So what he is s trying to say, is if you can find the heater hoses. and the engine is warmed up . if one hose is cooler or hotter than the other you have a clogged heater core. His English has gotten worse over the years.
Can it be a situation when a car is loosing coolant only in Heat mode, and everything is fine in Cool mode? It looks like what our car does. I don't know if the Heater Core is involved when you drive w/Cool mode. I would appreciate any comments on this issue. Thank you for the film.
@@IfuAintCrocin Thank you for the replay. I eventually replaced a radiator on that car, about a week ago, and fortunately checked the fan before the installation the new radiator. The fan didn't work, I replaced the motor in it. I didn't test the car yet, other repairs, so it is still on stands.. But it can be and thermostat as well. Thermostat on that car (2003 Chevy Cavalier) is located behind exhaust manifold, a lot of work.
I’m currently experiencing something like this and questioning if it’s my heater core. Got my water pump replaced, and now my car is over heating. Mechanic says it’s a blockage in the coolant system, and flushes doesn’t seem to be helping. My cars heat has always been on the weak side, but I never notice anything other than a sweet odor when I use the heat. But flushing my coolant system is proving tricky to remove the blockage so now I’m thinking it’s either the radiator, or heater core. But ur not alone with a mystery overheating issue. If you found a answer to your situation let me know :)

Very helpful thanks.
Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
Center stayed warm and cold air was blowing on the sides of the core.
Thanks
What if both of them are cold?
@Auto Repair Guys how can i flush the heater core? Do you have a video on that?
Thank you
I counted and he said guys 40 times in this video
My heater blows heat but it blows out coolant with the heat. Is it the heater core should I just replace it ?
