btw, an update about the unused Arceus event in the Sinnoh Pokemon games for those who still don't know (I don't mean specifically you, I'm just posting this as a reply to you on a whim): Later down the line, long after the Diamond and Pearl remakes' release, that unused Arceus event is present in BDSP, though in a different way than what most long-time Pokemon fans would think: If you have Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl, but also have save data of Legends Arceus that has you having "seeked out all Pokemon", you can load up BDSP after becoming the Champion (I think), and return to your room at your home in Twinleaf Town, where for some odd reason, the Azure Flute is just sitting there (probably to do with some timetravel stuff) and you can take it and do the Arceus event as Gamefreak originally intended you to get Arceus: By playing the Azure Flute at Spear Pillar to open the pathway to The Hall of Origin, where you fight Arceus. But fyi, if you do seek out Arceus in BDSP or hack out the Azure Flute in the original Gen 4 Sinnoh region games, make sure you save your game before you climb the stairs to The Hall of Origin, as, once Lord Arceus sees you approaching him, he will force a battle with you, he won't let you save your game in front of him, to softreset for each failed capture or the like.
For the Magma Stone in DP: perhaps Heatran was at some point in development an event Pokemon like Darkrai, Shaymin or Arceus and required the event distributed Magma Stone to appear.
If I remember correctly, the player goes with Buck into Stark Mountain where he takes the Magma Stone, only to be told to put it back. When you return, Heatran will be waiting in that room. It's possible that originally the player would have been charged with taking the Magma Stone back to have Heatran appear.
I believe that was the original plan for the Heatran cutscene to occur and then they scraped it for the final version of the game. I definitely stumbled upon the interview by a complete accident with Nintendo explaining exactly what happened during the development of cutscene of triggering Heatran. It definitely mentioned the Magma Stone being used somehow, that much I can recall. I was nowhere near Stark Mountain when I managed to somehow come across the interview. I believe that they also granted permission to share the exact information from to interview to broaden the perspective and to make awareness of the player need to get Heatran registered in the players pokedex if is not already.
About the "Dummy" TM- in programming, it's pretty common practice to name variables that you don't really need names for "dummy". So, good chance that that TM is just a placeholder that they used when designing the code for TMs.
Nintendo might have explained why the Dummy TM was place there in an interview regarding the trade sequence regarding the Mr. Mime trade in Fire Red and Leaf Green that I stumbled upon by a complete accident. They definitely confirmed that it was a place holder for the substitute attack. This specific information they gave permission to share over social media since spies would not particularly care about this bit of information, even if some of them have likely found it already. I believe that Nintendo even said it in the interview as well.
The god stone might've been for kyurem. Like how reshiram was the light stone and zekrom was the dark stone. But instead of reviving kyurem it could've been something kyurem can hold to turn into the "original dragon".
I don't just want those giant regi dolls in the game for my secret base. I want them in real life for my actual house. Just three massive regi trio beanbag chairs.
That would be some obscure plushies to have irl. if they don't exist already irl. The Regi trio is certainly not the first few Pokemon that comes to mind first for making Pokemon plushie merch. Still, I like the original idea, not sticking to merely "cute Pokemon" for plushies.
The God Stone in Black2/White2 is obviously related to Kyurem. It's the same stone as the Light stone and the Dark stone (which is actually Reshiram and Zekrom) but in a grey color, and Kyurem is mostly a grey color pokemon (Because grey is the color between Black and White.) I would suppose originally this stone is going to serve the same purpose as being Kyurem itself, but they scrapped this idea eventually. In the actual game you will see Getsis take out this stone and it will transform into the Gene Splicer that can fuse Kyurem with either Reshiram or Zekrom.
Fun fact: The Arceus you get in platinum with the Azure Flute can be transferred to black 2 and white 2, but cannot be transferred to pokebank as it is seen as an illegitimate pokemon to pokebank when attempted. It does however trigger the Sinjho Ruins event in hgss.
Minor correction to the X/Y part: You can hack the Apricorn Balls in, but the game won't let you use them as Poke Balls. I tried it out before and it didn't work, and double-checked just now to make sure. Sadly they just sit in the bag and do nothing. You can, however, hack in and use Cherish Balls.
Nintendo made sure that Cherish balls can be hacked in every game that have them and used for a very specific reason that I believe I saw online with them talking about it. Cherish Balls can also be hacked into Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, and they also function perfectly fine. Nintendo made 100% certainly that Cherish balls would work as intended and not crash the game. I found an official statement by Nintendo confirming it. Nintendo is well aware of spies in their building, and places content that they talk about appropriately on the internet.
Nintendo explained that they disabled the aprocorn balls from being used in Pokemon X and Y for reasons that I saw an explanation from clearly explanation their reasons as to why. Part of the explanation was that they allowed Cherish balls to be used in the game. They make the information incredibly hard to find on purpose, even though it is authentic, since they do not want spies to get ahold of the information. They probably do not want anybody to talk about the exact reasons on social media as they made themselves pretty clear with the other information regarding Luigi.
I believe that you actually commented a similar comment on a old Pokemon X and Y video regarding that you were going to eventually retry it again sometime in the future.
The Surf board in gen 1 is used by Pikachu when it knows the move Surf. You can teach it Surf through Pokémon Stadium by beating certain battles. I remember I've beaten it once on Yellow, taught Pikachu Surf, traded it over to Silver, cloned it, evolved one Pikachu into Raichu and moved both back to Yellow. Next turn in Stadium Pikachu used an actual surfboard where Raichu was surfing on its tail.

There was roughly 3 regions(?) that appeared on my game that was triggered prior to the DLC that included the region that was used for the DLC. Maybe the other items will be used in the other regions, but there no official confirmation, to my knowledge than they wanted to possibly make more regions in the future, other than the Crown Tundra information which they talked about over 2 decades ago with them being unsure how to make the idea at the time. It was really scattered among the other information that they talked about as well. They were probably able to make the region very easily since they had all of the details planned out already, including the pre-planning to make the region backtrack itself just incase the player made any mistakes. It is also the only way for the player to get both pokemon on a single copy of the game without trading a whole lot easier. There was clear mention of them being made available for at least a few months apart from each other completely ignoring the region. They did mention that Legend Arcues might have it included in there as well with a slim of doubt.
Ice terrain lowers evasion and curacy of Pokemon that aren't flying or have levitate (the reason should be obvious) Ice type (they are naturally acclimated to it) Or Steel type (Ice skates) could also have made an Ice skated heald item to negate the effects too.
I think the unused theatre was for the pokestar studios cinema (which didn't get implemented until b2w2), and I think it goes unused cos when you actually watch the movies it's just one long cutscene instead
That would logically make some sense since the PokerStar Studio in the game remakes are split up. Also judging by the time the games had to be coded, it would take too long for them to make shorts split up by category. They were likely too busy designing the Gen 9 starter pokemon and commenting about Pokemon Scarlet and the other game to actually focus on the PokerStar Studios. I have had that theory for a little bit of time now possibly, and only now can I speak up about it. I might have actually unsuccessfully glitched my way into that room, and only saw a very little bit of the content that was coded into the game. Nintendo knows what they are doing when it comes to glitching into areas regarding non-event pokemon map zones, and they have to honor the request even of the person does it abnormally as permitted by the gamecode.
You can actually get the azure flute now without hacks or glitches just using the wifi connection and changing the DNS number as well as all other events like the shiny dogs and member card, oaks letter on the DS
Sword and Shield developers: should we cut like, half of all Pokémon? Sure. Hundreds of moves? Definitely. Key items from previous generations which serve no purpose whatsoever in Galar? Absolutely not, those are staying!
For all the items in sword and shield because the games are the first proper ones on the switch they would want the items imported so if they needed them in the future they didn't have to go back to the ds or 3ds

4:33 You might not believe me but my friend encountered it in the wild we have no idea how but we are guessing the game glitched and spawned it.
i think ice terrain would slow down non ice type pokemon
New Pokemon Snap utilises the apple-less Applin form.
What a wonderful =3 callback I miss Ray’s hey days
Love the rwj reference at 3:38
An ice terrain could turn all water type moves into ice moves
Dropped a like for RWJ
Oh how I wish that toilet was still in the final game.
Ice terrain lowers evasion and curacy of Pokemon that aren't flying or have levitate (the reason should be obvious) Ice type (they are naturally acclimated to it) Or Steel type (Ice skates) could also have made an Ice skated heald item to negate the effects too.
Zygarde in general is unused, criminally so lol
4:51 AIGHT WHO LEFT THE TOILET SEAT UP
This was supes interesting! Noicely done!
8:10 then they added it in the remakes seems thats really the only thing thats different in the remakes compare to the originals.
Maybe if their was an Ice terrain maybe an opponent might have got frozen for 1 or 2 turns during battle. ?
For all the items in sword and shield because the games are the first proper ones on the switch they would want the items imported so if they needed them in the future they didn't have to go back to the ds or 3ds
Idea for magma stone in gen 4: 1.2x boost to fire and steel type moves. A heatran soul dew
3:30 Tag yourself, I'm The Number Four™
you can obtain the regi dolls if you trade them from a japanese version of the games
