This might seem like a basic question but how do you practically prepare for 330W for 2h and then a 1:12 run? How does 200W on the bike for "easy mileage" actually help with that? Not criticizing... genuinely wondering. Also - I listen to the RTS podcast which are usually longer and great for trainer rides, but you should make these recap videos longer and more in depth! I think people will definitely watch them through. At least I will
Great questions! I usually ride even lower than 200W for easy actually. It’s the hard intervals at or above 330 that really prepare the body for racing at that level. That’s why I keep the easy riding so relaxed. If I rode at 220 ish for warm up it would take something out of me for the main set which is never worth it. I do sometimes ride moderate after the intervals if I’m still feeling good and want to get some zone 2 work in. For the run, it’s much of the same. Lots of work at or faster than 3:20/km. I don’t do a lot of brick workouts but I think it’s good to occasionally, with a race intensity focus.
Great result in a huge stacked field Prize money a bit low and not very deep Was the huge field the reason there was no race ranger ? 80 pros seems ludicrous

You should’ve say about 500$ in the beginning 😉 🤟🏼
Jackson, what brand helmet do you have? I know it’s covered in your sponsor but which brand is it if you can say?
In this race I wore the Kask Mistral.
