❤Thanks for showing all these places which are so familiar to me😊 I was born in The Hague and lived there for 46 years. The city still feels like home and I am there very often. The Hague looks its best on a sunny day, like in today's video. On the third Tuesday in September, the King officially opens the parliamentary year. That happens with a lot of ceremony. All schools in The Hague are then closed. The royal family rides through the center in the Golden Carriage (until 2015) and my mother always took me to wave to Queen Juliana, King Alexander's grandmother. One year the carriage is pulled by Friesian horses and the next year by Gelderland (KWPN) horses.
I am convinced that Yvonne lives in a magical kingdom where all the animals and birds gather and the grass is always green and trees and flowers are always in bloom. Thank you for taking us along on your trip. Such a beautiful country! ❤❤
The royal stable is very impressive, Rein must have been so proud that Julius was chosen by the royal family….after all, he is the Queen’s son😊…it’s nice to see you enjoying time with your friends. The Hague is a beautiful city, thank you for taking us on this trip with you😃👍🏼
what a wonderful time. Hague is totally beautiful!! Our Queen Uniek is royal in more ways than one..Neat info tho about Uniek's son. Continued prayers for you, Risey, Uniek and her unborn foal.
Fun video! I use to travel and toured some in the Netherlands a couple of times. I love seeing sites and learning the history and this is like an armchair vacation!! Thanks for sharing this adventure with us!
Thank you for taking us along on your trip to the Palace and Royal Stables. Those carriages are so beautiful! And would be even more beautiful with a fleet of Friesians pulling them!

Boring? Oh my goodness, these videos are ADDICTIVE. I've learned a lot about horses and have never heard of the Friesian breed. Yes, I'm a novice lol. I go to bed late because I watch one then another... It was after watching many that I only then learned of Yvonne's terrible accident. Many tears (still) later, I am astonished at her recovery and strength. I'm hooked.👍 🐎
It is SO cool the son of Uniek, called Vilmar, was at the Royal Stables !! What an honor for Rein! The Royal Stables are magnificent. You saw 3 Friesians? Where do the rest of them live? Somewhere with pasture I’d imagine. Any chance of visiting them someday? You have lovely friends, Yvonne, and the Palaces and Hague are gorgeous! Thank you for taking us along with you!
Brilliant video. You had great time with your friends. Royal stables lovely, nice to see where Uniek’s son was stabled. Where is he now?. The Hague is lovely ❤️😘😘💕😁
You asked for input about the type of videos people would enjoy. Well I enjoy all your videos but enjoy them the most when I feel like I am learning something. Your videos where you talk about training horses, how an ailment is treated, mud fever, wobbles ot infertility. I can't wait to meet Uniek's baby from another mother. You do a great job!

Lovely to see all your friends and around the palace. Hope you had a very good day out. The Netherlands gold carriage is much, much nicer than our gold state coach, which is really too OTT and apparently not nice to ride in. Love to Risey. 🥰❤️🐎😀
You're not kidding! You're an important person to us all, Yvonne! I'm finding this video fascinating. My German ancestor, who came to South Africa in the late 1700s, studied to be a Predikant and missionary in the Netherlands, and left for South Africa with his wife from where you are now. Or near to, anyway! From Den Hague. His wife was Dutch. What stunning buildings. The Palace has a red dining room that looks very like the (probably much smaller) dining room in Die Kasteel at the Cape. (Cape Town, previously Cape of Good Hope). I guess Jan van Riebeeck was trying to copy things, as colonials often do, when he and his men built it! Actually, my ancestor was meant to be going to Java, but the Cape also needed educated Predikante, desperately, so we ended up here instead. Along with a whole host of other nationals which blended eventually into me. Pure Friesian (pure anything), I most definitely am not! Pure hearted, I hope. That at least.
Yvonne WOW just love this day out you had with your friends. A trip to the Royal Palace and Stables I'm a little jealous that's something I would love to do. I'm glad you had such a great time and you were able to do this. I know this was another accomplishment for you, and I'm so happy you got to do this.Exciting that a Son of Uniek was in Royal Service. What an honor. Well, after all, she is a Queen, so it's only right her for her son to be there. Yvonne, thank you for sharing this wonderful day with all of us. Love and Prayers for you, Yvonne Rising Star and your Family and Friends and all the Animals you love and care for every day. ❤️

Yvonne, how fabulous this tour was, for you and for me. I love history, and read books about one of the queens who lived in The Hague many years ago. Thank you so much for sharing your time with your friends. Stay safe.
Occasionally showing other places in your family’s world is great but of course the horses are most entertaining and you teach us so much. I loved the large ride on the beach with all the horses. That was amazing and vastly entertaining. Also enjoyed this trip to the stables❤😊

The statue was of King Willem the First (he reigned from 1815 till 1840). [MOD]
Yvonne you are doing so good since your accident! The herd is so happy to see you traveling and having fun😊You deserve it!
Wow...thank you for taking us with you...and yes it was very interesting...do you know what happened to Julius/Vilmar ? does he not pull the State Coaches any more ?...It seems that you all had a very good time at The Hague...I'm glad that you can go out and enjoy company again a huge step ahead...love from Scotland 🏙🌠
Last Summer Julius has been sold to a private stable in Nebraska, USA. Hopefully he is doing fine over there! [MOD]
@@LeidolfLady Thank you for replying so quickly...I was hoping that being a son of a 👑that his place was still in the Royal Stables...and I too hope that he's doing well😁
Thank you for sharing! I could watch this many times with all the beautiful pictures! Your friends seem nice! Thank you for sharing them with us! Hi friends!!! From Ohio, USA
That's awesome, a son of Uniek was one of the Royal horses?
How proud you must be!
Very beautiful stables. Was interesting to see the palace.
Thank you for sharing this. It was fun to see these beautiful historic places and great to see you having fun with your friends.
What a lovely day out! I remember visiting Den Haag and Madurodam on a school visit when I was in high school in the very late 1970’s xxxxxxxx
Such a beautiful place and you all look amazing.
Yvonne, how fabulous this tour was, for you and for me. I love history, and read books about one of the queens who lived in The Hague many years ago. Thank you so much for sharing your time with your friends. Stay safe.
The king and queen need to have more fresian horses!
Absolutely....but hoping they will not resell them to America!
Occasionally showing other places in your family’s world is great but of course the horses are most entertaining and you teach us so much. I loved the large ride on the beach with all the horses. That was amazing and vastly entertaining. Also enjoyed this trip to the stables❤😊
She doesn't make videos like this often so I enjoy it when she does. It's like getting thr inside scoop.
Yeah, Yvonne, the matchmaker. Niels, wishing you the perfect flying companion for 2024. Merry Christmas to all!
So wonderful to see where Julius spent his time. He's now in Nebraska in the US with his own channel. He is truly his mother's son with her patience and gentle spirit. Thank you for sharing this video Yvonne. It was very beautiful.
That was so much fun. Thank you so much for taking the whole herd along.
Thank you from all of us for taking us along. Beautiful palace. But Yvonne you are so funny! So glad you got to go.
Great video! What a beautiful place! Lovely to see you enjoying life with friends again. Thank you for sharing this.😀😍❤️
Beautiful day!
Sure Niels, come fly to America!
So impressive that Queen Uniek has a son that was in royal service!
Years ago, i knew German. Some of the Friesian and Dutch words are very similar. My ancestors came from an area that was sometimes Dutch, sometimes Belgian and sometimes German. 😊
Interesting heritage you have! 👍
This was fun! Thank you for taking us with you 🎉
This is a great video! I enjoyed it. Such beautiful architecture! But I loved the hidden drawings. That is really cool! Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing your journey. The woodwork in that one room was extraordinary. The carving of it all was so very beautiful. You certainly live in a beautiful country. It is a very warm home country. And I believe that gentleman on the horse was riding a Friesian! A very grand thank you to your friends for allowing us to join you on your day's adventure. Thank you again!
