Amazing shop. CNC is a game changer, even for small shops/garage diy. Thanks for taking the time to show it off.

Nice Shop!!!! Some dream equipment in there for sure, but not for the average hobbyist/enthusiast.
BTW, I recommend some external mic's for you and your guests. Would be much easier to hear you.

Is it my lying eyes or are they using a rosette cutter to surface slabs on that cnc router?

This is what happens when you destroy a hobby by turning it into a business. One day it’ll be automated with robots doing all the fun stuff.

Couldn't of said it any better without trying to sound gate keeping of the hobby/career path. CNC itself has destroyed a once desired outcome, such as dovetails. It's almost impossible to tell the difference now. The mass production of a hobby just to turn a profit. The machines themselves are designed to just put out as much product as possible. This shop is obviously very well run but it's IMO not a woodworking shop. It's a mass produced shop for fad items and to try to earn as much as possible.

It is amazing how many people fear change. If you have ever used a cab program or watch someone who it is skilled in computer drafting That is just as much of an art as making all of your drawers and furniture by hand. There will always be a demand for someone that wants furniture made by hand and that will be the people who have too much money and a person who has all day to make a handful of drawers.
