As a Celtics fan I absolutely hated watching Curry slice up my team on the biggest stage, however the pure awe that filled me watching him make the most incredible and smooth plays against a defense that was completely designed around stopping him was miraculous. Even calling it that is an understatement. He IS the Warriors and you cannot have a top 10 all-time list without him.

I’m not a warriors fan by any stretch, but this years warriors team had to be one of my favorite teams of the last decade. It was a near perfect mix of great young talent and stellar veteran players.
I’m for boston. And I agree. The final back to back to back win from game 4 were all solid boston stoppage.

I believe the greatest move he made was getting Wiggins to the level he’s at. We all knew Wiggins had talent but we weren’t sure if he’d put it together. The Warriors culture did an amazing job with the young man.

I wasn't really into basketball, football(soccer) fan, but cause of Steph, I've become a warriors fan. That dude is phenomenal. He does things that makes you question how good one can truly get just by refining their craft.

But I have to say what Steph Curry has been doing since 2015 has slowly brought my attention towards watching the NBA. This next season I will definitely be watching it.

People seem to have a hard time wrapping their heads around the idea of teamwork beating superstardom. This playoffs exemplified that! The Celtics teamwork got them past so many superstars and to the finals. The Warriors did the same and won.
Home grown talent and team cohesion is powerful. When everyone feels like they are a part of it and are valued, they work together better and win more.

I think Steve Kerr deserves a ton of credit as well. Guys just a winner it's crazy everywhere he goes he just wins. Yup, I was really only rooting for HIM. I had Wiggins as my finals MVP. Klay and Steph have 3 rings. We know what to expect from them. But Wiggins? He is a washed-up never-was joke of a player. right? I always felt he was wasting away on the Wolves and wanted to see him shine. I am so happy for Wiggins actually being put in the CORRECT role. He was so pivotal throughout the entire playoffs. During the interviews, right after the trophy presentation, I was clapping for Wigging and only him. What a rough journey he has been on

Flip Saunders had a vision of Kat, Wiggs, and Lavine and he was right, Wiggs could have easily moved into the role he has with the Warriors with Lavine and Kat as the 1st and 2nd look... RIP Flip.

I started watching BB again as the lockdowns started. The Dubs were broken and somehow the team I picked to follow. I'd missed the golden years. But broken or not this was the team for me. The next two years, set backs and all, just made me want to see them win again. Watching them get back up from being rock bottom was a privilege to watch

Klay really inspired me a lot this year. He came off two season ending injuries and his first year back he's a champion. Wiggins has an incredible story as well. He finally found his place to shine.

This year he really came into his own and was able to step up when he was needed along with being a leading scorer for some games. I’m not even really a gsw fan but I think that this was their best championship run overall. To be fair, Russell Westbrook made the triple double a common thing. That's changing the game. But he's obviously not top 10, or on the same level as curry for that matter. Take Allen Iverson, he changed the cake of ball handling. A player like Jokic changing the game for big men becoming playmakers in the future. These other things players aren't top 10 (as good as Jokic is, he won't be top 10 at the end of his career). Goes to show how great the top 10 really is. This might’ve been the most impressive finals for the warriors just based on what happened the past 3 years. Great to see steph finally get the FMVP and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them back again next season. To add to what you mentioned, steph was an injury prone guard who was almost traded to the wolves but nobody wanted him. Wasn't great off the bat like lebron and clawed his way up to what he is now. Stephen curry, so inspirational.

Steph Curry is one of the most underrated players of all time. When there are people who actually take themselves seriously and do not place him in the top 5 of best players ever, then he's underrated. He completely changed the game of basketball.... so much, that in 2024 literally ALL 30 teams in the league play the style of basketball that the Warriors played 10 years ago, less or more. It would not have been possible for KD to shine in 2017 and 2018 if Steph wasn't double manned in every game for most of it. He almost single handedly destroyed the Celtics in 2022, one of the best teams of the last 10 years. He made the Warriors a contender back in 2014 after they were a perennial third tier team. And he has broken all these records. Regardless of what other narratives people try to push, we are living in the Steph Curry era since 2014.
Just look at the graph of attempted threes per game and you'll get chills: ALL teams are shooting more threes after Curry's rise to prominence. Steph has literally changed the game!
He deserves to be on the top 10 list, not just because of his impact on the Warriors but also the NBA as whole

Watching steph reminds me of watching mj back in the 90s... there was this excitement when he gets the ball, whats he gonna do, also this charisma - everyone wants him to win. And of course, greatness, just the mastery and how the make truly difficult things look so damn easy
