In Pokémon Black/White, if you tap on a Pokémon while in its Summary screen, it will turn its back to you. Tap on it again, and it will turn to face you. Rub the stylus vertically over the Pokémon, and it will start jumping up and down. Rub the stylus horizontally over the Pokémon, and it will start hopping from side to side. Keep rubbing the stylus in a circular motion over the Pokémon, and it will start to levitate.

    Fun video!
Fun fact: the Ralts line were finally added to the Human-shaped egg group with Gen VIII. All Ralts-related Pokémon were classified exclusively in the Amorphous egg group alongside the likes of Wobbuffet, Grimer and Drifblim for whatever reason.
Before you think Gen VIII decided to fix some egg group inconsistencies, though, it should be noted that Nidorina and Nidoqueen still cannot breed. For some reason only female Nidoran and the entire male line-up can breed, while Nidorina and Nidoqueen have never been able to... in the games. Curiously, the anime special "Mewtwo Returns" shows that not only can the Nidoqueen clone that Mewtwo created in the first movie breed, but all her babies are miniature Nidoqueen.

In a recent video from DidYouKnow Gaming, they got Nob (the guy who translated the first 4 gens) to translate an old Pokédex book that was only ever released in Japan back when Red and Green came out. And according to the book, female Nidoran canonically lose the ability to breed once they evolve.

This one is mostly an unconfirmed rumor, but it's something that makes for a good story anyways. All the pokedéx's entries about Eevee's "unstable DNA composition" aren't just background fluff to justify all its evolutions, but an actual callback to how Eevee was conceptually supposed to be used as, a pokémon that couldn't hold a permanent evolution because of said unstability, transforming temporarily into Jolteon, Flareon or Vaporeon by using the elemental stones as in-battle consumable itens. This, however, proved to be too complicated to make work at the time, what with the Game Boy's limitations and the ever-changing moveset between forms, so the devs settled for multiple permanent evolutions and called it a day.
This kind of adaptative mechanics however didn't died on the cutting room floor, and is rumored to be the basis of Arceus', Genesect's, and Silvally's gimmicks, being able to change their types to better fit the situation, just like Eevee was meant to be on the alpha days of the first Pokémon game.

I was so happy when it worked, and I kept doing that the rest of the way to the next town to avoid any battles 😂. Later on, I (finally) discovered repels were a thing 🤦🏻‍♂️

You can technically use a move you’ve forgotten in the middle of battle (at least in black/white but I’m unsure about the other gens).
But if it’s a double battle and your faster Pokémon kills an enemy causing your slower Pokémon to level up and learn a new move, if the move you deleted was the one you planned on using then your Pokémon will still use it, even though it’s no longer there.
Learned this as a kid with my Pokémon Black game. Battled a double battle near victory road and my Emboar leveled up in the middle of the turn and I made him forget flame charge for flamethrower. I realized I had selected flame charge to attack just before, and he still used it despite no longer knowing the move. I’m sure this works in other games gen 3 onward after double battles were introduced. I’m glad this dumb fact finally had a use since I’ve been wanting to share this for years.

Useless fact of the Chinese language in Pokemon: The reason it got to Generation 7 for the first official Chinese Pokemon game to release is that China is too big so different places have different translations of pokemon. And none of them want to change them. So in 2016 TPC made a video for Chinese users saying that "Screw it, we are going to organize the official Chinese translation and put them in the same game" (The video is now taken down for some reason)
Also, there exist two versions of Chinese in Pokemon games, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. Simplified Chinese is the official language of the Chinese government, while Traditional Chinese is mostly used outside of mainland China. There were a few Chinese Pokemon names changed for some cencorship issue, that was only changed in Simplified Chinese (For obvious reasons), but the Traditional Chinese never changed any names.
Also, the official Pokemon Trading card game only sells in Traditional Chinese, which is mostly not sold in Mainland China, for obvious reasons.

In Generation III, there is a 1/64 chance a Hiker, Camper, or Picnicker can be seen climbing the mountain when going up or down Mt. Chimney using the Cable Car.
When using the Cable Car, Poochyena (RS)/Zigzagoon (E) was supposed to be one of the sprites that could appear with a 1/64 chance. However, due to a bug, it can never appear.

Azurills gender change chance was fixed in X and Y i believe so each Azurill will always stay the same gender. Stomp also does more when the opponent uses Minimize.
Twister does more to damage to a pokemon using Sky Drop, Bounce or Fly and can knock down berries in the battle background in X and Y.
Compoundeyes can also make it more likely for a wild pokemon to have a held item.
Also X and Y its actually Route 2 that has a 100% catch rate as well as the Santalune Forrest.

Here's a Fun Fact addition to the Rotom-Fan part: The reason they would even put Levitate on a Flying type... is due to a mechanic oversight that i guess they kept.
In Gen IV, Rotom and all its forms were the same typing; Electric/Ghost with levitate. The only difference would be the stats of regular vs appliance, and what moves they would have (Rotom uses all 4 well, while the appliances would be stuck with one of Overheat, Hydro Pump, Blizzard, Air Slash, and Lead Storm).
Then Gen V came and made the appliance's ghost type swap with the type of the learned move. So... yeah, the Flying Levitator sucks. But I find it interesting to discuss.
