Sean Michaels definitely worked for him. He was the heartbreak kid and especially whenever he first Went solo. It lined up perfectly with him.

Also, it’s pretty easy to be a fan of hers because her crazy character was very good and not like anything else going on at the time. The great thing about that kind of character is there could be a lot of different things going on. Such as when they were doing the her getting married to Daniel Bryan and she was coming out in a wedding dress, but she also had tennis shoes on. There was some normalcy, but still that little touch of crazy in there. Again, it fit with her doing the whole, smiling and skipping down to the ring, but still with this crazy looking eyes. I like the song and I like the character and it worked for me. Maybe it don’t work for everybody else but that’s your opinion. I think it worked and her track record shows all of that. Plus, you don’t really need to be a fan of someone to like, or not like their entrance music and think that it did, or did not work for the character.
The thing about the Corre that always fascinates me is that they existed for like four months but had 8 different versions of that theme song. They spent more time making songs for the Corre than writing anything for them to actually do on the show.

Why did they dub 'X-Factor' into the intro, but not remove the original lyric? Given how low everyone in X-Factor was on the card, who were the lyrics supposed to be describing? Why did Uncle Kracker sing the word 'Back' like a sheep? Why did WWE just assume that they had licensed the song? I have so many questions and most of them are 'why???'
0 truth was spoken. The song has way more than 3 notes, it has 4 different sections with tempo and beat changes within the first 50 seconds so it's not boring by definition. It's constantly moving and adds orchestral layers in the reprises and it is legitimately over because if it wasn't the crowd wouldn't be hijacking promos with it (Finn Balor on Raw being the most obvious example) or singing it long after the song has stopped playing (Wrestlemania 39 entrance among a whole bunch of others). And the chant is in scale, it's the B Minor scale, 1st, 6th, 5th and then 7th (for the high note) of the scale. You can still not like it and find it annoying, but the reasons against it given in the video are objectively wrong and Sully doesn't know what he's talking about.

1. Seth's theme, albeit not a good song, is actually perfect for his character, which is always towing the line between face and heel. The intro part allows crowd interaction which is good for a face, and the part afterwards shows the unhinged, unstable nature of his character, which is good for a heel. I think it does what it's supposed to do, even though I don't like it and I miss his "Messiah" theme which is criminally underrated. 2. I might be in the minority here, but Stephanie McMahon's Authority theme isn't that bad at all. Her themes have always had a hip hop influence and this one keeps that. Also the change in the themes shows the evolution of her character. She's no longer the girl who is finally a woman making her place in the business, she is now the queen and she runs the show, whether you like her or not. 3. Brie Mode might objectively be the worst theme ever. Like, say what you want about these other themes, but at least some are sonically appealing. Brie Mode legit hurts my ears to listen to, to the point where I make sure I skip it when I'm cycling theme songs while making a CAW on WWE 2k. 4. Any theme is going to sound bad when you sing it in a stupid, mocking voice, LUKE. 5. Speaking of Luke, I'm suing this page for causing mental trauma for making me watch that "Ass Man" cover.

Oh my god, this was the funniest goddamn episode of TLC yet. The lads all just teeing off on terrible songs and laughing at each other is a great way for this format to start the new year. I’m tempted to go back and retroactively assign points to older episodes to see how those tally up.

THANK YOU SULLIVAN, YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT SETH ROLLINS'S THEME AND YOU SHOULD SAY IT. I've been thinking "It's three notes!" for MONTHS, at least since Wrestlemania if not longer.
It's a lot more than 3 notes. Even the singalong in 4 notes not 3 because the chant goes up the scale at the end (and yes, it is in scale, it's the B minor scale, Sullivan is just musically illiterate). But you add in the riff at the start, the chromatic transition right after and the descending riff in the fast section and the arpeggios and orchestral chords in the background and it uses pretty much every note in Western Music harmony. You can still hate the song of course, as can Sullivan, it's a free country. But literally everything he said about it in the video is objectively musically wrong.
Okay… it’s not the worst thing of all time, but currently… I don’t like Gunther’s current theme. Both the original orchestra piece he used & the original main roster theme were great & imposing.

1. Seth's theme, albeit not a good song, is actually perfect for his character, which is always towing the line between face and heel. The intro part allows crowd interaction which is good for a face, and the part afterwards shows the unhinged, unstable nature of his character, which is good for a heel. I think it does what it's supposed to do, even though I don't like it and I miss his "Messiah" theme which is criminally underrated.
2. I might be in the minority here, but Stephanie McMahon's Authority theme isn't that bad at all. Her themes have always had a hip hop influence and this one keeps that. Also the change in the themes shows the evolution of her character. She's no longer the girl who is finally a woman making her place in the business, she is now the queen and she runs the show, whether you like her or not.
3. Brie Mode might objectively be the worst theme ever. Like, say what you want about these other themes, but at least some are sonically appealing. Brie Mode legit hurts my ears to listen to, to the point where I make sure I skip it when I'm cycling theme songs while making a CAW on WWE 2k.
4. Any theme is going to sound bad when you sing it in a stupid, mocking voice, LUKE.
5. Speaking of Luke, I'm suing this page for causing mental trauma for making me watch that "Ass Man" cover.

The unfortunate part about Heidenreichs theme is that without the chants it's actually a pretty good hard rock instrumental track, but the chants of his name just ruin it

Oh my god, this was the funniest goddamn episode of TLC yet. The lads all just teeing off on terrible songs and laughing at each other is a great way for this format to start the new year. I’m tempted to go back and retroactively assign points to older episodes to see how those tally up.

Okay,so I was confused by what Luke and Pete meant by Keith Lee's main roster theme,because I thought they were referring to Born to Bring It,which is actually a pretty good theme (although Limitless was objectively better)
Before “Born to Bring It,” they gave him a generic af song that was preceded by “Oh, Bask in his glory!” which tricked folks into thinking it was his NXT theme. It was not. It was 💩.

THANK YOU SULLIVAN, YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT SETH ROLLINS'S THEME AND YOU SHOULD SAY IT. I've been thinking "It's three notes!" for MONTHS, at least since Wrestlemania if not longer.
It's a lot more than 3 notes. Even the singalong in 4 notes not 3 because the chant goes up the scale at the end (and yes, it is in scale, it's the B minor scale, Sullivan is just musically illiterate). But you add in the riff at the start, the chromatic transition right after and the descending riff in the fast section and the arpeggios and orchestral chords in the background and it uses pretty much every note in Western Music harmony.
You can still hate the song of course, as can Sullivan, it's a free country. But literally everything he said about it in the video is objectively musically wrong.

I agree SO MUCH with Sullivan with the Rollins theme, not for the theme itself, but because WWE is trying so hard to get the audience being a part of the theme songs themselves with them going "wo-oh": they're doing it with Cody, I can tell they're trying to do it with CM Punk but it's not really kicking in yet, it's just a marketing thing and I kinda hate it to be honest, it ruins the natural flow of the crowd being a crowd

It's great and all with the crowd and Booker T, but without any of those things, it's so generic and bland that it is SO codependent on outside sources to make the song sound good.
