Haha we ended up with the same two project bikes at the same time. Your RMZ will be much nicer then mine though. When we’re done with our YZ builds it would be awesome to ride them/ do photo shoot of the bikes!

Hey great video!! I have an 05' YZ250 and I went with Pro Circuit's jetting spes off of their website. My bike is spot on with the jetting and it runs great! I got lucky and I managed to get a set of the SSS forks from an 06' YZ250f and they were a direct bolt on! Looking forward to part 2! :)

While your in the transmission put the yz250x gears in it. Rocky Mountain makes a kit that is pretty inexpensive. The production quality of your videos have improved significantly, keep it up!
Get a cycra blue number plate kit or blue stadium number plate and renthal blue bar 7/8 or twin wall boyesen rad valve clutch and water pump and run vp t4 with premix yamahlube 2r oil
I’m building a 1990 cr 125 motor and throwing it inside a 2000 yz 250 rollin chasis. Will it look goofy ? I plan on trying to mount it up as OEM as possible.
hey. so just s tip on exporting. i see that even when the quality says HD, its still kinda chunky. try exporting but ristrict the KBS to 80000 or higher. itll keep it all cleaned up. hope you see this comment itll help with your quality. your videos are fuckin sick.

I got this YZ250 . Go through the gearbox and fork assembly in detail ..... Show what condition the bearings are in.. I wanna see what colour the clutch cover looks like once you clean and paint it. I have seen clutch cover replacement but never a restoration

Sweet a yz! Everyone is getting caught up building those slow CRs. Those hubs are not right, they aren't suppose to have the holes drilled in the sides. If they are after market ok, if they are stock then throw them away. Try not to take a year to build this one. I get it you have to spread it out for content, but it doesn't take that long to clean, rebuild, and add some colored bits. No hate toward ya just advice

I was working full time while doing the Honda so I really only had the weekends to work. I am back in school now so I have more free time to work on the bike!
What kind of price should someone pay for a bike in that condition? Seems like they want a fortune for all bikes here in Arizona no matter what condition. Just a general price range would help me out. Thanks from Tim

On that transmission it's probably your shifting forks that are worn out. That would explain why its hard to shift gears

So whats the vest method you guys use during a teardown to keep track of all of the bolts so you know where they all go?
Bag and tag and then I put all the small bags in a bigger bag by section. Also write little things of the routing for a cable or where each bolt goes.

Why are you fully restoring a perfectly good bike? It just needs some minor repairs. It's a dirt bike not ornament.
