Buckingham Palace, like Windsor Castle, is owned by the reigning monarch in right of the Crown. This means that Queen owned the palace in her capacity as sovereign and that, unlike those residences which she owned in a personal capacity - like Balmoral and Sandringham - ownership of Buckingham Palace passed automatically to King Charles upon the Queen’s death; she could not have left it to anyone else, even if she had wished to do so.
Occupied Royal Palaces such as Buckingham Palace are not the Private Property of the Queen. They are occupied by the Sovereign and held in Trust by Crown Estates for future generations the Queen owned two properties Sandringham and Balmoral Castle which are not publicly funded.

It is not "Queen Elizabeth's" palace. It's the official residence of the head of state of the United Kingdom, and foreign guests (such as another president) are hosted there. Nothing is more interesting than Her Royal Majesty herself.
I miss her.
Nothing is more useless as Her Royal Uselessness Herself.
Especially her son Andrew.

No need to be heard.
@@harshanid3636 I just think the children ought to see some kind of justice.
I hear the museum of rust formation is more interesting. Havent actually been there.
Outstanding to watch sir
Omg this palace doesn't belong to the Royal family it's the state who oversees it I hate when incorrect information is spread.
It's property of the royal family though. Its all held in trust so it can be past on through generations. The royal family do own it

A new Steinway Piano can cost $249,000. So an antique, painted, gold, royal piano is probably worth a lot, lot more.
That's what I was thinking

Enjoyed the 2second shot of the ball in gone with the wind😊
I suppose the King winninh an auction reminded somrone of Rhett Butler winning the right to choose his partner to lead the Virgina Reel. Works for this Southern belle!

A nauseating excess of name dropping, royal portraits, dogs, and conspicuous antiques.

Love the queens corgis where are they now?
Our favourite pet was Corgis um had had two in his life. The 1st Corgi name was our beautiful beloved peaches and out of all the dogs we had peaches was our best girl.
My two youngest sisters grew up with her and she also had 10 beautiful corgi pups.
Unfortunately our beloved girl passed away 1988 of old age our dad was so heart broken. We never had one. Of her pups we gave each family.
Um I think 10years later mum an dad went to a Shelter for dogs to get another corgi that dad was looking in the weekend paper they brought him home an oh my gosh he was A splitting image of peaches his name was Bow he was soooo playful lovely adorable Corgi he followed dad everywhere even car rides but unfortunately he passed away too after Bow dad didn’t want another Corgi it was had for dad so dad got a cat white Persian his name was free we called him grumpy old man like dad 😄😄😄😄😄
Where are they now? Dead, of course, of old age.

The jewels by far captivate my interest.
Stolen from Africa and around the world.
It was not Queen Elizabeth's Palace it is owned by the State.
🥉 😮
Occupied Royal Palaces such as Buckingham Palace are not the Private Property of the Queen. They are occupied by the Sovereign and held in Trust by Crown Estates for future generations the Queen owned two properties Sandringham and Balmoral Castle which are not publicly funded.
@@fredbear72ify I assume insomnia is to blame for your insistance on arguing semantics? Otherwise I would suggest finding something better to do. You guys seem in violent agreement.
You are correct. And it’s not their residence. It’s mainly offices and State rooms.
that bad ass clock, amazing stuff... it's like the iPhone of it's day just way more exclusive and akin to an analogue super computer lol
I miss you Queen Elizabeth!
It is not "Queen Elizabeth's" palace. It's the official residence of the head of state of the United Kingdom, and foreign guests (such as another president) are hosted there. Phrases are like make it seem like it's some sort of a special privilege of the monarchy. The monarchy is privileged but the Buckingham Palace is not a sign of it. Presidents also often have palaces, and all countries have official residences but they are essential in diplomacy.
Some essential transit point to the real luxury.
The chandeliers are beautiful. They remind me of New Orleans beads I had as a child.
Gosh, that tuppenny blue stamp bought at auction costs almost as much as a 1st Class one these days.
