Sorry to hear your hits are down. May I humbly suggest a solution. I think your fans are not getting enough of you. One reactor I've seen puts out three reactions to your one. Remember Scarface's rules for success: 1) Do it first. 2) Do it yourself 3)Keep on doing it.
You would make a fantastic heroine in a horror film.Your personality and sense of humour would be completely fresh in today's films.Brilliant reaction as always!🎃
Robert is amazing as Freddy, loved your reaction to this movie. Fun fact though Robert once fell asleep in his trailer with the makeup on and when he woke up he saw Freddy in the mirror and freaked out until he relized it was just him haha. You should see number 3 that one has Nancy there as well and number 7 has her as the actress and Nancy as well a movie within a movie type of thing. Number 6 gives more info about Freddy's past and how he became a dream demon as well. This one was actually Johnny's first ever movie which is interesting. The ending confused me too,I think it's a dream within a dream sort of thing.
If you were wondering about what movie Nancy was watching it was called The Evil Dead (1981)' you should add that one to your watch list and of course Friday The 13th (1980). Simply because its part of the holy trio of famous slasher films, two down one to go and of course all the sequels from each franchise as well!
The evil dead has a poster of the hills have eyes, so they put the evil dead in this one, then in the requel the remake/sequel evil dead 2 there i a freddy glove in the woodshed
Fred Krueger is my favorite character in the whole movie. Didn't care for anybody else dying (yep Johnnie Depp too, hate him generally). Robert Englund is the goat! Played Fred real well. And a very nice guy irl.
I used to be the biggest scaredy-cat when it came to horror movies when I was a kid, but I watched this one and it taught me to face my fears and the film did it with such humor and charm
The answer to your confusion is very simple, it was all a dream. The entire film was a dream, even when you think they are awake, still a dream. That's why the real world and the dream world seemed to blend, because there never was any real world. That's what Nancy realized near the end "I know the secret now. You're not alive, this whole thing is just a dream."
Loved the reaction! You're just wonderful :) Side note: Wes Craven was against that car ending. He didn't want the car to be Freddy, he wanted it basically to all have been a dream.
If you liked this one, you’ll also like Nightmare on Elm Street 3, which is the best one. They’re all really creative like this one. Creativity is what makes Freddy such a great character. Also, Evil Dead 2. 👍 (Evil Dead 1 and 2 are the same movie, but I think two is made better, with a bigger budget, although less-horrific).
Wes Craven's original ending was Nancy defeated Freddy by "taking away his power" but producer Bob Shaye saw franchise potential with Freddy and decided to keep him alive despite Craven's wishes.
Brilliant reaction again,. You're one of my favourite youtube reaction channels. This is a very scary film, but I enjoyed your reaction to it. I recommend these war films Memphis Belle, Kelly's Heroes, Good Morning Vietnam & a comedy musical: The Blues Brothers - all excellent films. Keep up the fantastic work.
Brilliant reaction again, Once Upon A Reaction. You're one of my favourite youtube reaction channels. This is a very scary film but is a classic and I enjoyed your reaction to it. la idea al final es que no importa que tan bizarro y confuso es un sueño, tu mente no te permite notarlo hasta que despiertas, es cuando te das cuenta de lo raro que fué. tiene mucho de estudio e investigacion onirica esta pelí por eso fue tan sugestiva para las mentes jovenes en su momento.
Love how the murderess mom was so bold as ro flaunt her alcohol abuse in front of her impressionable teenage daughter. The doctor at the sleep institute was Charlie Fleisher. He was the voice of Roger Rabbit in, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." Pppplleeeeaaasse!!! The best film of this series is number 3, "Nightmare On Elm Street: Dream Warriors." ✌❤🌹
@@justindenney-hall5875 You got A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge, that's 1; A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, that's 2; A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, that's 3; A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, that's 4; Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, that's 5; Wes Craven's New Nightmare, that's 6; and Freddy vs. Jason, that's 7
@@justindenney-hall5875 Dude I count Freddy vs. Jason as a sequel because it does take place in the same neighborhood as the first 6, but we just have to agree to disagree on this subject. End of discussion.
@@jebcalp5703 The story does not directly follow the continuity of the two franchise's sequels like a shared cinematic universe, it is a stand alone story involving the two characters, I don't wish to offend you, but an opinion is subjective and should not be presented as a objective fact.
Ok so the ending turned out the way it did, because it was technically rushed. The original ending was that Nancy did indeed destroy Freddy with that speech. But it turned out the way it did, because they wanted to pave away for a possible sequel because it was their first movie and they didn't know where it was going to go, as far as being successful. Wes Craven didn't plan on a sequel at all. Obviously with the ending it worked out, despite how it turned out and how confused most people were by it. To sum it up, the whole Nancy pulling Freddy out of her dream, never happened. That was Freddy playing with her, the whole time. This movie was based on being challenged on knowing what's real and what's not. Not going to give away the sequels but Freddy has that power to tamper with reality for each kill that he gets. They go into details in the sequels, if you choose to react. Which believe me, its completely worth it, cause it gets better.🔥🔥🔥🙌
I'm a little late watching this. But if you want more old confusing horror from the time when they actually made horror movies with kids as the target audience, you should watch the Phantasm series. The first movie is from 1979. I like it when this type of movie (supernatural horror) is a little confusing and don't tell the audience everything. Imagine how it would be if it happened to you. You wouldn't understand half of it, and probably not believe most of it. If you know all the answers from the start, you are just watching it and judging the protagonists on whether they are taking the right or wrong actions, with no surprises on the result.
Nancy was fantastic. I'm glad to see she fought against Freddy Krueger. Have you seen An American Werewolf In London? It was an 80's horror/comedy classic. Maybe sometime you could do a reaction video it? If you're a fan of werewolves, I'm sure you would love it.
12:09 Don't hate on Nancy's hair V! Back in the day lot's of girls wanted curly hair- (think of Madonna's style in Desperately Seeking Susan). Great video 👍🎃
I'd like to see your reaction to "A Clockwork Orange". It was directed by that same famous director who did "The Shining". I heard some movie critic say it was about how good it feels to be bad, but I think there was more to it than that. It's not exactly a horror movie, but it is very disturbing.
Skip 2. Part 3 “dream warriors” is the best. 4 has some clever special effects but not essential. Skip the rest. Then, if this movie broke your brain, you should check out New Nightmare (1994). Other than the original, that is the only Freddy movie directed by Wes Craven. It was one of the first “meta” movies I ever saw. The same year was John Carpenters In the Mouth of Madness. The 90s was very meta.
Loved your reaction :-) I liked the movie and the "DIY montage" back then and had a big crush on Nancy. And the 3rd movie (Dream Warriors) is my fave of the franchise
In the sequels Freddy is portrayed more and more like a sick jokester and always saying one-liners and kind of acting like a twisted clown character similar to Pennywise in Stephen King's "It." The dream kills get more creative too.
Your reactions are so cute and funny! Keep it up! And I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I personally like the 2010 version better. I can definitely appreciate what the original accomplished for its time, it's just that I feel like the remake looked better and had better effects.
The reason why they run like that in the dream is because there trying to make it seem realistic like when we have nightmares and try to run from something but can't get anywhere that's why
I was probably 6-7 years old when I saw this back in the 80’s. I grew up on all this horror movies. Glad you finally watched it. I think you should give “Candyman” a reaction or if you want another good Wes Craven movie, I recommend the movie “Serpent and the Rainbow”. Por cierto, nice makeup.
