I joined when the Queen lost her foal and was introduced to Risey. I will continue to watch your channel Yvonne. I am sure other subscribers feel the same. We will miss them all.
I think that your channel is one of the most relaxing, low stress videos to watch because how you present your vision of your horses. Please find more content and continue to video you're very good. Thank you
I saw the tears in your eyes, Yvonne. It is so hard to see beloved horses move on, but life is like that, full of changes. I will be watching your channel always. It is not just the horses and ponies we care about, it is YOU. You are a wonderful person and a great horsewoman. There will be other horses to fill up the stable and you will love them too. I am so glad you have Uniek, and the other mares as well as Wunder and Yfke. Please don't think we will stop watching your channel. There are as many reasons to watch as there are people watching! Love and Prayers from Memphis.
We are sorry so many are sold but understand Rein needs to do what is best for him. I definitely will continue to subscribe and watch your channel, Yvonne. Plus keep praying for your further recovery and Risey’s.
Working in a breeding and sales barn you expect horses to be sold but so many at once must be heartbreaking for you all. Hug each other and give all your horses lots of love to help heal your hearts.
Für die Menschen ist es viel schlimmer. Das Gute ist doch, dass die Stuten zusammenbleiben und nicht alleine in die Fremde ziehen. Das wird ihnen sehr helfen.
It has to be difficult to say goodbye to them...we love our animals !! Can you tell me where inCanada they'll be? I live in Quebec, in the countryside near the U.S. border. Be strong !!
Tribute to Rein and Yvonne for creating something so special that it has been purchased in its entirety😢. An arrow to the heart for us but “ They are together”
Canada is very lucky to have the Stal G mares & I'm glad the mares get to stay together as one herd. Rein has obviously spent a large part of his life building up his breeding herd of mares. So a decision like this can not have been easy for Rein to make. It must have weighed heavily on his heart. It is not necessary for us to know why. But I do wish to express my gratitude & thanks to Rein for allowing & supporting Yvonne to share life at Stal G with us. I hope that what ever the reason this next chapter in Rein and his family's life brings them joy, happiness and good health. 💖
Thanks to Rein, Yvonne, and others for preparing the horses so beautifully and with love for their new adventures in Canada. My heart was heavy watching that truck leave Stal G, but knowing they will be together helps to ease my pain. Can't imagine how hard that was for Rein, Yvonne and the Stal G staff!
I watched this with tears streaming down my face. I thought having Matilda being sold was the worst news possible about the Friesian horses. I'm so sad that Rein is having to cut back. We all have to face that as we age. I'm praying the weather is good for them in Canada. You saved the great news for last though...Matilda is coming back to Stal G! It will be great to see her again. The news earlier about having to castrate Rising Star is understandable with his condition I am thankful he gets to live. Praying he heals completely. I will of course continue to watch your channel and pray for Rein's health and future. He was gracious to allow all of us to watch his beautiful mares and their foals. I have enjoyed all the hours and the knowledge I have accumulated from these magnificent gifts from God. Thank you Rein and for taking care of our Yvonne, you are the greatest boss on earth. Thank you.
Is anybody else crying while watching this one? I've only cried when the babies are born or lost. Jacobien was my favorite. God speed and keep them safe and healthy dear God, put your mighty angels around them and their new owners may they thrive and be so happy! ❤❤❤😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏
Yes me too, Jacobien and Gea were my favorites! I'm glad they will at least be together. I'm sure it's a sad time for all of you but I understand why some have to be sold. I'm happy the Queen isn't going anywhere. 🥲💔 Love you all!
Me too. Am so sad. But once I saw she was in the ring for consideration, and looking so spectacular, I thought of course they would buy her - if they can afford a herd, how could they pass her up. Gosh.
It's hard to remember that this is a business and Rein can't keep all of the horses as much as we'd like him to. That they get to stay together is really awesome and rare. I am going to miss Jacobein so much. I'm a bit older than Rein and when you get to our ages, getting up early, in the middle of the night, for foalings and sick horses, mucking stalls, maintaining the fields is hard work and difficult to do. It's going to be fun watching the young ones grow up. Thanks for sharing this difficult day, Yvonne.
Remember everyone, the channel isn't done. Stal G is not closing. There are the foals, yearlings, and 2 year olds left. And I'm sure if more mature horses are needed to teach the young 'uns, I know of 3 close by that could assist!😁Plus we get the daily shenanigans of Stal H!
@@lrx54I cried throughout the entire video. And even after the video was finished and I am reading comments, I am still crying. 😢 I will be crying the rest of this evening probably. I have grown so attached to the horses. It's hard to lose so many at one time and to know we will never see them again.
@@dianebannister4591 I’m in the same condition. I just can’t believe it……it can’t be true. These videos have brought such joy over the years. An escape from the real world. I will keep watching and thank goodness Yvonne has her own barn! Hugs to you ❤️
Boss Rein has been so kind in sharing his herd with us for all these years. He & I are close in age and maybe the time has also come for him to retire, (especially if there are no younger family members who are willing & able to take over the horse farm/breeding business.) As a long-term herdie, I know that everyone of these horses would have eventually been sold at some future date. I hope that the new owners will give them the same love and care they received at Stal G! The new Canadian owners must be serious breeders, because they took the highest rated mares. Canadian horse country is beautiful! Hopefully, we will hear news about these beautiful horses that we’ve come to love from their new owners from time to time. I’m glad that this herd will stay together. May these beautiful girls have a safe journey. Yvonne, of course we will still keep watching your videos at Stal H! I am so happy that you were able to follow your dream to buy your own stable & also my long-time favorites Uniek, Reintje & Saly and have bred your own foals. Goodbyes are always hard. I will miss these horses and Stal G. Blessings to all! 😢❤
I thank Rein and his family for being so kind to let us all "live" in Stal G for the past years. Horses are a lot of work when you are doing your job correctly. Rein, his family, and Yvonne have always been the very best equine stewards. Their herds get everything they need to keep them in the peak of health and happiness. Rein, your retirement is well earned! A long, healthy and happy life to you and your families!
Yvonne, many of us first came here for the Friesian horses but stayed because of you. Whatever you care to show us, we will be here. We love you and so enjoy watching you, your family, Stal H horses and ponies as well as your adventures with Oda and Hester. Through this channel have raised a lot of awareness about the Friesian horse.
“What the heart as once known it shall never forget” ❤ I will always remember the friesian horses here and will remain here watching them born , grow, and move on 🥰
Yvonne, 2 things, it was obvious you had also been crying and we certainly understand that. 2nd thing if we watch this channel because of YOU. Yes, along the way you introduce us to so many of the beautiful Friesians, but we watch because of you & will always do so.
Very sad, but nothing lasts forever. Sounds like Rein is wanting to downsize and stop breeding Friesian Horses. Good thing Yvonne has Stal H now and we can continue to the journey. Thank you Rein for allowing us to watch your operation over the years, and of course thanks to Yvonne for making it happen.
I'll miss them. Whoever buys the horses will get an incredible animal. You all have given so much love, attention, and training. Thank you for letting us say goodbye. 😢
I dunno why I’m crying… I live in Canada… wait Canada is huge and I live closer to the East coast!!! These people didn’t just buy a herd of horses. They bought a whole herd of Celebrities! I will miss them! I hope they get well adjusted to the harsh winter climate here! I’m glad they stay with their friends at least…❤
Yvonne do you know where in Canada they are going? I live in Canada. Maybe the stable that is taking them has a website or TH-cam channel too. But of course I will continue to follow the heard with you ♥️. I love your videos 😊❤
I'm in Ontario. Our winters have changed significantly to be much warmer with almost no snow. I stopped paying the snow removal guy $500 a season because he'd only come twice a season because we didn't get enough snow. I'm certain the horses will be well taken care of, not just because they're loved but because they are an investment. I'm pretty sure they'll spend their winters indoors.
@@barbll000- I, too, am in Ontario (Toronto), and though I'm sad for Yvonne and her TH-cam audience about the sale and that these mares and a few of their offspring are leaving Friesland, but glad they are coming to Canada - which means there will be more beautiful, stately Friesian horses *here.* This winter, we've only had 3 snowfalls in the city, with only a few centimetres of snow, that haven't lasted more than a few days, which is not good for the type of spring run-off needed for crops, forests and vegetative growth. This is lack of snow is relevant across Canada, and was recently reported in the news would impact British Columbia's forests, too.
Saying goodbye is hard. You’ve done a wonderful job with these horses. You can tell you loved them. You can be proud that they will show Canada what a special herd they are.
As another member said: many of us first came because of the Friesians and remained because of you! I’m very sad to say goodbye to some of these horses and how they have interacted with you. But I understand and you can count me among those who will continue watching you and enjoying all that you share with us. ❤Suzan
Knock me over with a feather! Others are crying, while I feel like the wind was knocked out of me! I totally understand why horse lovers the world over would love to own these famous Friesians. Congratulations to Rein and Bravo! to you all for your hard work and dedication.
Sorry to say, I'd be that person only because, it's a pretty large herd( not a bad one in the bunch)but, at 60 I'd rather visit someone else farm an help as long as petting and grooming are included.. have to pass on riding not last time I rode it took 3 weeks to recover, I think, lol! ❤️✌️
I understand the reasoning behind the sale, and I am grateful that these beautiful mares, that we were lucky enough to get to know, will be staying together. Can you imagine being able to purchase an instant herd of Friesians? Wow! I truly hope that we are allowed to know that they arrived safely. Thank you so much, Boss Rein, for allowing us to follow their journey all these years. It must have been so difficult to load them up, Yvonne. Many hugs to all the ladies who took such superb care of these beauties. I look forward to the continued stories of Stal G and Stal H, and of course will be watching every video. Ugg- now I am going to wash the tears from my face. x
A day later and all I can see is that truck driving away with all those horses we got to love. How hard it must be for Yvonne and the other women at the stables, my heart goes out to you..🤗
Wow! The buyers got an instant and amazing Friesian herd. I couldn't help but cry, especially when I saw Jacobien and Gea were sold too. 😥 I can imagine how hard this is for you Yvonne. I will not stop watching your wonderful videos and your loyal followers will be right there with me. We know this is a business and things like this must happen but it doesn't make it less hard. I hope and pray the new owners will care for them as well as you all have. They are all precious souls. 😇💙
The new owners are not only getting the mares, but the foals . What a treasure! And i know that Yvonne and Rein’s you tube success have helped to spread the fame and desirablity of Friesian horses all over the World. it is a wonderful thing for the Fresian Breed which was very much endangered after the World Wars. They no longer had any purpose or value as farm animals, pulling the plough and the harvesters. it was te good hearts of the Feisian people who loved the breed and brought them back and showed the world how beautifully they could perform in sports and competition. They have succeeded perhaps, too well. Now they are highly prized and very much sought after. I am recalling the visit to the Royal Stables, only to learn that the King was retiring, Uniek’s son his one Freisian.. Apparently the royal favor has fallen on another breed. it is his loss IMO. Now I am crying as I watch an entire herd leaving Stal G. Even the sky is crying big tears. 💙💙💕💙💙 These beautiful creatures will truly Grace the prairies or woodlands of Canada.and thier Fame will spread acoss the “New World” i am hoping they will. come to British Columbia, just across the Border from my home. it would be a comfort to know they are near the shores of the North Pacific ocean in a climate like Friesland on the North Sea🌲, 🐎🐎🐎🌲
I’m crying for you too, Yvonne. It is hard to say goodbye to the horses you put so much love into. At least they will stay together in a lovely country. They will like living in Canada. I don’t know why but it made me cry to know Jacobien is going. Such sweet sorrow….
I think it was because Yvonne was working with Jacobien. I thought she was going to start training her on dressage and get her to Sport. Not known. Just my guess.
Huge thank you to boss Rein for sharing his wonderful herd with us over the years. His love of the Friesian breed was evident in the home and care he provided every single horse from the moments they were born. It has been a privilege to feel like a member of his herd.
I understand this is a business and I certainly respect the decisions made. However, I am truly heartbroken and cried like a baby watching this video!! I have been watching your videos for several years. The horses and landscape have brought such peace and calm to my life. Jacobein and Leanna were babies and my two favorites from the foals born that year. I'm sure they will enjoy their new home and I am so thankful they get to stay together. All of them will be greatly missed. 😢💙 Yvonne, thank you so much for sharing your videos and your love for the horses. I have truly been blessed by watching.
I will continue to watch your videos as long as you post them, Yvonne! You are a star, too!❤ The "circle of life" continues. But not without a few tears...🥲😥
Such a bitter-sweet day! So many happy memories watching the Friesians at Stal G! At least the herd will still be together. Must be difficult for you Yvonne, Stal G has been a big part of your life. Many thanks to you and Rein for sharing your herd with me. Have loved every moment. Will still look forward to the adventures at Stahl H. Love and best wishes to all❤
If I remember correctly, one reason that Rein chose to breed Frisians when he stopped as a dairy farmer was because he loved the breed, and wanted to help improve and spread it. That way they would never come as close to going extinct as a breed, as they were when the Frisian Stamboek was officially established, with only 3 stallions. Breeding more Frisian horses, and spreading them around to other countries and breeders, will help with that goal of keeping this kind of horses in the world. Keeping them all in a few stables in one small country isn't going to be as much help with that long-term and very worthwhile goal. So it's sad to see them go, but good for promoting the love of Frisian horses in the wider world.
I agree so very much. Particularly with the threat of WWIII looming in Europe again. How much I pray that will never happen, but in fact I've been worrying about what would happen to all these beautiful horses if that happens, or if the weather leads to great flooding. It's very volatile - politics and weather. In Canada, or South Africa where I am, or Australia, they could grow and grow. We started off with one small Lippizaner herd in Johannesburg a few decades ago, and there are now shows and herds and stables in various parts in the country. Same with the Friesians if they ever get here. I for one am humbled to have become part of this support herd of such incredible animals. I am merely glad they go as a group, not one by one by one to different homes. Sad to miss Jacobien though. She is ALMOST as beautiful as Uniek. I hope the new owner sends us some pictures. I will still watch. Definitely! And God Speed for the journey, beautiful mares. May you abundantly bless your new home with your beauty, strength, and many foals.
exactly and well said. putting emotions aside to see the goals being well kept and progressing forward brings more joy in the bigger better and long term results
@pamelaschutz1248 Pamela, you are very wise. Thank you for saying all of this. You are so very right about every single point you brought up. Rein's goal was to ensure the breed continues and I feel he certainly has done so. May God bless this breed, all who love and care for them, and may He keep peace in this troubled world we are in and slow the changes in our climate. Thank you again Pamela for your wise words.
Oh, i cant stop crying. I can't even imagine your sadness. My little cat has come to comfort me just as your 2 kitties tried to comfort you, Yvonne. We all know Rein has to do what he thinks is best and I'm happy he found a buyer who would keep the herd together. Matilda has been my favorite since she was born so I'm happy that she's staying. Please keep creating videos because we've become very attached to you and we care about you and your family. Maybe you can convince the new owners to create their own channel so we can get updates on the herd. In the meantime, i hope you can enjoy the horses who are staying and show us what happens next!❤
Dear new owners, if you are watching the comments and if it is possible, can we please have a youtube channel from your behalf to keep up to date with these ladies and babies. If not also it is understandable you to remain private and I respect that. But it will be a joy to us if you decide to share them here with their new family and in their new home..❤❤❤❤❤ Just a tiny request from 1 member of Yvonne's herd.❤
Yes, good idea!!! If the new owners dont want to share some news please could our herdies from Canada look if there is some news in horse farms papers or so. This must be a sensation for horse keepers and equestrians in Canada that a whole herd from Friesland is arriving❣
@@wiebkegunther1880 If they are a breeding establishment, I can't imagine why they'd not want the publicity and prestige that comes from their "celebrity" herd. These horses and offspring will be much in demand thanks to the Friesian Horses channel. I hope they can invite a certain young family over for a visit (hint hint to whomever the stable owners are 😉).
As I age, we have a farm and raise cattle, I understand about downsizing. It is hard to let go of animals and things you love. Good luck to Rein in his future. Yvonne you should be proud that you have developed a channel that has made stall G so famous and that the girls can stay together. You are an amazing woman! Still I teared up when Jacobien was loaded. I always loved to see her on your channel.
Will be so looked after in Canada great equestrian Stables in Calgary. Animal welfare Paramount, they make Bridges for Wild Animals to cross. Just in case Some viewers disperse not know the depth of caring in Canada 🇨🇦. You are sending Magnificent Horses over there sad but you do an Amazing Job xxxxx.
Omg it’s her business to sell horses please don’t make her feel guilty about selling her horses , you will have lots of foals to watch grow up soon as well❤
Someone has a lot of funds to be able to purchase this herd. I trust the new owners will take excellent care of them. Parting will be a heart breaker. ❤❤❤❤
I was surprised so many were sold but especially with foal. I’m not judging but curious why and if they’re getting out of the business. Watching them load them up I won’t lie I cried. And I’m sure we all had our favorites. I can’t imagine how Yvonne and the others feel.
Wow!!! The whole herd was sold I am speechless and as much as I understand the winding down of the business I cried my heart out. My consolation is that this ig herd is staying together, that is very lucky indeed may they have an extraordinary life in Canada.
I suspect Yvonne will particularly miss Jacobien. They are beautiful and exceptionally well-mannered mares and I wish them all happy, healthy long lives. And many more horses to become part of Yvonne's life...🐎💗🐎💗
Yvonne, Will always continue to watch you. I am sure your hearts are heavy with sadness,as is mine. Bless them all and may their lives be filled with beauty and love for that is what you all gave them.❤️😢🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴😘🕯️
Knowing how much hard work is involved in the business, along with creating the videos, I understand Rein wanting to slow down & cut back. Thank you for all these years of sharing your hard work with the world. Happiness is knowing the herd will stay together for the most part; I did get teary when I heard Jacobien goes too. Thank you Rein, Yvonne & everyone involved, for the years of videos & letting all us viewers into your world. I will continue to watch whatever you post Yvonne.
Yvonne, I live in Canada, come and visit! Rein breeds beautiful Friesians! This is why people want to buy them! We’ll miss these ladies! I would have been crying. You, Rein and the rest of the crew are very brave!😢😢💕💕
Oh Yvonne...it's so hard to watch. Jacobien was my favorite at Stal G. I shed a few tears watching her load up in the trailer. I can't speak for all but I will be back to watch you and your beautiful herd at Stal H. I found you when our beautiful Queen lost her foal and have watched through all the ups and sometimes downs, of life with horses. Thank you for sharing such an important part of your life with us. I can't wait to watch your boys grow up with your amazing horses. You have a wonderful family!
Thank you Yvonne for letting us see their beauty and being able to say goodbye. I hope we get updates and videos from Canada on them, especially Jacobien. Love to all.
I may have seen a tear in your eye Yvonne. I have tears too. With selling nearly every mare, it appears as though Rein is making some big changes so we will probably see more horses sold. Everybody goes through big life changes. Some are good some bad some very hard. We are right there with you. We also must help you get Rising star to feel better. I enjoy hearing you talk about everything and you film wildlife so beautifully and the sky. And we have all the members of the Stal H family animal and human. It will be alright. Now for me it is very sad to see all the mares go and a couple of foals too I think. I look forward to you continuing to share with us. ❤❤❤😊😊😊💕💕💕⭐️⭐️
Oh, Jacobien😭💔😭💔I am so sad today. I know Rein would not make this decision lightly, and I am glad these mares will stay together. They are quality horses who will make their new owners and new country proud.
Oh, my goodness. Jacobien is the loss most painful for me as well. Yvonne riding her brought great happiness. I am grateful they will be together, forging their bonds as a different herd. God bless them. And all at Stahl G & H.😢❤
I hope the new owners of these wonderful horses realise how many of us love them and have watched them for years and send you a video of them happy in their new home. That must have been so sad for you all, it brought a tear to my eye x
Poor Frieda looked so sad when you said goodbye. I guess having 8 starmares in 2 years was unexpected. I will miss them all, even cranky Geertje. Poor Sjors losing his buddy Geertje and the rest of his mares.
Let the new owner know these were not just another horse herd...these are "The famous. " Plus folks want to know where they are going exactly and how they are doing once they get there.
I will try to find out where they are. I'm in Ontario, Niagara Falls. Maybe coming here...there are Friesians quite near me and maybe I will visit. I hate to intrude.
That was difficult to watch. We have seen the special bond Yvonne had with these ladies. Yvonne, we are sorry for your loss. We could see how very difficult this was for you. We could see the pain in your eyes. Your mares will, at least be together to offer each other comfort. We hope there journey is a safe one.😢
😥Woah...What a heartbreaking video. I'm not ashamed to admit I'm crying. I'll always remember the video of the day when all the mare's laid down to rest in the field (except for Queen Uniek) with you by their side. It was a magical moment. I was fortunate enough to get to know a little bit of these lovely horses personalities at Stal G through your videos Yvonne! 🐎 Wishing happy trails to Rinse Janko, Pieter, Ginny, Geertje, Gea, Frieda, Jacobien, Jildou, Lianne, Marije, and Mathilde... 🐎
They sure knew where to come for the most beautiful horses. The more I think about it the sadder I become. I can't image how you all feel there, and I see the tears in your eyes😢
So true, I found tears in my eyes as well. 😢 It's amazing how Yvonne, through her videos and sharing her knowledge, makes us feel as if we know these horses and foals.
Ive been asking myself that question since the day I was introduced to the channel. Incredible right? The answer I believe is because of Yvonne and her magic camera. 😎😁😂❤️
I always watch Yvonne's daily video on my lunch break at work. Thank Goodness I ate in my car today. I was blubbering like a fool. I am so happy the dames got sold together. I would like to give my thanks to Rein for allowing us to be a part of the amazing stories we witnessed. Congratulations on the sale of your beautiful herd. Don't worry Yvonne, you still have more amazing stories to share. This crop of foals are hilarious and Uniek's baby is on the way! Risey's possible recovery from Wobblers. There are many stories left to tell. Have a good cry like the rest of us and we'll see you tomorrow! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I started watching you when Uniek lost her foal, then we all fell in love with Rising Star. I've grown to love all of these horses. My eyes are filled with tears as I watch them get in the truck to be taken to quarantine. The only thing that makes this easier is knowing they will be together as herd!! They'll always live in our hearts here on your channel. I was quite surprised by my reaction. But when you first said goodbye to Frieda, the love spilled out of my heart and filled my eyes. I also feel for you. Yvonne and all the wonderful people that have worked with these beautiful horses. how much more sadness you must feel so my heart goes out to you too. much love, Donna. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This was a chock. All the horses, all the years of breeding, selecting, growing up and training - gone. I am happy that you have three, and like so many others say, I´m happy for the horses that they go together.
Yvonne, you did very well speaking in English! I know how hard it is to say good-bye. It is bitter-sweet, as we say. You love them and then have to let them go. It is like our children. I hope you will receive video and photos from their new homes.❤🩹
I found myself holding my breath, hoping that Jacobien would not be going. A sad day, even sadder to see the tender loving care in washing and brushing and braiding to prepare them for the journey. I can only imagine how you and Rein and all the others feel. Such a wonderful stable Rein has created! I wish him well! Long ago you and Rein visited Canada Yvonne--perhaps you will again....
Jildo and Jacobien are my favourites and I was sobbing when Yvonne when down the line saying sold, sold, sold. Goodbye beautiful horses and be good for your new owners in Canada. 😢
Dear Yvonne 😍 and dear Rein 😁 you were the heart, soul, and brain for this channel! Part of me is so sad to see all of these beautiful mares 🐴leaving 😭 But another part of me is so happy that so many of the mares are staying together 🖤 and going to Canada 🍁. They are treasures 💎 in their excellent breeding and in their wonderful characters ❣ Boss Rein, his family, and Stal G invested their lives in these horses and it shows🥰 I hope their new owners can provide updates. And I will be here with the Herd 😘
I found the video where the Queen was introduced to Risey and i will continue watching these videos. I am not leaving your channel. There comes times which are hard like this that you have to sell so many horses same time. It must be heartbreaking to you. We understand you well Yvonne and we stay with you and keep following your channel ❤
Part of me is heartbroken at this news, but being of a certain age myself, I totally understand Rein wanting to cut back. He loves these horses, and I have no doubt that he would not have let them all go like this if he wasn't certain they were going to an excellent new home with great new people to love and care for them. I am so glad that they get to stay together as they embark on this unexpected new adventure in their lives. And, Yvonne, Canada is only a plane ride away. Please don't say you'll "never" see these beautiful ladies again. Visiting them is a fantastic excuse for a holiday in Canada. (Not that anyone really needs one; Canada is well worth the trip any time.) In the meantime, I will most definitely continue to eagerly await your videos, be they of horses, ponies, cats, dogs, birds, bunnies, frogs, or even humans. Visiting with you almost every night is a true balm for my stressed out soul. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for all that you share with us. We love you, and we are with you.
It is sad to say goodbye to these mares that we have watched and loved since they were tiny foals. I am glad that they will be a new herd together-- shared training and bloodlines and history. They are all so beautiful. Thank you for sharing the sad stories as well as the happy ones. I live in Canada so I hope to hear more of Friesen horses here.
It`s always hard to say good bye ! It was a big decision for Rein to take. I`m sad to see the horses go. As someone mentioned before, it would be nice if the new owner would send you videos on how they are doing in Canada. It`s wonderful that they can be together as a herd. Of course I will continue watching. Thank you Yvonne for all that you do and thank you Rein to had one day the dream of having a herd of Friesian horses. Without you, we wouldn`t be here today. I wish them all the best of life ! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Oh this broke my heart😥 I can't believe we aren't going to see these beauties anymore! My heart hurts for you Yvonne, I know you are more used to this than I am, but I just feel so bad for you. Of course I will keep watching!!! We have foals to raise 😉🙂❤❤
Yvonne, I appreciate you sharing this sad day with us😥💔 I pray the new owners will handle these beautiful horses with tender loving care❤ I will continue watching your videos. They have taught me so much! Thank you🥰
I had to watch again just to hear you say their precious names and love on each one as you walked from stall to stall. ❤ It was like you were saying good-bye for all of us. 😔
I put of watching this because I knew I’d cry…. My favourite was Jacobien . I’m going to miss them all, sadly my Lottery Win hasn’t happened yet. Fly safe beautiful girls. 🧡🥕🧡🥕🧡🥕🧡🥕🧡🥕🧡🥕🧡
It's hard to find the right words. What a massive life change for Rein senior and the horse and people community he built at Stal G. What an adventure it has been for you all, working with so many wonderful horses, each with their own personality. I've loved having a window into life with Friesians. Your fall highlighted what a precious group of people you have around you, Yvonne ❤. I am looking forward to seeing where life takes you all next. Big hugs as you all go through this time of massive change. End of one era, the start of the next ❤
So many conflicted feelings. But my first thoughts are with Rein. Hoping all is well with him and his family and sending him much ❤️ for sharing his beautiful herd with us over these years. Second, of course we will continue to watch you, Yvonne! You are one in a million and your kind way of sharing not just the horses but your family is very endearing. I can't wait to see the notificatIon that baby Uniek has been born! Sending lots of love to all of you that support stal G and stal H. Change is hard but necessary.
I too am so sad. For years I have sat down to watch these horses. The only other time I have ever been so upset for any TH-cam video is when we were so worried about you Yvonne, and we’re so thankful for Bauke’s bravery and commitment to this community as he kept us updated. I remind myself it is a business, and all of you that have been with them are going to miss them so much more.
I hope the horses wherever they go I hope the people are as kind as you are and they take care of them as much as you care for them and they don’t hurt them in anyway
Wow - purchasing an entire herd - and all in foal! That's a whole lotta money, including the plane ride! Fantastic for Rein. And cool that the herd already know each other. Best of everything in their new home in Canada. The new caretakers have taken on such lovely horses!
Yvonne, I can see how very hard this is for you, honey. You love these gorgeous creatures so tenderly. To have so many leave all at once is really tough! I will say, though, that this enormous sale happened is a wonderful testimony to all of the excellent care all of you give these stunning creatures. Your horses are absolutely amazing, and are obviously VERY desirable to the Friesian-loving community. Congratulations! The story continues! Peace be with you. 💚
Although I am very sad knowing I will miss these young mares, I think it is awesome that Yvonne’s channel allows the new owners to see the births of their mares and how wonderfully the Stal G team has treated them. What a perk! Goedzo Yvonne!! ❤
I first watched this video last night and was heartbroken. This morning (now😊) it was the first thought that I had to see if it was still true or if I just did dream of it. So... it's still the truth. But as sad as it is, one day we all have to face reality and cut down on doing things we loved to do. None of us is becoming younger as time goes by. So thanks to Rein for letting Yvonne share his horses and the atmosphere at stall G. with us. And Yvonne : don't worry about loosing views on your channel. I am sure I am not the only one who started watching this channel for the beautiful horses and continued watching just because of you. So... see you tonight 😉
I too started to watch for the beautiful Friesians but continue to watch because of Yvonne. Stal H has the top three mares from Stal G. I’m excited for the future of Stal H with Wunder and Yfke…and the arrival of Queen Uniek’s foal…love this channel😃👍🏼
@@bob-t4s6i I now understand how REIN could stand to part with Reintje and Saly, 2 of his best mares....in essence, he was saving them for Friesland! At the time, he may well have been careful up it searching for a suitable buyer...a sale such as this, does bit happen everyday, nor overnight! Thank you Rein...
I love to see you and all the horses. As long as you film I will watch. I’m glad Risey is doing better. I remember the day he came to the farm to be with Uniek. Such a beautiful moment. I’ve watched that video many times and it’s always touching.
While goodbyes are sad, how exciting for the new owners. Thanks to Stal G and Rein for letting us watch these mares grow up and become mothers themselves.
Your subscribers came because of the Friesians, but they stay because of YOU, Yvonne! 😊
I joined when the Queen lost her foal and was introduced to Risey. I will continue to watch your channel Yvonne. I am sure other subscribers feel the same. We will miss them all.
I am the same way. She and Risey are the ones that brought me here and keep me coming back.
🤗 thank you!
I think that your channel is one of the most relaxing, low stress videos to watch because how you present your vision of your horses. Please find more content and continue to video you're very good. Thank you
I feel the same! i would love to follow the younger horses journey too
Ah yes! That’s exactly when I first started watching!
😊😊😊
Very well said. I feel exactly the same. As long as Uniek and Yvonne exist we will be glad to share their lives. ❤️
😊❤️
We are sorry so many are sold but understand Rein needs to do what is best for him. I definitely will continue to subscribe and watch your channel, Yvonne. Plus keep praying for your further recovery and Risey’s.
Working in a breeding and sales barn you expect horses to be sold but so many at once must be heartbreaking for you all. Hug each other and give all your horses lots of love to help heal your hearts.
Indeed.. hardly any left for Yvonne film. They will be missed big time unless new owners share…..!!!
Very well said 😢❤
Canada is very lucky to have the Stal G mares & I'm glad the mares get to stay together as one herd.

Thank you.
Very nice words for Rein and completely deserved ❤️🌷

Lovely observations. Rein is indeed great in so many areas. It's always been a special treat when he appears in these videos.
Is anybody else crying while watching this one? I've only cried when the babies are born or lost. Jacobien was my favorite. God speed and keep them safe and healthy dear God, put your mighty angels around them and their new owners may they thrive and be so happy! ❤❤❤😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏
Amen! And Amen! ❤❤❤
Jacobien is my favorite too. I cried thru the whole video. How hard it must be for all of the people who raised them to see so many go at once!

I'm heartbroken that Yvonne couldn't purchase her and bring her to Stal H. I really thought that would happen. 😔
I agree. Gorgeous horse. So sad we won’t get to see her again
Me too. Am so sad. But once I saw she was in the ring for consideration, and looking so spectacular, I thought of course they would buy her - if they can afford a herd, how could they pass her up. Gosh.
I'm here for the long haul, I will continue to watch your videos as long as you post them. I love your personality and love for the horses.
Does anyone else feel like this is a nightmare? 😮
Yes....me. I am so sad. I have watched these horses since they were born. 😢

Is he officially retiring? Somehow I missed that in the video.
Absolutely right. Thank you Rein for being generous with us all!
Wait Rein Stal G is retiring? I didn't see that part. I think he is downsizing, I could be wrong. Idk, I just watch.
REIN retiring was not mentioned...although anything is possible!
Rein is downsizing
They are sold as a herd. Those are fantastic news. I hope the new owners take great care of all of them. Congratulations!!!
Yes, very glad they will have each other.
Two that were sold will remain in The Netherlands.
They r great representatives for the breed we still love the Stals...

I understand Boss Rein wanting to slow down. I am 67 years young and I get it! Keep us updated as you can. Tell Boss Rein we hope to see him again!!
Yvonne, 2 things, it was obvious you had also been crying and we certainly understand that.

I hope they get well adjusted to the harsh winter climate here!
I’m glad they stay with their friends at least…❤
I am in Ohio, my heart couldn't help but wonder if they come to one of the many Toronto area Friesian farms/breeders and allow visits.
@@barbll000- I, too, am in Ontario (Toronto), and though I'm sad for Yvonne and her TH-cam audience about the sale and that these mares and a few of their offspring are leaving Friesland, but glad they are coming to Canada - which means there will be more beautiful, stately Friesian horses *here.*
This winter, we've only had 3 snowfalls in the city, with only a few centimetres of snow, that haven't lasted more than a few days, which is not good for the type of spring run-off needed for crops, forests and vegetative growth. This is lack of snow is relevant across Canada, and was recently reported in the news would impact British Columbia's forests, too.
How many were sold at once.. must've been a big Cash deal . Yep I shed a few tears myself. List the sales please.
Saying goodbye is hard. You’ve done a wonderful job with these horses. You can tell you loved them. You can be proud that they will show Canada what a special herd they are.

Perfectly said
The new owners are not only getting the mares, but the foals .

I am glad they are going to be together still
Oh, i cant stop crying.
I was thinking the same thing, they could send video's to , Yvonne. and she can share with us, the new owners may not want to do a TH-cam video's😀

Frieda was my favorite 😢 She will be a blessing to someone. ❤
To whom it may concern. We’re gonna need an address and coordinates!!!!
Let the new owner know these were not just another horse herd...these are
"The famous. " Plus folks want to know where they are going exactly and how they are doing once they get there.
@@jaanstephenswhite572 LOL. That’s so funny. I was thinking the same thing.
@@jacksonbiggs4291 I wonder if the new owners realize the Stal G Friesian herd comes already equipped with a fanatical human herd? 😂🤣😂🤣
Dear Canadian fans, you are sooo lucky! The very best of Stal G is moving to your country! Please, welcome them warmly!😢
Gosh, Canada is so large, I’ll probably never get to see them. But we do looove horses so they will be treated like royalty.
Canada is huge! Each province is larger than France! And we don’t know which province or Territory they were sold to! 😅
I will try to find out where they are. I'm in Ontario, Niagara Falls. Maybe coming here...there are Friesians quite near me and maybe I will visit. I hate to intrude.
@JP-gg5we that is so good to hear, so good.
Yes, it is bittersweet for us Canucks.
Omg hahahaha it’s her business for heaven sakes she can’t keep them all ❤❤❤so stop with the crying mak8ng her feel worse than she already does …..
@@toriwolf5978 Nasty comment "its her business..." as if speaking only of an office space, desks, or shuffling papers.
They sure knew where to come for the most beautiful horses. The more I think about it the sadder I become. I can't image how you all feel there, and I see the tears in your eyes😢
Oh My ! This is my first experience seeing so many sold. It is so sad. I will have to come back and re-watch this. Very emotional. 💔
Good to note that I am not the only one crying. How can one get so attached to horses one has never even met in the flesh?
So true, I found tears in my eyes as well. 😢 It's amazing how Yvonne, through her videos and sharing her knowledge, makes us feel as if we know these horses and foals.
Ive been asking myself that question since the day I was introduced to the channel. Incredible right? The answer I believe is because of Yvonne and her magic camera. 😎😁😂❤️
@@Bruniebear so sad😢
I will continue to watch your videos. Rein just needs some down time and his lineage will continue in Canada.
HUGS. Even for good reasons, it's hard to say goodbye to friends. HUGS!!!

This was a chock. All the horses, all the years of breeding, selecting, growing up and training - gone. I am happy that you have three, and like so many others say, I´m happy for the horses that they go together.
You’re eyes made me cry. We could tell how hard it was for you. I know it’s part of the business but it’s still so hard. ❤
❤❤
How hard to have so many sold at once. It's difficult not to emotional when you are attached and love them. Hugs to you Yvonne ❤
Jildo and Jacobien are my favourites and I was sobbing when Yvonne when down the line saying sold, sold, sold. Goodbye beautiful horses and be good for your new owners in Canada. 😢
Same 💔
Dear Yvonne 😍 and dear Rein 😁 you were the heart, soul, and brain for this channel!
❤❤
Thanks for everything! Yvonne we will always continue to watch you!
❤❤❤
I understand the why of it all, but it breaks my heart to see Jacobien go. She has always been my favorite.💔
Mine too!❤
And mine! Along with wonderful cuddly Liane.
Same 😓😓😓
Agreed
💔 Jacobien 💔
Understand this completely for your business it still is heartbreaking…bless you
Oh this broke my heart😥 I can't believe we aren't going to see these beauties anymore!

❤❤
Whatever your content be at stal H or G will happily follow. All the best to Rein for whatever he has planned next.
Don't worry Ivonne, the herd will follow you 😘
🤗❤️
We, the herd, aren't going anywhere!
❤❤
I too am so sad. For years I have sat down to watch these horses. The only other time I have ever been so upset for any TH-cam video is when we were so worried about you Yvonne, and we’re so thankful for Bauke’s bravery and commitment to this community as he kept us updated. I remind myself it is a business, and all of you that have been with them are going to miss them so much more.
I hope the horses wherever they go I hope the people are as kind as you are and they take care of them as much as you care for them and they don’t hurt them in anyway
You post, we'll watch! ❤
👍❤️😊
Yep...one thing has not changed!
Wow almost emptying out. They were all sweet as if they feel your feelings. It’s hard to see your tears. Hugs
A tribute to Reins breeding that the herd is wanted in another country his legacy will be starting a new stable
❤❤❤❤❤
Wow - purchasing an entire herd - and all in foal! That's a whole lotta money, including the plane ride! Fantastic for Rein. And cool that the herd already know each other. Best of everything in their new home in Canada. The new caretakers have taken on such lovely horses!
We know they will be well cared for
Wouldn't it be awesome to have that amount of money??😂
@@rebeccacarlson9166 Even more awesome, to have ALL those horses!
Lisa.
Another great point... These new owners have a Visual History of their Purchases... At their fingertips!
❤❤
