Often times seen as the Head Loa which isn't to equate Him with God (Supreme Deity) which is Bondye or Bon Dieu.

Oscar was the one in the commercial, but all the dolls have differet names. Chucky is inhabited by the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray, whose nickname was Chucky.
Each Good Guy doll has a different name. They're not all named Chucky. Now that I think about it, we never find out what this doll's name was going to be because Chucky is actually Charles' actual nickname and he was possessing that doll since the toy store
When this movie came out me and my friends went and saw it and we laughed thru the whole movie, lol, and your remark about having kids is spot on, you will know when the time is right, you are very level headed and mature for someone so young :) awesome reaction !
You should see Childs play 2 and the new tv show of Chucky that just came out it's so good. The reboot was crap when it comes to the doll and how he looks the kills were interesting there but for me it will always be the original and the reboot just pissed me off like the remake of Nightmare of Elm Street did as well. Fun fact this movie was based on a real life doll named robert and while he never killed anyone he is a voodoo doll himself and was said to have slashed toys,pillows and destroyed things around the home. He is now on display in a museum and is said to be able to curse anyone who disrespects him and that he moves around in his case even knocking on the glass a few times at night. I saw the trailer of this movie when I was 8 years old and it gave me nightmares for a month. I grew up in the 80s with talking dolls so it hit really close to home. Didn’t see the whole movie until I was 11, by then I’d gotten over most of my childhood fears, largely because I saw the second and third movies, which were more comical like the Nightmare on Elm Street sequels.

Loved your reaction. It's so nice to see you react to a genuinely great movie; love when you get involved in the story. I think some zoomers look at the title and artwork and go, "uhhh, no?" and nasty old men my age are all, "not enough stabbings! hEh hhaaah", meanwhile, reactors continue to sleep on genuine 80s classics. Back in the day (for me, the 80s) the general rule of thumb for scary movies was: if there's no one in it called Michael, Jason, or Freddie, it's probably pretty good, and so it proved. I mean, hardly anyone has covered 85's "Fright Night" and no one at all, as far as I can tell, has watched the stone-cold "The Stepfather" (too dark, maybe). At least "The Fly" got some love, including from you! (Though your stomach didn't like it, heh!) Anyway, hope you liked this hilarious and even scary movie!
Do all the movies after this one cos there's a new series just out last month. IT's on SYFY USA tv and I'm on episode 3. Cos the series takes place after "Cult of CHucky." Totally worth it.

Child's Play (1988) Child's Play 2 (1990) Child's Play 3 (1991) Bride Of Chucky (1998) Seed Of Chucky (2004) Curse Of Chucky (2013) Cult Of Chucky (2017) These all lead into the new Chucky T.V. Show that has just been made and started airing in the U.S. The Child's Play (2019) remake/reboot has nothing to do with the other films and the T.V. series and I was not a fan of that either it was an unwarranted reboot in my opinion. I hope that you continue with the films and T.V. show when available as I am waiting for it to start airing here in the U.K.

Y luego empezo hablar con voz profunda! Y luego........Sangrando por la nariz!!! Dije WHAT THE FUCK??!!!! Me llamo la atencion y mire un rato Mas. Teniendo 10 años , Claro si me asustaba pero queria ver que iba Pasar en la pelicula! Llegaron mis papas y no la termine de ver. Tambien el miedo de ya no me dejo verla. Jajaja. Luego la volvian a Pasar en la tele , miraba un poco mas.....de lo ultimo que alcanze a ver anteriormente. ( dos o tres veces) Hasta que por fin quise ver el final!!! Y siempre que pasaban pelicula de chucky , casi siempre Era la 2. Y siempre en Español. Siendo transmitida por la tele......cortaban algunas cosas ( chucky 🖕 🖕 y en Español no decia exactamente lo mismo en Ingles: FUCK!! BITCH !! 😆🤣 )

I actually really liked the 2019 one as well. Lacked Brad Dourif, but it was fun in much the same way the originals were.

Recuerdo que Era la que Mas miraba.......solo si la transmitian en la tele. Jajaja. Verano del 99 , estaba en casa de mis abuelos mirando la tele cambiando Canales y de repente mire al maldito muñeco volteando la cabeza y poco a poco abriendo los ojos. Y luego empezo hablar con voz profunda! Y luego........Sangrando por la nariz!!!

Me llamo la atencion y mire un rato Mas. Teniendo 10 años , Claro si me asustaba pero queria ver que iba Pasar en la pelicula! Llegaron mis papas y no la termine de ver. Tambien el miedo de ya no me dejo verla. Jajaja.
Luego la volvian a Pasar en la tele , miraba un poco mas.....de lo ultimo que alcanze a ver anteriormente. ( dos o tres veces)
Hasta que por fin quise ver el final!!!
Y siempre que pasaban pelicula de chucky , casi siempre Era la 2. Y siempre en Español. Siendo transmitida por la tele......cortaban algunas cosas
