The greatest royal Rumble DOES NOT COUNT! Why did you include it?!
Royal Rumble 2024 is the worst now. Boycott Wrestlemania. Watch Rampage instead! AE FN W is a perfect wrestling promotion. They haven’t made a single bad booking decision yet.
Where is the smackdown review that too from oli?
If you guys reference another creator's work, by name and try to scoop their cred. Can you do the reasonable thing of including a link to their video so that people fascinated by your hosts referencing it don't have to search. Fortunately Super Eyepath Wolf is big but like Do Better please. Jam that Jam.
Would 2024 be on your best or worst list?
8:52 The first triple handshake, what an historic moment 😂😂😂😭😭👑🎊
"DUH NUH NUH... NUH AULD LANG SYNE!"
Love it 😂
It happened on the best Saudi Araibia matches first
Not to mention twice in one list
Not a handshake, but Pete, Luke, and Denise all had Stone Cold as best WWE Champion.
To those being like ‘it’s happened before’ not before number 1 it hasn’t
Imma need the Philadelphia crowd to channel the energy of RR 2015 for Rock vs Roman
Cody isn't nearly as over as Bryan was so people aren't going to boo the Rock for him.
There's levels to this, kid and Cody isn't on the level of dudes like Rock, Roman and even Punk
Roman is just a make a wish kid that wanted the title and they couldn’t think of a way to write the title off him without looking bad. He has slightly more talent than Jax and just as limited of moveset.
Nah 😂
@@BaithNaWhat the heck are you talking about? Cody is literally just as big as Bryan was back in the day, they literally made him the second man in history to win a Rumble Back to back because of how over he is! Everytime he comes out, the reaction is insane….Now I do agree he isnt as big as Punk or Rock but he is on Roman’s level at the very least….
@@BryRobinsonYour right…..Roman does have a story with the Rock….But uh…IT DOESNT NEED THE WWE TITLE! Cody should have won that title last year and then you could have built to the Rock vs Roman for simply the title of Head of the Table….
Pete saying “I’ve had enough of this ****in Roman Reigns bollocks” is all of us today
I don’t get why people are surprised. It’s still Vince’s company even though he’s gone. But he built it. The fans’ opinions have never mattered.
@@ericanderson969 You spelt disappointed wrong. Surprised was what we were when we saw how they treated Liv Morgan's title reign. This isn't surprising, it's disappointingly more of the same.
Not me
Roman is literally tied with Hogan in terms of WM main events now. This company learned nothing.
@@falcon8752 Whats wrong with that? Well if you hate him yeah but if you don't, there's no problem
Not enough people talk about how RR 2015 decided after eliminating Bryan early, after the "shattered dreams" bullocks, they then decide to just bury literally every other wrestler the crowd likes. All just stomped and easily eliminated by Big Show and Kane.
Right!?
Big E! Ziggler! Bray! Ambrose!
One after the other!
Rusev was chosen by the fans in fucking protest!
People say that the 2022 men’s rumble was booked by Shane McMahon. This is incorrect because it implies that this rumble had some booking behind it
SUPER EYE PATCH WOLF MENTION OMG
Can I get a time stamp please?

Tables Lies and Chairs can be a wrestling themed Fibbage, with 2 true statements and one lie, and contestants find the lie. Alternatively can be called "Where the Lie?"
Sullivan's giggle is fantastic and so contagious
Sully is my favourite person in the industry, he's just great
respect for the supereyepatchwolf mention that roman video he made was incredible
That video got me to start watching wrestling cause I wanted to see the rest of the story.
19:33 This line by Pete really echoes in tonight's Smackdown ending too
I'm sorry, what happened? I don't know what you're talking about without context.
@@lewismaclean-db8ye Rock vs Roman confirmed for Mania instead of Cody vs Roman 2
@@wildcard_jr7967are you sure about that
The fact that the Greatest Royal Rumble couldn't even be the greatest of the worst Royal Rumble matches makes me chuckle.
So glad this series is still active. These are some of my favorite videos made by you guys. Maybe put sat on here as a co host
amazing line by Luke, seeing Andre and Shaun in the ring at the same time is like seeing cars and horses on the road
I wish we still had Saturday news with Sat & Tempest cause yesterday's Smackdown was a *DOOZY*
I forgot
Ikr it was so good
@@MrTroyPlayerhe brings a lot of energy to the news and I liked it, seemed like he was having fun with it and not just going through the motions
@@MrTroyPlayer wrong
@@SxnhsV2 yes you are
It's 2024, and I honestly thought that Sullivan's real name was Brian Children.
What kind of last name is Children anyway? It sounds like a strange name
They must've shot this before the Rumble last week because thats the worst. The crowd thought so too.
Nah @@LoudFlimzz It wasn't great but 2015 will always be the worst of the worst
Sullivan's laugh is a damn treasure.
The entire man is a damn treasure.
The Luke Owen Challenge: Can he do a video without doing the Bossman Who the Man?
I saw the 2015 Rumble live as my first time back in like 5ish years to wrestling. That crowd was soooooooooooo pissed, and I didn't quite get the dislike for Roman at the time. I will say, the last like 8 minutes where Kane and Big Show just keep eliminating all the people we wanted that were left in there was so very deflating.
Supereyepatchwolf got mentioned🔥
Man the timing of this video and what topped the lists is...well it's certainly one of those funny stars align type things, innit?
Points scoring suggestion: if 2 answers match up - 2 extra points, if 3 match up - 3 extra points. Probably not going to change anything in the end results, but adds extra fun =)
There are a couple of moments in this and in the Worst Theme songs video where Sullivan seems to reveal an underlying anger hidden beneath his jolly fun demeanor that only shows up when he is REALLY annoyed, and it amuses me just as much.
rr2015: roman and rock are bood out of philly
wm40: roman and rock are bood out of philly
I only realized now...
Between 2014 and the start of his title run in 2020, Roman Reigns either won or was the last person eliminated in all rumbles but two.
2014 - Final two, eliminated by Batista
2015 - Won the Rumble
2016 - N/A
2017 - Final two, eliminated by Randy
2018 - Final two, eliminated by Shinsuke
2019 - N/A
2020 - Final two, eliminated by Drew
2020-2024 - His arduous title reign.
I am so tired of him lol
In 2016, he was third to last, so tired of Roman
@@codynelson7575 I think you're wrong. According to the official Wikipedia: "Bálor, Nakamura, Cena, and Reigns were the final four. Cena eliminated Bálor... and immediately afterwards fought with Nakamura, who performed a 'Kinshasa' on Cena to eliminate him. Nakamura attacked Reigns and attempted a 'Kinshasa', however, Reigns countered into a spear. As Reigns attempted to eliminate Nakamura, Nakamura countered, performed a 'Kinshasa' on Reigns and then eliminated Reigns to win the match"
@@davetoms1 your right, I meant 2016 not 2018
@@codynelson7575 ohhh right, I forgot he was third last in 2016. So much Reigns :( lol
The 2015 Rumble isn't even just bad, it's just the company telling the fans to go f themselves for an hour. It's so bad I have seen some people try to cope by saying it was a subversive match to rumble tropes. Absurd.
I had only watched the 2015 Rumble a few days ago for the first time, because I just had to witness the catastrophe, and oooof was it difficult to watch after Bryan was eliminated.
19:31 "He calls the 2015 Rumble the most catastrophic night in pro-wrestling storytelling history." Last night's Smackdown might just be the thing that gives it a run for its money. The Rumble's still worse, honestly, but last night is going to be a very close second.
Just like the RR15, Wrestlemania is in Philly this year :D
Fortunately they have since pivoted back to Cody v Roman, but you know that Philly would have torn Mania to shreds if they were stubborn.
NO ITS FINE ITS GOOD NOW
@@Jackson_the_king66Yeah, it's good for now... but if Cody loses? OH BOY.
This episode of tlc is just what was needed after what has been a depressing week.
Big shout to who i presume was editor adam for putting together this masterpiece
THAT FILTHY FRANK MEME AT NUMBER 1! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Surprised that Pete didn't mention how Lesnar lost the title earlier the in day (2022), since he had already said he hated it.
I still remember watching the 2015 Rumble, and when it was counting down to number 30 I kept saying “It’s going to be Samoa Joe.” Then Roman came out, and my dad says “well it’s a Samoan Named Joe.” 😂
I need supereyepatchwolf to be on TLC
The 2015 royal runble was the first royal rumble i watched live, the worst part is that it wasnt a bad rumble at the start. Bubba Ray Dudley return, the Bray Wyatt return. Then they eliminate Bryan, and Kane and Big Show elimante everyone then Roman wins... couls have been great, but Roman won.
I know that this is a random video for me to comment this on but it just hit me that I hadn't put this on anything yet:
Thank you for being you.
Thank you for just being you.
Thank you for being wonderful, fun, caring, lovely people who, in this world of 'anti-woke' nonsense, look out for your fans, each other and the wrestlers you cover.
I know it was recorded beforehand but I think after last night we can retroactively add 2024 to the list
I have PTSD anytime i hear someone say Predictable
Can we get a best/worst catch phrases episode?
This is just like the worst WWE champions list in that we all know what number 1 is gonna be but we still watch because its so damn entertaining
THE TRIPLE HANDSHAKE?!
“When things are great” made me laugh so hard 🤣
Wow the 2012 Royal Rumble is being massively disrespected. I admit that it isn't one of the all-time greats, but it is nowhere near one of the six worst. Yes, the match is hurt as the two top superworker babyfaces, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, aren't in the match (because they were world champs, what a time). Neither was Cena since we knew he was facing The Rock, but the match has so many fun moments:
- Mick Foley returns and we get a staredown between Mr. Socko and the Cobra
- Ricardo Rodriguez as a surprise entrant in the beat up car, and even getting the fans chanting his name
- Jerry Lawler as a surprise entrant which gets a good reaction
- Booker T as a surprise entrant which gets a great reaction
- Michael Cole as a surprise entrant is of course terrible, but that's the point as it sets up Kharma as a surprise entrant which is also great
- Hacksaw Jim Duggan as a surprise entrant is nice
- Randy Orton gets a huge hometown pop
- Cody is the iron man and has the most eliminations. Wild
- And of course the "match within a match" between Chris Jericho and Sheamus which is awesome, probably only behind Taker/HBK and Cody/Gunther in terms of finishes
- Lastly, this Rumble has the first ever Kofi spot! Specifically the handstand which is so amazing that even heel Michael Cole can't contain his enthusiasm
Absolutely agree. I fully admit that I'm someone who doesn't watch Wrestling week-to-week, but I will always go out of my way to check out the Rumble, because it's such an interesting match. And as someone who understands that Chris Jericho is a big deal, but doesn't mind Sheamus as a worker, that final two is SOLID and feels like a genuine toss-up that either man would have EARNED his win in. And the stuff like the commentators was just fun little comedy spots...and it's a FUN Rumble, even if it's not the most SERIOUS Rumble.
The editor for these is amazing big props, my man or lady. Also, I love this 3-man team for shows
Can we just be happy with the fact that, even though it took 20 years. Big Show was finally able to utilize his Royal Rumble victory to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.
SuperEyepatchWolf shoutout!
As much as I Love the WrestleTalk Team, Guys I really would have loved a SmackDown review today and your genuine thoughts, especially on what went down. Roman cooking Seth, Cody literally stepping aside and The whole Ghosts of 2014 / 15

My friends and I drove eight hours to attend the 2022 Royal Rumble. Only to be treated to *that* 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
19:32 I believe last night's episode of Smackdown has finally taken that title lmao
I love Sullivan, I always enjoy whenever he’s in a video. So whenever I see these come up I’m like yes!. ( no grudge against Luke and Pete of course they’re also enjoyable). Just love Sullivans accent and silly sense of humor.
Following on from the comments about early rumbles at the start. and after the fallout of the 2024 men's rumble, they dont know what theyre doing now either...
It's only fitting that Wrestlemania 40 is in the same city as the 2015 Royal Rumble
The first triple handshake, you love to see it
That Tables Lies and Cheers could be really great. I’m thinking like a social deduction thing where one of them has a controversial but not nonsensical list, and only the liar knows it is a lying episode. They will have to explain their “choices” on the list like normal and quell any suspicions that it is a lying episode. If they get away with it at the end they get to choose the next List topic. The others win if they are able to deduce it is a lying episode and guess who the liar is.
My favorite wrestling videos. I make my own list before watching and see how I compare to y'all. Keep it up!
Today would be a really good day for some Saturday news
But Luke, if the Women's Rumble was the main event, we couldn't have Nia Jad lose and then come take R-Truth out at 30 to enter herself into the Men's Royal Rumble.
Men's 2022 was actually worse than 2015
Hot Take: They should've done the commentator spot in 2011. Cole and Lawler were fighting at WrestleMania anyway so have one eliminate the other, and just have Matt Striker jobbed out by The New Nexus or The Big Show or hell, Hornswoggle. Doesn't waste as many picks as 2012
Tricks Lie and Corruption! Two teams, tell a wrestling story each with 2 being true and 1 being a lie, opposite team have to work out which is which. Obviously ‘Would I lie to you/Call my bluff’, but with wrestling!
Ok, Pete. Someone having a world title match, losing, and entering the rumble can be one of your least favorite tropes, but I will have questions if Becky's win is on your best list.
Can you guys please update the Playlist for TLC? I personally love re-listening to these during work!
SPOILERS
The fact that 1995 isn't even in the top 3 is both incredibly weird and SOMEHOW correct
It will always be in my top 3, along with 2022 men's and 2015
Okay the triple handshake/Auld Lang Syne/cringe bit got me 🤣 well done, gentlemen.
I always assumed 2011 was 40 men because the first one was 20, and they wanted it to average out at 30 men per rumble
Nothing to do with the fact there was 2 Factions taking atleast 10 spots between the nexus and corre
Whoever edits these deserves the biggest of pay rises 😂😂😂
I miss Smackdown review
The best part about the 2015 Royal Rumble ppv has both the Greatest Triple Threat in existence and also the Worst Rumble Match in existence.
Pete: "The 2019 women's rumble ending is awesome!"
Also Pete later: "I hate it when people have world title matches on the rumble show then enter the rumble later on!"
I think what he means is when the title match contender is officially signed up to be in the rumble match as well. It doesn't make sense because he could be a world champion by the time he's in the royal rumble.
In 2019 becky pleads to be be in the match when Lana gets injured. It is one (and only?) instance where it makes sense.
People give me the funny eye when I say this one of the reasons the 2019 women's rumble is overrated, but I don't care, it is overrated
To be fair Becky entering made sense since she replaced a injured wrestler where as Roman loses a title match & yet somehow gets a number(30 at that). Becky's had storytelling throughout the show(with Lana getting hurt on the preshow to Becky losing to Asuka & fans wondering how she gets to Ronda). Also people wanted Becky to win unlike Roman.
I need to know why Sullivan is so CATACLYSMICALLY FUNNY!!!
My wife and I were at the 2015 Rumble. She didn’t get why they were booing until later.
Also, she hated the 2020 one, mainly because Brock held it up (and kicked out Kofi).
The worst for me was the GRR.
Wonder where the 2024 mens would be on this list since it was basically pointless
Hearing Sullivan discuss his entries on any negative list, he sounds like a shellshocked veteran recounting traumatizing memories.
Please put together a supercut of Sullivan laughing. The tight little mouth, like he's afraid to open it all the way, the machine-gun titters, it's just a joy to behold.
19:31 - This line didn't age well after how Cody "stepped aside" for the Rock to fight the Big Dog
2015 Rumble being in Philadelphia and Rock/Roman potentially being back there for this year's Mania might be one of the most poetic things Ive seen in a while.
Isn't that the first time we've had all 3 people match on pics (WWE world championship doesn't count because Pete forgot about Jinder)
Worst AEW matches
I actually need the spinoff now
The 3 way handshake!!! 😂
I think, ironically, 2024 has a chance of being in the top 10 worse.
Cause the Men's was just.....boring. No real moments, no legends, no spots really, no good returns, Cody wins only for Rock to appear on Smackdown and tell him to f-off so he can be at Mania vs Roman instead. It's just garbage.
16:44 10 years later, history repeats itself.
I was there for that 2015 Rumble 😁😁. Glad I'm a part of infamy 💪🏾💪🏾
Well I still see cars and horses on the road everyday 😂😂
I'm sitting here waiting for Sat E Day to start and then I remember, you cancelled the Saturday show. 😢 I understand, but I'm still disappointed. Was my favorite part of my work day, breakfast with Sat
Are they just not going to upload a normal news episode and review today? I've also just been waiting
@@rafacastillo9611 not till Mondays now unfortunately
Sullivan's energy n laughter is the best!
So your telling me 2014 is better than 2017?! I refused to believe that
Surprised 2016 didn't get a mention
So am I actually!
I still contend that "we" did not want Roman to win in 2014. "We" wanted not Batista to win and Roman was best choice in a sea of bad alternatives
The unbridled joy the lads showed when all three got 2012 on the same one!
Anything that is bad in WWE, pre-Vince scandal, I just come to this conclusion: Just blame Vince. It always makes you feel better to just direct your ire towards the person who makes those decisions.
Tables Lies and Chairs needs to have Jon Gracey listening to three different tales of wrestling storylines from history and trying to determine which one actually happened.
These TLC’s are entertaining. I don’t understand the point system that reveals the top 3 overall but the reasoning behind the selections is funny and makes sense. Funnier when 2 have the same answer at the same time
You know whats really sad is by this point, Pete has seen what happened with Cody, and his opinion on how bad Roman winning the Rumble was with fans booing it......and the Rock is there too....I'm sorry Pete. I hope you're doing okay.
Editing....Awesome! Sullivan's laugh....Awesome! Wrestletalk.....Awesome! :) thanks you funny feckers
You also forget with 2012. Not only did the 3 commentators make an appearance in the rumble match. You also had Ricardo Rodriguez, Road Dogg, Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Plus Dolph Ziggler and Big Show who competed in world title matches earlier in the show. Just showed how thin that rumble was
For only the 2nd time in TLC history, a Perfect 30 winner, and we all knew it would be. Also, first time in a while we get 10 answers with repeat votes, but two of them still get beat by high-ranking singles votes, with 2014 making the board. (Thanks, Pete.)
1) 2015 (30)
2) 2022 Men's (25)
3) Greatest Royal Rumble (16)
4) 2012 (15)
4) 1999 (15)
6) 2022 Women's (11)
8:53 - The real aday the earth stood still. What a moment.
#1 should be this year’s if they don’t plan on putting the title on Cody
I’m a simple man - I see Sullivan, I click
The funny thing for me about the 2015 Rumble is that i was watching the abridged Raw on Hulu and Roman was never featured on it so i had no idea he was disliked when he won
@@shaneharrisnj3484 I meant at the time of the rumble lol. From time of the Shield breakup (which they showed) the abridged version of Raw never featured Roman leading to the Rumble. Just whatever Dean and Seth were doing.
@@CallMeVanEl oh.... 😅 ok then
@@shaneharrisnj3484 I didn't word it well the first time around 🤣
Wasn't that the one where they had to cancel the show so just replayed the Rumble and world title match?
@@CallMeVanEl Yeah. I did draw a few bits of heat for some opinions and wording too... so... yeah we're definitely even 😅
4:55 - Dude King has said some really questionable stuff about Taka. Like when he had the feud with Brian Christopher King literally called him a "slope" on national TV. The WWE Network didn't even sensor it.
Living in an area where there’s a lot of Amish, I always see horses and cars on the road at the same time
