The appearance of the grain pattern is significant as it determines the wood's distinctive character, strength, and suitability for various applications.. It's important to carefully display the grain pattern to us.
Really good observation! Suuuuper twisty! Some the slabs had a 45 degree grain orientation. It looked cool. This log must’ve been ancient. It was super seasoned. Somebody had been sitting on this thing for a while. It sawed really easy, grain looked good, pretty dark.. will definitely be a dramatic deepcolored lumber when finished.
