This video features over 120 Balding Men shaving their heads and going bald for the first time. I must also mention Lauren the only woman to have shared here head shaving experience here at Baldcafe for the first time also.
Over 5 years ago I (Harry) shared my experience with losing my hair for the first time. I was in my late twenties at the time. It took be around one year of struggling to accept it and fully move on from worrying about going bald.
After I did I felt compelled to help others who wanted to do the same. Baldcafe was born and it worked. I could have never imaged though just what an incredible community it would turn into.
Men began to get in touch wanting to also share their experience in the service of helping their fellow man in their own hair loss acceptance journey.
The balding to bald head shave transformations came. I decided that my goal would be to create a "library" of transformations and stories 100 strong.
I picked the goal of 100 because I felt like that would give me a good chance of covering many demographics and would give every viewer the ability to relate to someone else's journey.
You never know what it is about someone else's experience that can help you in your own.
It took many years to complete but here we are. It's an incredible achievement. I'm not finished yet but I want to thank you the viewer. I truly hope the content at Baldcafe helps you accept and move on from hair loss when you decide for yourself that you are ready to do so. I also want to thank each and every man who has featured on Baldcafe. Your willingness to be open and vulnerable has allowed you to share a genuine and relatable experience in the service of your fellow man. It is incredibly honourable and I am forever grateful. You are all true kings.
The work here at Baldcafe continues but this will surely serve as one of the most important videos I have put together.

@@PortlandSucksss Yeah, I take Finasteride because I hate the idea of being bald and additionally the DHT was abnormally high anyways. Within six months I went from a bald spot to nearly full hair. Still have the slightly receded hairline, but I can live with that. Sure, finasteride causes reduced libido and depression in some guys, but you cant reduce libido that is already barely there, so I am fine with it.

@@GREEDYGAMERR grow the face hair anyway, see how it looks, trim it into a shape than works and if you have thr motivation get to the gym a few days a week, and do your push ups at home when you can. Itll happen eventually brother

Actual body positivity would be embracing the look of each and every Norwood stage, not "either you have perfect hair or none, anything else makes you ugly".

As a long-time bald guy, I loved this video. It brought back the memories of when I first went for it. I also LOVED seeing how many women were so supportive and positive with the guys. That means more than many realize.
Probably one of the best videos you’ve made! You’ve inspired so many men to not get hung up on their hair and shave it off. It’s great to see so many different guys from around the world embracing hair loss and not letting it diminish their masculinity.

I can’t stress enough how much your videos have helped me brother, I feel like I’m in ur debt. I started balding at 18 I’m 21 now and finally decided to just send it and shave it all and I absolutely love it! Before the shave I spent 3 years of my life constantly stressing, being insecure and anxious especially when it’s windy because I always felt like people were looking at my hairline and laughing at me behind my back. It made relationships particularly stressful as I was always planning how I was gonna hide my hair from my girl😂 I know it might seem a little ridiculous but you are changing lives man, God bless🙏🏼

Been bald 20 years and it has not negatively affected me in any way. Women love it, and you always look younger cuz there no gray hair. 🤙

Well boys, I finally did it. I finally went bald. I'm a nearly 36 year old man that experienced rapid hair-loss in the past five years. I still wanted to hope that I had a few more years of hair. Like many, my hair was becoming a real burden and confidence killer. I was very afraid of shaving my head but knew it was in my near future. I didn't plan it, but today I had enough and decided to shave it all. I didn't expect it to be such a relief and confidence booster. Like a huge weight has been lifted from me.

@@danieljakistam9409 I had for years. I had tried rogaine for quite a while, different supplements etc. None of those worked for me.
Congrats! And don’t worry too much on what you think women are thinking about bald guys. It takes some getting used to, when guys finally shave their hair, but the end result is actually more confidence, because you own the look and essentially, you own who you really are.
I am so proud of everyone in this compilation and for all those all over the world that have joined the bald brotherhood. I have been shaving my head for about 20 years now and I have never regretted it.

started shaving my head in 2020 at 23 after years of being insecure about my hair. it is the best decision ive ever made in regards to my appearance. instantly made me feel more authentic and confident
25 and started shaving my head last summer after waking up one morning and having horrible bed hair. It bothered me so much that instead of combing I just grabbed my clippers and razor and went completely bald. I should have done that sooner, I like how it looks on me and it boosts my confidence.

I struggled with hair loss. Always felt anxious about having to take my hat off or go to public events that didn’t allow hats. I wish I would have started shaving my head earlier. If you’re reading this and contemplating shaving your head, go for it!! Don’t be like me and struggle for 10 years ‘balding’. Embrace being bald and I am sure you’ll look way better bald than balding. Power on bald brothers, god speed.
It's amazing how much better they look. When the hair's thinning they look weak, ill and lacking in confidence but when they shave it off they look younger, more handsome, stronger and more confident. They go from beta to sigma.

Watching it 2nd day cause it's a long video but so wholesome and great that i don't even want to speed it up. It's so so amazing to just watch someone get rid of massive problem, insecurity, something that is holding them back. And the change is within seconds! I don't know if there is sth similar to that. That's literally the fastest and easiest change, that will change your attitude, self confidence, bring a big smile to your face and make you feel free. And yet it's so hard to do, right?

As a woman i think I speak for a lot of us when I say many of us don’t truly appreciate how hair loss/thinning affects a guy (and trust me, us ladies go through this as well BUT women have so many options available to us now with hair extensions, wigs etc…) watching this has made me think about just how much of a big step this is for you guys to say “I’m letting it go” so honestly I think you’re all rockstars 🙌🏽

So I'm receding on the corners of my hairline and was worrying about how to try to maintain it for as long as possible. This great video has shown me that I am overly exaggerating my receding but also when my time comes to just accept it and rock it. Love watching these videos. Every one if these looked better and happier after the shave. I noticed my hair thining 10 years ago in my early 20s. Hated seeing myself in security cameras in stores from above showing how bad it really was. Found this channel about a year ago and this passed summer I finally shaved my hair off for the first time. Now I buzz it with my clippers with no guard then go back over it with my braun series 7 shaver. Comes out near smooth. I like the look and have gotten nothing but compliments since then and definitely makes me feel a little better about myself.
What I didn't like about this video is none of the men I saw had large or protruding ears. Being bald only accentuates this.

It's great seeing young men regain their confidence. I started my bald journey before there were TH-cam channels like this to help encourage and guide you through. Even though I've been bald for going on 17 years, I enjoy watching these reveals. It's just a very uplifting experience in a world that often tries to put you down, especially this superficial modern social media driven world we find ourselves in today.
Awesome. Initially it's difficult to complete the shaved look but it is better, easy to manage and removes that anxiety which is key to being able to move forward. Us bald and balding men need to understand we are also bold, trend setters and not measured on our hair lines. ❤

By the time spring comes round you will start to get a tan, make sure to use moisturiser with spf protection! Started working on fitness getting in better shape also, do it for yourself & no one else.

Im 19,ive been balding since i was 16,my hairline is as good as gone now and i have a v shaped hairline which i constantly shave. People have always given me a hard time for it as if I've comitted a crime but i understand thats just their blatant ignorance,this channel has really helped me accept my baldness,it doesn't bother me anymore,sure people give me weird looks when im passing on the streets while some even laugh at me and ridicule me but thats just who they are,it feels good to not be alone in this! Yeah if you have normal skull shape, don't cling into your dying hair. Horseshoe is the worst. Bald looks younger than a horseshoe, and harder, which is a masculine trait. If you're athletic on top, you have nothing to worry about in terms of women

I’m 27 and have been dealing with a receding hairline/thinning hair for about a year and a half now. I thought about shaving my head on New Year’s Eve last night and start the year off with a new look but guess what? I failed to muster up the courage to go for it lol. Probably just because I still have a lot of hair left. It’s not very obvious yet. I guess I’m gonna wait till it is. I guess when you’re dealing with hair loss, there’s a right time to go for the head shave and for me, it’s not now. Every guy on this channel who shaved his head and shared his story is a total badass.
Your time will come when it feels right man. And honestly knowing that you have the power to take that step any time you want… I hope it relaxes you enough to really give less of a shiii about the fading hair and to not worry or have it impact you at all. Then when you fancy the change go for it. It’s one hell of a dopamine releasing serotonin boost

I’m exactly in the same situation and 28 yo. Still got enough hair to keep it but I know for sure that it will get worse.

This was good to see - I took the dive 7 years ago in my mid 20s after stressing about it constantly. If I ever have doubts I did the right thing, I go back to videos like this and take note that every single guy looks 100% better after the shave.
The only thing I regretted about shaving my head was not having done it a decade earlier. Changed my life. Fantastic video. Well done lads.
I was in 7th grade biology when we learned about widow's peak and balding, etc. The girl I had a crush on pointed out that I was already balding. The amounts of hair I had in the tub when I stepped out confirmed that. I struggled with it so hard until I was 22 and shaved my head. 20 years later I still do it and I have the same self conscious struggle even seeing the halo shadow, but my wife loves it.

@@maorizio1 I started balding in 7th grade as well, it started early maybe because of my constant use of helmet in sports but that's how bad MBT is, balding can start as early as that and being bald at 12 with everyone pointing it out is rough

watched you for a couple months maybe almost a year and went back and forth with the idea of shaving my head but was just too content with just wearing a hat all the time. I play soccer and work as a soccer coach so wearing a hat wasn’t the most ideal thing. I’d take it off playing in my leagues and kick around and just tried not to think of it but one day my buddy sent me a video of me playing and my bald spot was gleaming. Watched a few more videos and set a date in stone and just went for it. I had my girlfriend shave it off and I’ve been a billion times happier and more confident. It’s not talked about out super openly amongst people I know since i’m only 23. If you are going bald and are thinking of shaving your head, just do it, and if you don’t like it grow it back out
I am amazed how so many of these guys end up looking so much tougher and even intimidating in some cases. But the thing that surprises me most is I perceive these guys as looking way more self-confident, and how that changes my impression of someone just on their appearance - in a positive way.

In 2015 I had a blackout at work and fell and hit my head on a metal bath at work the top of my head was cut open badly while I had a seizure for the first time I let my hair grow back where that had to shave it had great thick black hair always had good comments noticed the thinning a year after and tried to brush it sideways and after getting my hair cut once a month I invested in a shaver at 35 yr old and decided to go 0.5 - 0 ev2n with the scar n my head I'm 44 this year don't worry about gel or spending 120 a year slight skin tone and I love the faded bald look just as much even if I had hair I'd still shave it best choice I ever made don't even realize how much better it would be respect to all you guys taking that step to go without thinner dry almost dead hair trust me you guys won't go back if you could no time wasted styling it in the mirror either which is the best thing about it!

A betting man
To all of those who are scared:
- Underneath that hair, your head looks a thousand times better than you think. Always.
- Do women prefer men with a full head of hair? At least when you ask them. But when you go talk to them they actually couldn't care less, promised. Don't let the finasteride-sissies blackpill you
- If it really does happen to not look good on you, or makes you even more insecure, you can still go back and get that hair transplant
- Yes, some people you know for a long time may not like it, others will cherish it, just like any haircut. It's just a question of personal preference, really
- People you don't know won't even care. For new people you meet it's the most normal thing that you're bald. They can't even imagine what you look like with hair and find old pictures of you with hair surreal.
Plus: people mostly care about their own insecurities, so they won't even see something wrong
-Ultimately, don't make yourself crazy, it's literally just hair. Nothing to it
Or just get on finasteride as soon as your hairloss just started. If you start early enough, your hairloss will freeze in time.
One pill a day takes 5 seconds of your time and that's it.
And the side effects are very rare unlike the fear mongering we can find online.
Everything else is just copium.
Edit : a hairtransplant without finasteride doesn't end up looking good long term anyway.
