Almost didn't watch this but glad I did. I'll be Scuba Certified this Saturday and after a couple of dives I plan to start bringing my camera along but don't have any underwater light options. This might fit the bill as I start exploring my underwater options. Foremost is what case to use that best protects my Sony A7iii and is the most functional.

anyone using this.. consider using thermal epoxy to attach a small heatsink. the kind that are made for pci-e cards on a motherboard... will help to disperse the heat and may do better in long run. i've noticed the plexiglass crap starts warp and bow forward if you leave it on high for too long

Hi Dustin, when you have a chance can you also look at the "Boling P1 RGB Led Video Light 2500k-8500k Mini Pocket Size On Camera Light with 9 Applicable Situation, 360° Adjustable Support System with Built in Battery". I was told this is the direct competition to the Al-MW and costs about 50 us less. Great video as always. Have you had a chance to update the Sigma lenses with the new update as yet? I was wondering how the 35 1.4 fe is doing compared to the samyang 35 1.4 fe? Is the new autofocus that much better or would the Samyang be a better purchase, or should people consider the upcoming Sony 35 1.8 fe? Thanks for the wonderful review!
Hi Jose, I probably can't look at the other light. I'm scheduled out months in advance. I have updated the Sigma, but haven't shot with it much since the update. I haven't yet compared the Sony/Zeiss 1.4/35 to the Samyang. A 35mm showdown is down the road yet (maybe I'll time it with the 1.8/35)
