Everytime you pop one of your dolls in to help it always gets a big smile and a chuckle. So charming! The video with your lovely daughter making the landscaping had me laugh out loud when she said "Heeeeeyyyyyyy!" to Mary Dibbs mowing up her messy lawn!
WOWOW! I LaLaLalove this! I went out shopping to get the jount compound & I'm getting ready to apply it! You did Such a FANTASTIC Job on this that I just had to try it. 😊 Although I make 1:24 scale, I'll just make the stones a bit smaller. 😁 Oooh how I wish I could post a picture of it when I'm done! 🥺 I'll letcha know how it comes out. 😊 Ofcourse I subscribed! You, Sweet Lady, Are Awesome! 🤩
Thank you so much for this! Doing this for my mini witch cottage today, I’ve been searching for a way to do floors on a pre-built house around the stairs, this is perfect!
Your stone floor is very realistic looking. It looks like stone and I like this a lot better than using gravel as an outside sidewalk. And also I would rather have a rustic stone floor more than a popsicle wood floor. Do you have any tutorials on how to make the wood stick floor look more reaslistic like you did this? Hugs from Arizona...;)
Thanks, Cheryl! I agree, joint compound makes a very realistic sidewalk. I do plan to do the upstairs floor with popsicle sticks, probably in a couple of weeks.
Been looking for just the right floor for my dollhouse reno and this is it!! I make all of my floors float... what do you recommend to use as a base? I typically use a recycled cereal box but not sure if compound would stick?
One of my favourite parts of being a dirty, grim wargamer is sharing space with happy, bright doll enthusiasts.
Awesome video, thanks
Joint compound is a really good idea. Thanks for the video.

Angie I love your videos! If you’ve ever done a limestone finish for the exterior walls of a house, I would greatly appreciate a tutorial ❤️

I tried this.... and wiped it off.. you are amazing. I am going to try again.
Yes, keep trying until you're happy with the results; I find it helpful to look at a photo of a real floor first. Let me know how it comes out.
I was like "nope" and wiped it.. lol.. I will share when I get it right. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge!
Amazing!
You're pretty Awesome!
Thank you this was amazing .....❤️
Thanks☺
This is great thank you, can this technique be used on walls?
You're welcome! Yes, you can apply this to walls.
angieaug thank you. Xx

Wow!
Beautiful! Do you think wood filler could be used in the same way?
I'm not sure, I haven't used it. If it dries like joint compound and has the same consistency (like cake frosting) it might work.
@@angieaug Hmmm I guess it's similar to cake frosting. I have never used joint compound so am not sure if it dries the same necessarily
I would test it on a scrap piece of wood or something to see how well it takes paint and if I can carve it easily.
@@angieaug I was thinking about doing that today 😁 Thanks! Fingers crossed!
🤞
Oh thank you so much! I am saved. Haha 😅
Would poly filler instead of joint compound do the same thing?
@@joannewalden1701 I’ve never used poly filler, so I’m not sure.
Can i use white cement opposite drydex
I've only used joint compound so I don't know what kind of results you would get.
Do you have a website? You really should. You could sell these for (at least) 500 each.
