    thanks for this video. I have used Derma stamp 3 years ago (similar to Derma Roll) for probably 6 months and I got zero results. I decided to quit and then got back about a year ago after seeing few more videos about Pen. I purchased high quality Derma pen and there's a HUGE difference. Within two months my shedding stopped by 90% and by month my hair became thicker + tons of vellus hair that are becoming terminal. If roller did not work for you, give a chance to Pen, high chance it will work.

    Great vid, very simple and has all the info I was looking for. Been on minoxidil for ~4 months with bo progress so I’m hoping micro needling helps. Also difference is I wait until the pain/redness goes away before applying minoxidil so it doesn’t get into my circulation. Also apply it twice daily (morning/night) and use tretinoin 1hr after the last application at night.

    Do not apply Minoxidil on "broken skin". No cuts (dermarolling is literally making tiny cuts), infections, nothing. Your skin needs to be healed before applying Minoxidil to avoid issues. I apply Minoxidil 12 hours after I've used dermaroller so the holes (cuts) have had time to heal quite well.

    • @cornpop7176
      @cornpop7176 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Minoxidil is absorbed far better if immediately applied after derma rolling. Some people react bad to minoxidil going systematic so start with a small amount and make sure you dont get heart palpitations or facial swelling. If everything is good you will be fine applying it immediately after derma rolling

    • @JimmyRingz

    some tips: when showering rinse your hair in cold water, the cold water seals your pores, as opposed to hot water which we know from acne methods that it opens pores. Also be healthy, don’t use bs shampoos that are basically just detergents with good smells and no benefits, find a natural shampoo/conditioner that has natural stuff like rosemary no sulfates etc all that bad bs. I also read that milk can cause hair fall, now I’m getting nit picky bc hey all info may change your mind. Obviously don’t eat junk food and soda everyday change your food! I know this is an extra step but if we filter our water why wouldn’t we filter our shower water? You can buy shower filter, I plan to do this I’ve just been on fin and min and a natural shampoo for 2 years, now I’ll change to this plantmade kit and start using derma roller, cheers. OH ALSO CLEAN YOUR DERMA ROLLER WITH 70% alcohol, or maybe also soap and water and storage it with wrap.
    Update: August 25th I started derma rolling and back in fin + min, my front hairline has greatly filled in, I have a bunch of baby hairs, but it’s not thick and full of volume as I would like, I’ve been derma rolling 2x a week (0.5mm) I’m hoping by NEW YEARS I will get close to my high school hairline. I exercise weekly, drinking lots of water, and eating home cooked meals, lots of fruits and veggies, occasionally sugar eats here and there but very low. My hair gets oily around 3-4 days if I don’t shower, I try to only wash my hair 2x a week, sometimes I’ll do an extra quick rinse after applying a rosemary “hair growth” homemade jar (recipe from multiple TH-cam videos)

    If dermarolling didnt work for you and you want to try the derma pen, then maybe it as because you didnt use the derma roll correctly. People usually dont apply the correct ammount of preasure. Everyone thinks that "slight preassure" means just roll it on your head. Some dermatologist even say that bleeding a little bit is totaly fine and for some even means that you are doing it correctly.

      Do it max once or twice a week. You will be at higher risk of getting scars in your scalp which will cause further hair lose in the long run. Also, use minoxidil the day after since it can cause irritation and further worsen the condition, as well as getting unwanted side effects from Minoxidil.
      You can probably use Minoxidil twice a day everyday, but the day you derma roll, just don't apply any in your scalp for better and more long lasting effects. Hope it helps.

    • @algarrido
      @algarrido  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think 2 times a week really improves results, but people should be careful to do it right. Dermarolling too often and too harsh can be worse than not derma rolling at all. If after some time people are confident with the rate of derma rolling, they can increase the rate, but doing it carefully :)
