I just bought a hatchback ES last week and just love the thing! I used to drive only V8 cars from the 70s like Camaros and Novas, and still own them, but with gas getting to stupid highs this car is a blessing..... no its not fast, its kinda slow on acceleration once on the freeway, but quick enough in town, but once you are at cruising speed you hit cruise control and then it doesn't matter if its only a 3 cly car, you are on your way to over 50mpg! Plus it handles surprisingly well, is nimble on the street, easy to park and has great visibility. So if you are just looking for basic transportation with great mileage and you dont feel like spending 30 or 40K on some hybrid, you can get one of these at around 18K all day and enjoy that 10 yr , 100,000 mile warranty. Now my muscle cars just sit all day while I take my Mirage everywhere!

It's too bad more people did not embrace these cars, from what I am hearing next year is the last year for the Mirage! so if you want one, buy one quickly!

That's a pretty cool looking little rig!

Good thorough overview. I need a gokart. This could be it. Forums say it's reliable, and I'm glad it's available in manual.

Thank you , I plan on doing a drive review shortly! I found mine to be very reliable, fuel efficient and fun to drive, its not a fast car but moves decently through traffic, for me I drove both, but the manual is much more lively and fun to drive! let me know what you decide!

@@corradettimotorsports360 The hp/torque numbers don't bother me. I'm a chill driver as a result of doing it professionally across a number of jobs. Smoother is faster through lights if you know the timing, and doesn't rock the cargo or equipment around.
Will be thinking about it. Hard to justify a 2nd vehicle just to have a toy, but the price, mileage and warranty are very appealing!

Thanks for the review, we pick up ours in a couple of days. I drive a Triton & we also have a 2000 Magna Executive in the driveway with 340,000km on it. I don't think I'll buy anything but Mitsubishi again.

My pleasure! I would love to see Mitsubishi offer the Triton here in Canada, but it's been so long I dought they will. I loved this and the Chevrolet Spark, but since the news hit that GM is phasing out the Spark after this model year, I will be buying a 2023 Mirage next spring! let me know how you make out with your new Mirage!, would love to hear about it!

@@corradettimotorsports360 It's a great little car. More room inside than you think. Modern & safety concerns are no problem. We're happy. Plus, It's not as slow as a lot of reviews make it out to be. 10 year capped price servicing & 10 year warranty, plus the bonus of the fuel efficiency. $60 Aus to fill it for 700km.

I rented one of these for 8 days recently. I generally liked how easy it was to drive and park. My only complaint was the steering wheel wandered a little at freeway speeds. So I had to maintain an extra tight handling. Other than that it was an interesting car to drive. Maybe I was unaware of the anti-skidding feature and didn't know if it was on or not.

I would love the G4, but Mitsubishi Canada stopped offering the G4 in Canada after the 2019 model year.

@@corradettimotorsports360 Locally, just sound of canada by just miles, there were more G4's that standard Mirage. We went standard when we bought ours just yesterday. I wish I saw this video before I bought, but it would have only solidified the purchase as we like it even though it is not perfect. (Econocar for now, dream car in the future with money saved.)

Worst review ever. You simply list all of the features every single car has. I think you forgot to mention it comes STANDARD with glass windows...

@@corradettimotorsports360 Yeah I'm not trying to be a dick... listing features every car has does not do anybody any good. It would be better to mention is has all the basics, maybe talk a bit about the styling you may like. Test drive talk about power and braking and handling. Don't try to sell a turd... if it does not suck just say it does not suck. This car is about value...

@@jamesbarrick3403 I did not take it as a negative response, it's just business, nothing personal! I do plan on going back and doing a driving review and the attributes of a small entry level car, its pros and cons! The Mirage is not perfect, but it does have a good price point and value for what it is! stay tuned, hope I can earn your subscription one day!

@@jamesbarrick3403 For fuck's sake man. I didn't know the base Chevy Spark had rear roll down windows, but learned it from a vid like this one. Not every car has the same base features. Lay off.

Why does damn near everyone try to bring Mitsubishi down? Always new, new, new, They changed their cars and they still get backlash! It's a very good company that makes reliable no nonsense vehicles. People are so spoiled n bougie.
