People who couldnt see Klay's on/off court toxicity last year are blind AF. It was so overt, he couldnt even contain it during locker room interviews. It is kinda similar to the 2015 warriors, strength in numbers and great depth around their star. I did not expect them to be this good this year, them warriors wont go away till currys done lol
2015 GSW had 3 all star level players and a DPOY candidate level center, three 6th MOTY level players and a recent all star coming off the bench. This team doesnt hold a candle to 2015. This is like the 2018 cavs with Steph and Draymond acting and Lebron and love
Championship Wiggins coming back is probably the best thing to happen to the Dubs this season. Hopefully whatever stuff that's been messing with him is over.
Unfortunately, yeah. I'll still root for him when he isn't playing the Warriors, but the new CBA made it impossible to keep him even if they'd wanted to. Klay's injuries would have had to have never happened for the team to even consider keeping him, given the penalties & how hamstrung the roster would've been.
It was only one game where Klay took more shots than Kyrie. In his first game back at golden state I wouldn’t complain about him putting up more shots that normal
What's interesting to me is how Steph has changed his shot selection over the years. On Mark Jackson's Warriors, one of the few good things he did was let his guys shoot as many 3s as they want, no limit, which was good, but the problem was he was giving them the green light to shoot ANY shot, not just 3s, which in that era meant a ton of long 2s as well. When Kerr showed up, that was nixed, and those long 2s became either 3s or cuts to the rim, and it is honestly underrated how valuable Steph was at the time in that era. He used that unprecedented gravity and spacing to just cut the other way and get freebies at the rim, and that was a huge part of his scoring. Now though, as he's gotten older, he's been cutting down on rim cuts every year, and trading them in for more 3s to maintain his volume. He's not a better scorer than he was in 2016, but as a pure shooter, he's never been better. I once thought that by now we'd be seeing Curry clones that grew up watching him play and copied his ultra-fast one-motion shot, but that hasn't happened and never will. GSW has the young talent around their still-great vets, and they have a chance to make that run.
My Warriors w/ KD were not hitting 3's like they are this year cuz KD is arguably the greatest mid-range assasin... ever. So that's where so many of our buckets came from.
They were right about him? Oh. Of course they know he's a head case and can be helped to screw himself into the ground. That he's aging and has injuries that are either beginning to plague him and force him to be careful. They know he's not likely to last in any market bigger than he landed in. They know that he needs to be patted on the ass and constantly reminded he is loved and that he has to have the crusts cut off his PB&J's. He's nuts and he gets Anxiety attacks. But they aren't going to have to screw with his head to beat him.
You can’t just look at the raw number of shots, shot quality and openness matters too. GSW was leaving Klay open, so it’s catch and shoot. Different story if Klay has to dribble or force shots.
Steph’s ankles better not disappoint me cuz I’m so hyped about him getting another ring! That would be too much to handle. The GOAT debates between where he and Lebron rank would get very interesting. I don’t know what Lebron fans would be able to say at that point.
I’ve spent a lot of time rooting against the Warriors but I gotta tip my cap to the organization. The Dubs keep finding ways to stay in the thick of things. It’s so much harder for a top tier team to remain relevant for an extended period than it was in the ‘80s & ‘90s. The Spurs had a 15ish year run of excellence that included several titles. The Warriors took up where they left off.
@@Velveteenvisionas a Mavs fan, Luka has been worse this year. Klay has been pretty fine from what I have seen. I don’t like Gafford or Liveley guarding bigs who can’t shoot on the permiter. @@SinaSoh you might see as okay offensively, but try to look at how Klay can often be ball watching in defense. He hardly does any of those small things for a team to win.
The Warriors were always ahead of the curve. This is how to survive in the new NBA with the new 2nd apron tier rules. It's strength in numbers now. A 12 man deep roster to counter the reality of wear and tear of space and pace basketball. No more spending money on super big 3's. No need for 7 footers on defense when lateral quickness to stop the drive and foot speed to close out on the 3 and defensive rotation is more important than shot blocking at the rim.

Klay left because the Warriors no longer regarded him as the same player he was before he got injured. He was benched in favor of a rookie. He was moody, would pout, and throw temper tantrums in the locker room. He wasn’t even trying to hide his frustration. He made it a point to show how unhappy he was. Klay thought he was still the same player after recovering and returning from his injuries and he wanted to prove that he was worth more than the 2-year $48 million contract he was offered, but the Warriors felt otherwise. This caused him to feel alienated. Honestly, Klay already had his foot out the door before last season ended. It’s better that both sides went their separate ways. The Warriors have given themselves a chance to possibly compete for a fifth championship and Klay has given himself a chance to reinvent himself and start fresh on a new team. It’s a shame that the Splash Brothers era had to end the way it did, but I have no doubt Klay will be honored the same way Steph and Draymond will be when they finally retire and hang it up for good.
bro Green is fkn beast on this game and Curry went in the zone.. amazing play! Im dallas but Luka got bad decisions and situations, they had a chance but warriors got in the bag.
"Moving on" (even from KT) 1:38 is part of the GSW culture, like "Strength in Numbers", "Death Lineup ver. 1 & 2", etc. I That is, GSW moved on from Andrew Bogut, David Lee, Harrison Barnes, Kevin Durant, Jordan Poole, Javale McGee .. (man, even from Andrei Iguodala), etc etc We love you KT. Thanks for the memories.
It breaks my heart to see Klay wearing another jersey, but it was the right move for everyone. Klay wasn’t happy in GS, and the lesson of last years playoffs was stacking aging veterans was not a key to success. Seems like Klay is getting the role he wants in Dallas, and the Dubs new strength in numbers philosophy is paying off, especially considering all the injuries to key players on other teams. This team is built to withstand multiple injuries. I wish Klay all the best, but their lack of defense in their big 3 and lack of depth could bite them come playoff time.
Another stat that is vital for a good team: minute spread. And I do not mean garbage time that allows some team to show 10 man rotation. In many cases GSW had multiple backup players playing 10+ minutes. It's the anti Tom Thibodeau strategy. Being able to utilize many players in rotation is a key for a healthy team and being versatile against many opponent's lineups. Freak injuries still can happen, but this is someting you can't avoid - it just happens. Comparing healthy teams I still believe Boston has edge over anyone but I cheer for Curry. This would be great for NBA narrative as he, being inhumanly athletic, looks more like regular Joe than physical freaks like KD, Giannis or LBJ.
Difference between Steph and Klay. When Steph came off the bench, the man did it with a smile and when he checked into games, he proceeded to torch everyone. He didn’t care when he came in, so long as get got to compete. Klay moped around all last year because he wasn’t starting.
Are you sure? Victor and the whole team of Spurs defeated Warriors last Saturday! They comeback from 17 lead by the warriors in 4th Quarter and won by 10. And they lost again in Rebuilding Nets choking 18 point lead and Thunder they defeated recently. 3 game losing streak they next opponent Suns, Nuggets , Rockets and 2 game against Timberwolves. The Losing streak is not yet over!!!!

Most times I would agree with you, but not this time. Curry “took it personal” when Klay ghosted him the night before the game. After Curry hit the night night, he yelled at the camera “You better stay here!” which was directed at Klay for leaving.

Blamed his worst 2 year stretch on the franchise, complains about not getting an extension, complains about not starting then when they offer him money which was more then his production, he turns it down, joins a team we possibly might see in the playoffs, changes his jersey to 31 and still has walks around like we owe him even though he left….. he chose to turn down money which is fine you are your own man but him disrespecting the franchise and Steph is crazy work
You can't give up Steph because he's your offense. Can't give up Draymond because he's your defense. Klay fits in both the offense and defense but he's not nearly as indispensable as the other two. If anyone was gonna have to go, it'd be Klay.
@@AR-rn8ok I didn't say he had to go. I'm saying if anyone was going to, it'd be Klay. I think the Warriors would put far more effort in trying to keep Steph and Draymond than they would Klay.

i agree, but i think dallas is not that far away from something interesting this year. Luka doesn't seems to be as fired up as i though he would after last year.
I think the real story is that it was a freaking AWESOME basketball game to watch. So many great plays, so many great players who are actually willing to work together and not play hero ball. It was a genuine treat.
There was never a LeBron vs Jordan debate on the GOAT, because LeBron hasn't surpassed Steph Curry, nor Kobe Bryant. Curry's beat LeBron 3 times out of 4 finals, which automatically means Curry is better. The 1 time LeBron won went to game 7 (that never happened to Jordan). Curry has more impact on his team at his age than LeBron. Curry is primed for his 5th Championship, whereas LeBron is busy playing nepotism games in LA for his son that most consider not even G-League caliber. I'm not mad at Bronny Jr, but I hope he understands the only reason he was in a Lakers' uniform is because of his father.
klay has the highest net swing on dallas, he's got the best defensive metrics on their team, and ever single season he starts out shooting the ball eh and then gets hot GSW was not right about Klay. Giannis was drafted in 2013. Was Giannis the GM back then? So Giannis entered the league and was like I need Dame? WROOOONG.
The Bucks' recruiter (Ryan Hoover) and Jon Horst (the GM) started recruiting Dame over 10 yrs ago. In fact, in 2021 just months after the Bucks won a championship, the GM was all smile bc "they were going to get Dame). Yup, 2021. Jrue Holiday won a championship in 2021 and the Bucks were talking about getting Dame.
In 2022, Dame went public and said he wanted to play with Giannis. Yes, he actually said that. And remember at that time Jrue Holiday was STILL with the Bucks.
In 2022 all-star I think Giannis picked Dame over Jrue in all-star. In 2023, Dame got traded to Milwaukee. To say that Giannis going out and saying he needed a change was the reason why the Bucks got Dame is just not true. The Dame trade started 10 yrs ago bro. Dame himself said he wanted to play with Giannis. I can prove to everything that I said. The Dame trade was coming regardless.
@No_Hate_Only_Facts can you give me the article?
@@HenryHellman-b3x why not?
@No_Hate_Only_Facts What does that even mean? And will you drop the article or did you just pull that out of your ass
People who couldnt see Klay's on/off court toxicity last year are blind AF. It was so overt, he couldnt even contain it during locker room interviews. Klay seems like a self absorbed person and it's fine during the winning years but true greatness like Steph shines the brightess during times of hardship.
lol yo said true greatness lmao
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
@@tyty0071 so did Klay start becoming a self absorbed player? When he was the best on ball defender for warriors playing Kyrie when Steph couldn’t? Or when Steph was out becoming the second guy with KD. Or when they went on run for there last championship and the man was just a tool plug and play he make shit work? The man is a 4 time champion that put his body on the line for the organization. He became selfish when they had him on team wear he needed be the second leading scorer and he never was that. He was the plug and play guy that made shit easy for Steph. He became a dick when you got him sitting on the bench because he was off. But yet now he on Dallas and he back to being a bucket. Back to being happy. Not a dick . It’s your work space my guy? As you get older you will realize that some places will shit on you no matter what you sacrificed in the end of the day. You tear your MCL ACL and Achilles and be benched after helping winning a championship. And say you wouldn’t be pissed is bull shit knowing there a team that will use me for my best ability as starter
@@bigbabbyist It's pretty fucking obvious bro's trying to prioritize his legacy and preserving his individual status than embracing the fact that he's not the same caliber player he once was.
He’s also pretty moody at the Mavs as well. Its rubbing off on the team
Well done Warriors because you finally built a good enough roster around Steph that is good enough to win games and deep enough where they don’t have to depend on Steph too much
That is if they get to the Playoffs and Advance to the Finals. The Western Conference can get WILD!
And we won games without him
@@TheMesa22well they are currently the 2nd in the west with the best defense. Can’t say the same for the Mavs

@@TheMesa22 indeed so hopefully if they can get past the playin then they will cause chaos
It is kinda similar to the 2015 warriors, strength in numbers and great depth around their star. I did not expect them to be this good this year, them warriors wont go away till currys done lol
They put together a solid roster for sure, but I think Steph is still riding his wave from the Olympics too. This is going to be a fun season
I didn't expect them to be that bad last season, especially at home. I'm not scared this year because they're not scared
2015 GSW had 3 all star level players and a DPOY candidate level center, three 6th MOTY level players and a recent all star coming off the bench. This team doesnt hold a candle to 2015. This is like the 2018 cavs with Steph and Draymond acting and Lebron and love
The vibe in here is everything!
Championship Wiggins coming back is probably the best thing to happen to the Dubs this season. Hopefully whatever stuff that's been messing with him is over.
Love Klay but I’m happy we moved on
You guys are lucky you don’t have to deal with him
Right... More than his struggles on the court, I think what affected the team more was his negativity......
Same
It was only one game where Klay took more shots than Kyrie. In his first game back at golden state I wouldn’t complain about him putting up more shots that normal
Yeah but Kyrie doesn’t get as many as he should now. It doesn’t make sense to have the 3 main scorers in the starting line up together.
shooters get hot y taking more shots. i think klay needs to take bench's shots cuz they aint doing well lel

We don't particularly have a 2nd scoring option, but what we have are multiple scoring options 💙💛
😂😂😂the crusts cut off his PB&J sandwiches
Exactly, you’re 💯 correct. Klay is mentally unstable. I think he needs medication 💊 seriously.
this comment go me dead 😂😂
All in his feelings. Yes.
Klay was been petty! I can't believe he choose Lucas and Irving over Steph and Dray! 🤦🤦🤦😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
Great Video Casey
Steph is literally one of a kind and the Dubs ballin rn and good call on the Buddy Hield not on the court at that moment 🎯
Let’s go Warriors!💙💛🖤🧡🤍❤️
#StrengthInNumbers #RoadWarriors #WarriorsGround
You can’t just look at the raw number of shots, shot quality and openness matters too. GSW was leaving Klay open, so it’s catch and shoot. Different story if Klay has to dribble or force shots.
Great video per usual Casey!!
I feel very bad for Klay and he should file a lawsuit against Danny Green for ruining his career
The Dubs will be fine. Chuck was saying they’re not gonna sustain this level of play. As long as he’s hating we’ll be good.
0:37 dude I know I'm laye but those voice cracks cracked me up lol
If Warriors get another all-star caliber player Warriors survive 2025 WEST PLAYOFFS 💯
I will say this now, I hope the warriors win the championship this year and I’m saying this as a Nets fan
Klay had a way better game than I expected him too im ngl I thought it was gonna be klay chucking up hella bricks
His only good game. He has cost the Mavs many losses so far and he’s super moody when he misses. Vibe killer
I still love Klay Thompson on Dallas Mavericks as a Golden state warriors fan
WE LOVE UNDERDOG ADS 🎉🎉🎉
this is 'strength in numbers'
I really hope this series happens in the playoffs
Great Video!
Im waiting for hoops to upload an apology video to wemby🤣
Agree! Victor and the whole team of Spurs defeated Warriors last Saturday! They comeback from 17 lead by the warriors in 4th Quarter and won by 10.
Warriors better without Klay
My team, the Mavs are way worse with Klay. But I’m happy you guys are free of him
@ mavs was better last year
@@Velveteenvisionas a Mavs fan, Luka has been worse this year. Klay has been pretty fine from what I have seen. I don’t like Gafford or Liveley guarding bigs who can’t shoot on the permiter. Liveley being out and having to play Dwight Powell at the 5 hurt.
Kyrie is our best player, Luka does look a little off. We should start playing better situational basketball. Also I wanted to see how Naji Marshall did vs Draymond. Draymond killed him yesterday but I still love what Marshall could provide.
@@SinaSoh you might see as okay offensively, but try to look at how Klay can often be ball watching in defense. He hardly does any of those small things for a team to win.

as long as Wiggins stay focused and Hield and the bench hold up. I think they can do a deep run this year probably can do finals too
Why does Luka get a pass for not being in a better position? Luka got whipped
Another big story in this Warriors’ success so far is Draymond Green. Big man I baling hard, stellar defense and lighting it up from downtown
Let them win a title in the second apron era first. They are looking good though
@@alexescutia4805 the Warriors aren't a 2nd apron team though. The Warriors are hard capped at the 1st apron because of the draft night trade.
@@lukasjacob3721 they don’t have to be a second apron team he saying they’re showing how to do it in the second apron era not that they’re a second apron team
@@alexescutia4805 I know, but I was trying to say, it is even more impressing to see what the Warriors were able to do while being hard capped at the 1st apron while most other top teams are in the 2nd apron.
Imagine another Warriors v. Cavs Finals
Dont forget to point out Lukas zero points in the 4th, he only took 2 shots and that was at the end.
yes that's the best decision the warriors made, no more cry baby on the bench, now I'm a warriors fan
Curry pointing at himself, "Yes you are my borther, but I am the Splash!"
As a warriors fan, I’m glad that we didn’t get star but a bunch of role players that fit Steve’s coaching.
The Mavs should’ve done the same. Getting another “star” was a stupid mistake
bro Green is fkn beast on this game and Curry went in the zone.. amazing play! Im dallas but Luka got bad decisions and situations, they had a chance but warriors got in the bag.
I’m glad the ads got the meter at the bottom from red to green. i skip the ad everytime 😅
"Moving on" (even from KT) 1:38 is part of the GSW culture, like "Strength in Numbers", "Death Lineup ver. 1 & 2", etc. I
That is, GSW moved on from Andrew Bogut, David Lee, Harrison Barnes, Kevin Durant, Jordan Poole, Javale McGee .. (man, even from Andrei Iguodala), etc etc
We love you KT. Thanks for the memories.
Klay could become the next Chris Paul without the upside.
Steve is very insightful an wise ❤
Nice sponsor mr gAMble HOOPS

Are you sure? Victor and the whole team of Spurs defeated Warriors last Saturday! They comeback from 17 lead by the warriors in 4th Quarter and won by 10. And they lost again in Rebuilding Nets choking 18 point lead and Thunder they defeated recently. 3 game losing streak they next opponent Suns, Nuggets , Rockets and 2 game against Timberwolves. The Losing streak is not yet over!!!!
I’m with klay! Guy gave it his all when they lost to the raptors . And he was never treated the same after the injury
Warriors wont go away until Steph retires. As long as he is there, the front office will ensure the Warriors extend his prime
How long do you think the cavs will go on the undefeated for?
The W's playing 12 deep will keep everyone fresher throughout the entire season, especially the stars, and will likely have less injuries as a result
It's weird how Wiggins just disappears sometimes. When he disappears it's for weeks or months at a time its not like a j.r. Smith who will be hot or cold nightly, Wiggins just straight up disappears for long stretches of time lol.
Longtime Warriors fan in East Bay…loved the Swish Bros dearly but Klay is a shadow of his past and lost whole lot of speed and agility from injuries…no way he could play in this new potent Warriors format…but bless his soul, the dud WAS great!

Storylines are important to ratings lmfao as sad as it is it rakes in the money so the media will do whatever it takes
Most times I would agree with you, but not this time. Curry “took it personal” when Klay ghosted him the night before the game. After Curry hit the night night, he yelled at the camera “You better stay here!” which was directed at Klay for leaving.

Can you make a Video on the hornets? For years it has looked as if they were not making any progress or I mean they don’t do
You can't give up Steph because he's your offense. Can't give up Draymond because he's your defense. Klay fits in both the offense and defense but he's not nearly as indispensable as the other two. If anyone was gonna have to go, it'd be Klay.
He didn’t have to go. He just wanted to join kyrie and beat them. There was some drama here.
@@AR-rn8ok I didn't say he had to go. I'm saying if anyone was going to, it'd be Klay. I think the Warriors would put far more effort in trying to keep Steph and Draymond than they would Klay.
@@carteljameson8395 maybe they put more effort into Steph. But how sensitive and a diva does Klay have to be to get mad that after he rejected their offer, and with new cap rules, they waited until they finished negotiating open market trades before they called klay to set up his offer? If that hurt him so much he decided to bounce and play for less money in Dallas…… that’s weak.
i agree, but i think dallas is not that far away from something interesting this year. Luka doesn't seems to be as fired up as i though he would after last year.
Bro, one game, it was close, and Klay played well.

I'm not mad at Bronny Jr, but I hope he understands the only reason he was in a Lakers' uniform is because of his father.
klay has the highest net swing on dallas, he's got the best defensive metrics on their team, and ever single season he starts out shooting the ball eh and then gets hot
GSW was not right about Klay. People trying to connect GSW playing better to not having Klay are so off the mark. They dont have CP3 killing their pace and size. They dont have Saric as their rim protector. Wiggins is actually giving a shit. Draymond has not been suspended or blowing up the locker room.
