I hate two at a time. I love to make 1 at a time on 24 inch size 2US needle. It is SO great that there are many options.

👋🏽 Nicole - I had to laugh a bit during this one. I hate magic loop as well - so many cords and at some points I have no idea what’s happening 😂 - I do love the idea of two at a time sweater sleeves but…no. Your garter stitch scarf will be so comfy and warm - I’m making Ozetta’s Winter Tales shawl and it’s the same - an easy comforting garter stitch project that can go on as long as the 🧶 does. I really like her patterns - have you browsed through them, they are so lovely. Thanks for the episode and have a great weekend!

I'm with you on magic loop. I used it to finish off a couple beanies and started a sleeve on a baby cardigan. So while not two at a time, even one at a time was to much for me. I tried a 32" and 40" cable and just maintaining acceptable tension between the looped end and the needle/cable was just.. woo.. aggravating. So I experimented with DPN's and I liked that method, but my hands just can't handle holding 4-5 needles. So now I'm trying flexible DPN's (learned from Kaye's sock tutorials) and it's working pretty well.
Anyways, that's a really long way of saying I really enjoyed hearing how magic loop went for you, and I like that with knitting there's several ways to accomplish the same outcome with enough patience and practice and tools.

Reuben! Yes!! I seriously would never knit socks again if I had to knit them magic loop😂 So thank God for all the options! 🙌

I tried magic loop recently and wrote in ravelry that it wasn't such a big deal but what was the issue was my tension it was also my first time doing colorwork and second time making socks but i only finished one and it was too small due to my tension with the colorwork. What I liked about magic loop was realizing i could use any of my needles and not have to wait to order 9-inch circulars since every sock seems to be needing a different size.

Oh I love your finished pair of socks for your daughter, perfect color! For me, thumbs down on magic loop, did not like it at all either and use DPNs or two 16” circulars. The colors in the Vintage Flannel yarn screams fall and perfect for socks. Congratulations to the winners. As always love your vlog Nikol.

Hi Nikol, ❤️ your video today, I have to comment on your beautiful complexion, you must have awesome genes or what is your secret, your yarns you showed today are beautiful fall colors, I got inspiration from you today to knit scarfs for Christmas, maybe faster than socks, Have a wonderful day 😀 hugs

Wow, thank you, Kimberly! That actually means so much to me because I struggled with really awful hormonal acne in my early 20’s. My face cleared up tremendously when I went to mostly Whole Foods and plant based. I’m transitioning to more animal products for other health reasons so time will tell if my face reacts. But thank you so much for your comment…you made my day!🥰
And YES! I think scarves are a great gift, and QUICK! 🙌
