These games that are played with drafting, chasing groups, passing individuals or groups are all bull@#$#@. Somewhere along the way, the fact that these are supposed to be non-drafting TTs got lost. What would happen if everyone ran their own race instead of playing drafting games on the road? I imagine the rules makers ponder this and don't have a solution.

I keep the rule that if I'm on the podium, and especially if I win, then I go back the next year. It's very encouraging to the race director and gives them a storyline to help sell their race.

There are tons of considerations, I know... like the publicity of being in a T100 race probably is huge for sponsorship ecc... but I feel like you could win IM Pro Series if you dedicate to it, so I almost feel like Alcatraz will be a waste of time for you.

Totally random, but I wonder if there’s ways to lower the front end of the bike without adjusting position in relation to contact points. Like have a longer rake front angle or smaller portion of fork under the top tube before the break into the fork for the wheel. That way your physical limits don’t need to be adjusted cause you just “slam” the front end but in a way that doesn’t change your physics position other than tilting it forward that is

Bros HR is 161 at 5:11 pace. Meanwhile, I’m in Texas (hot and humid area right now) and it’s at 150-160’s at 7:30-8:30 pace 😂

Looks like you have a front derailleur cover...no chainring cover? Sometimes that's a wash if yaw distribution is low single digit...and for the crankset you're rocking.
