If everything was working fine before you installed the new RAM, then it's the problem with your new RAM either it's faulty or as you said it's not seating properly, open the laptop and check it again.

This laptop can support without any issues 2x16GB Sodimm RAM, for 2x32GB I am not 100% sure that should be checked with manufacturer, but I am 90% something sure it can do 64GB of RAM as well.

No, it is your right to upgrade RAM or SSDs that's why Acer provides you with 2.5" SSD/HDD adapter in the laptop's box. Also there aren't any stickers on screws or anywhere on the bottom cover. You can upgrade and warranty is still valid.
I read the warranty booklet that comes with the laptop and it doesnt say anything about that. You can read it too, it lasts about 2 pages only not much
Hello, watch the video to see how to open the bottom cover, then you need a soft brush and a can of compressed air. Even just with a soft brush (the wall painting one just new - unused is good) is enough to nicely clean the laptop.

Try removing the RAM putting it back again and try powering on again, if it is still not powering on probably the RAM you are trying to add is faulty or not compatible.

Check the specs on the Acer website for your exact model, use serial number of your laptop. 32Gb can accept 100% sure, for 64Gb, I am 90% sure it can as well, but I can't guarantee.

@Alkib Tech so i installed 2TB samsung 980 pro that comes with heatsink in my laptop, just the same AN517-54 that you showed us in this video. But the heatsink made my laptop a bit bulgy on the SSD side after closing and putting the screws. And removing the samsung SSD heatsink voids the warranty. Will i run into any problems in the future as a result of the bulginess the heatsink made my laptop to look like. or should i remove the preinstalled heatsink and void the SSD warranty. Everything is working fine so far since i installed it
Also i had to remove the thermal pads for the second SSD placed at the cover of the laptop to accomodate the Samsung Heatsink, but its still appears a bit bulgy... Note that the bulginess is hardly noticeable. But i feel kind of worried. will i run into any problems in the future as a result of the slight bulginess?
It shouldn't be bulgy, once you close the laptop it should be as before, so obviously that Samsung heatsink is in the way of bottom cover closing properly. This can create the problem as the Samsung M.2 SSD is always under the physical pressure and force from the bottom cover and the other way around as well. I suppose you can remove the heatsink and return it later without being noticed if need arises. And that Samsung with heatsink that you got is more for Desktop PC and consoles than for laptop, because of large heatsink.

Hello, yes, that's correct on the left side using the adapter that came with your laptop in the box you can add 2.5" HDD/SSD and on the right side another M.2 2280.
This is obviously one model of Nitro, but hey are all if not the same pretty similar. Even if they are different sizes for example 15.6" vs 17" model they are either same or similar for upgrades.
@@hoyamana Shouldn't be different with upgrade options, first open the laptop bottom cover and see what upgrade options there are for HDD/SSD and m.2 SSD.
You should install the M.2 ssd the way it comes from the package, no need for additional heatsinks or anything else. Install SSDs and close the laptop, do not add any aditional thermal pads. 🙂

On Nitro 5, you can open just one side and try pulling it off, I went from all sides as this was was my first opening of Nitro 5, and this usually works with all laptops. Just do everything gently and carefully and shouldn't be any issues.
It is extremely wrong to open the bottom cover in this way because the apparatus it uses damages the device and leaves a scratch mark. There is no need because immediately after removing all the screws, grab the bottom cover from the left side and pull it up slowly and you will see that it comes out smoothly.
You are talking about Nitro 5, or generally about all the laptops? Since I've opened probably at least 1000 laptops or more. And what will leave a scratch mark, a carefully used plastic prying tool? 😅

As, long as you have enough slots where to put additional SSD or HDD it doesn't matter, you can keep the old one in.
You have another m.2 slot you can add any amount of storage the ssd holds to any of them.

It’s just a safety precaution. One dropped screw could short out your motherboard ☠️.

You can put any capacity available, 2tb, probably even 4tb.

2TB SSD or HDD isn't a problem it supports, probably can support even higher capacity SSDs.

Only if you have old type HDD, because SSDs and M.2 NVMEs are much faster. Otherwise you don't need to it's not necessary.

On 2021 model is Gen 3 on 2022 model should be Gen 4, unfortunately Acer didn't point out these in any official specs.
