Welcome to Turkey. I constantly follow you and watch your videos fondly. For the first time I saw a test video of yours with a Turkish plate and I was very happy. I wish you health success for your labor. Thank you Thomas 😊👏👍🧿
EXCELENT review, you must be the first tester I have seen who said the logical thing that folks should buy what they like, most testers are trying to force there opinion and not just review :)
The bag hanger in the rear seat is one really awesome feature! I have a wagon - but I still tend to put my grocerys on the floor behind the drivers seat.
A short beard, Turkish plates.... This is not Thomas, this is his brother Tolga in füll HD, tam ekran ve tam uzunluk, haydi başlayalım! Love the review BTW!
Best review, Thomas. I am loving the comedy sprinkled in the video. I like how you are doing some manual labour on this rugged vehicle and looking rugged (in a good way) with that facial hair, lol. 😂 Only _Autogefühl_ can have me watch a [long] video with a Toyota as its focus, lol. That is impressive. Best review. Cool vehicle.
I kinda like the revamped Hilux. They did a lot of work this time around to deliver and exceptional product (performance upgrades, handling and ride upgrades, infortainment upgrade, cosmetic styling and some safety upgrades). I am impressed I must say but not enough to abandon my one true love, Ford Ranger.
Beware of Corrosion issues with Toyota trucks made from 2005 on. Toyota only give a 7 year ant-corrosion warranty for a reason, many competitors give twice that.
Hi Thomas, Great review, I checked both dutch and german toyota site and what I noticed is that they both undressed the invincible pack. I guess toyota has defeated her clients with the lettering, sportsbar and loading cover with what I think will be the same price.

Thank you Thomas, for yet another great video, been following you for a while, and really enjoy your show. However, in this video you seem a bit “tired” - hope you are doing well:) regards..
I like the grill, however it looks like they did a lot of cost cutting when they decided to put in the plastic cover in the center of the front bumper below the grill to mimic a large, rugged looking grill. I think that they should have just cut the grill above the front bumper and made the bumper a singe assembly
@@universalexports6119 also the Tacoma is a bit bigger but the Tacoma weirdly can't tow as much as the Hilux and the Hilux has like double the payload as well.
I hate the way pick up manufacturers don’t add locking diffs anymore and they tailor their trucks more towards townies. No point in having a low box if you can’t lock the diffs. Sad panda.
Unfortunately, Toyota tried very hard to make Hilux sporty and I would say they are not as successful as Ford Ranger Wildtrak or Raptor. Those two are absolutely nice in term of design as well as driving characteristics.
I never get, what you need an extra camera guy for. Your videos without one are almost exactly the same...except for the few camera pan shots and that the seat next to you is not empty! ;)
They ruined it by making it only automatic while the lower versions of the Hilux has manual. Why couldn't they keep a manual version for the Invencible?
Depends on market maybe, Manual gearbox with 2.8 204ps engine is available here in UK Torque is lowered from 500nm peak but spread through wider rev range I drove both back to back, and for me, I prefer the feel of the manual
2.8 litres is high for a 4-cylinder engine, right? Do high-displacement 4-cylinder engines provide peak-torque at lower revs, than say, a similar sized (displacement) 6-cylinder engine?
The front is so similar to the Ford Ranger Raptor. On the other hand I never understood what can be high luxury in a pick-up car. Honestly. Hicruz or High Cruiser whould have been a more inspired name. Anyway, good job Toyota! This version looks better than a regular Hilux.
@@needleontherecord They're regarded as the best value ute, a top model Mitsubishi is like $15k cheaper than a Hilux and they're arguably better as well. They have a 10 year, 160k powertrain warranty here too. No one else is doing that.
I'm not sure why anyone would pay double for a higher spec for a vehicle like this that is very popular with farmers etc. After all, you wouldn't pay for premium packs on a combine harvester?
You'd be surprised, here in NZ everyone buys the highest model utes, mainly through a tax loophole. It's for bragging rights too. I think Australia is similar. I prefer the lower models without the extras, and the easily cleaned vinyl floor.

Hi from Bulgaria, I would really like to see a comparison video between Toyota Hilux 2021 and Isuzu D-Max 2021! You rock!
I'm still struggling with 2.4 vs 2.8 Liter diesel... and PreRunner vs lower clearance model. I do not plan off-roading and no towing.
Thomas with the beard be looking like Superman after he has retired and decided to just chill on his farm. 😎
hehe =)
Nice vid as always, I would love to see the new Isuzu Dmax being reviewed as a close compatidor to the hilux, if I may do a request.
It is incongruous to see a work truck/hauler loaded with superfluous decorations.

Cuz nothing says "off-road" quite like mudflaps, sidesteps, and small tires Toyota.
Anywho great review as always Tomas!
Small tires are better for send driving and snow
Nice! I love pick up truck reviews, hopefully you can review the 2021 Nissan Navara when it comes out.
Hot damn, Thomas lookin ruggedly handsome with that 5 o’clock shadow.
Thomas is a more sophisticated and handsome version of Doug.
Does anyone know what is the purpose of that grey color cutout on top of the wheel arches? Are they functional or just design?
Why on Earth are there still traditional light bulbs in the rear and halogen in the front? Whyyy
Will it do 2 wheels while moose testing? I hope they didn't forget how badly they screwed up a few years ago.

Does the conquest and invisible Hilux have a Blind spot monitoring?
Why they compromise on disc brakes 😒

Hilux and Tacoma are complete different models. This is more work oriented than the Tacoma. Also this is best selling truck in the world.
why does this come with 4.0 v6 but Tacoma comes with the 3.5? isn't Tacoma bigger?
They're about the same size but this is built for true work whilst the taco is for very light work.
