better album than some of deaths stuff as well. i even vouch for testimony of the ancients too! but man, Consviming is such an incredible album.
What’s up with that nasally high end at the 0:28 mark? Was there a mic problem or something? That’s a badass looking and sounding axe! Name of the riff at the 12:52 mark please?
I’m Dave’s No#1 fan so they’re pretty cool but I haven’t entertained the thought of getting one. I haven’t had a good Gibson experience and vowed never to waste another cent on one
I have a 90's Jackson randy rhoads v with flamed maple top and a black burst with a fixed bridge. The transparent color is this really nice dark deep green.
Jackson doesn't make a real fixed bridge kv2 and kv1s are astronomical in price. If you want a lower model V, they have more fixed options. They made a fixed RR1T but with the KV2T, they change the scale, headstock and inlays. Basically a different guitar.
They disrespected nothing. The Stealth design was transferred from Washburn directly to Dean. Diamond never owned the design. The Razorback design was submitted by Dean before he died, it was granted in 2005. Rita should just shut the fuck up already.
Hey man do a review on your chair. I play pointy guitars so I need to sit up on the edge of the office chair. If I play for an hour, my @$$ hurts! I don't really have a butt so it makes it even worse. I need a good pointy guitar chair.

Gonna get this in the Evertune version as soon as I can. So many quality of life bells and whistles and looks absolutely awesome
Gorgeous guitar. I like Dean’s headstock shape a lot. Same on my Primal Concrete Sledge Dime.

Finally I'm seeing reviews of these things, weren't they announced like two years ago?
Dean is slow as F acctually shiping the guitars

Absolutely fukkin nailed Not My Funeral. I have a 2010ish VMNT korea (modded) and that is one of the first songs I learned front to back on it.
Sick playing dude!

Amazing tones! And 24 frets. 🤟
The bridge pickup is ceramic, and the neck is alnico 👍That's how the Fishman Fluence Modern set comes
Absolute Great Harmony Riffs

Awesome as always! Keep it up! 🙂 I also really love the Angel of Deth Mustaine guitar. Mabye i can buy a used one someday.
Beautiful. I live in Florida near the Dean factory in Tampa 💫🎸🎶🎵🎵🎶🤘🏼

Very nice axe bro 😍
I'm not into active pickups anymore but I need to try the Fishman. The sound is sick 🤘🏻
Cool guitar, nice playing 🤟
I remember the guitar in the original stock photos was a darker gray color, it kinda bothers me that its more of a brown, but it still looks cool
That angel of death is so fucking cool

@@LambChopper678 ok thanks bro.
I'm a simple man, I see parrot, I see badass flying V with a floyd-rose, I click video.
There are many beautiful V's out there, but what i hate is most of them only have a floyd rose tremolo. Wish there were more fixed bridged guitars.
Almost every one I've seen has a fixed bridge available.
@@vorpalblades I guess it's because of my country, doesn't have much different guitars

Some quality work on these deans, it just hurts they disrespected dime and Rita leading to dime brand leaving dean
I’m to loyal to Dime to get a dean

The Dean z looks just like the Epiphone Ghost Horse. I understand why Gibson is pissed.

They do make some decent guitars these days but that’s really expensive for an Indonesian factory guitar.
The pickups sounds like shit imo
