This was an amazing display of your creativity, talent, and skills!! I was never a lover of chicken pot pie….because the in store brands were not tasty or flavorful. I have just recently started to like and enjoy eating broccoli!!🥦 so, this will definitely be a nice and welcoming treat!! This meal with your chow mein noodle recipe will make for great comfort food meals during the fall/winter season. Although, I live in New Orleans and we rarely have more than 2months of a winter..LOL I still will try them and enjoy them to the fullest!! ❤❤❤❤ keep your great meal ideas coming!! I like making turkey pot pie with leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner. I have to have top and bottom pie crust.

I was thinking the same thing. I'd probably slightly pre-bake a bottom pie crust for mine, then follow the rest. I look forward to making this version of his pot pie. It looks so good.

Please make red minorcan clam chowder. My dad made it one time when I was young I'm in my late twenties and no one has made it right since. Every thing you make is the right balance of gourmet and home cooked. And your slowish paced which makes you easy to follow. If you make this I'd be able to recreate something I haven't had in a long time

That was one of the biggest things I hated about pot pie are the peas.🫛…side note branding suggestion… add your logo (static) as the landing page on that digital pad on your counter that we see in the background. The first time I made chicken pot pie, I used the frozen biscuits and topped it with cheddar cheese! I love homemade biscuits but never the flaky ones or pillsbury kind and I’ve never tried making them before. I used Mary B’s and they hit every time!! Your dish looks great! I’m going to try your biscuit recipe and even try putting a little Parmesan in the vegetable mix with the heavy cream!

However, chicken breast gets dry when cooked a long time and stringy shredding makes it worse.
😮That biscuit dough 😢was overworked and had too much flour added to it and it absorbed just about all the gravy in the pan.😮
I definitely would not have chosen like most seasoned cooks, chicken breast alone. All seasoned cooks know chicken thighs is the top choice for this dish.
All that flour you added to that biscuit dough was an over kill.
Seasoned cooks know biscuit dough 😮needs a light touch and light dusting of flour added for tender flaky dough which you ended up making tough biscuits.
Although final presentation was beautiful your cooking skills are no where near any seasoned grand mom's chicken pot pies to bragg that yours is better. 😂😂 Humble pie in order.
That was not chicken pot pie. It was biscuits on top of gravy with dry chicken bread.
