Exactly! Like Finland also has a substantian language minority of Swedish speaking people, finlandssvensk, who are still Finnish. Though it is a bit different because Swedish was formerly the language of upper class Finns (due to Swedish rule and governmental factors - it's still the second of two official languages of the state) who weren't necessarily all Swede settlers, but ethnically Finn language and cultural group. As far as I know a lot of Finnish speaking people in Sweden on the other hand originally descent from Finnish immigrants. What comes to the flags, Swedish regions in Finland have an unofficial flag with yellow reference to Swedish flag, and the autonomous Ahvenanmaa/Åland also distinctively refers to Swedish flag colours.

As a representative of the Swedish-Finnish community I have to inform you: We are either immigrants from Finland or decendents of finnish immigrants, we are the largest minority group in Sweden, and just about all of us are either working class or children of working class parents. To simplify for an american: we are basically like the irish but mostly immigrated in the 1950-1960s to work in the swedish industries after the war had wrecked almost all of Finlands economy.

Therefore the people had very different ways of life and different cultures. Also those flagg were actually used for almost a century before the union was dissolved

That last one was basically showing the connection of the Philippine flag to other flags and then going back one step further. The South American "Sun of May" got here to become the "Light of Liberty", a symbol that was then used in the Katipunan (a revolutionary group that lead to the Philippine Declaration of Independence in the late 1800s before America bought us from Spain for a couple million dollars), which in turn was used in the current Philippine flag (the sun was way more complex at first, but then they simplified it around the American Commonwealth Period). The equilateral triangle at the left came from Cuba and Puerto Rico, while the main colors (Red, White, and Blue) came from America whose colors came from the British (a detail not shown in the infographic). Not sure who suggested golden yellow for the Sun and Stars, but then again, who doesn't think of the sun as golden yellow...

Just very quick on why the Sweden-Norway stuff is so "un-unified". Sweden basically got Norway from Denmark as a prize for being on the winning side in the Napoleonic wars. Norway immediately started working on its independence and wrote its constitution on the 17th of May 1814. By around 1880-1890 we had a functioning parliament, and finally on the 7th of June 1905 we got our independence peacefully. Norway at the time didn't really have that much value either, so there wasn't really that much reason for Sweden to risk civil war to keep us. Our few mines was running dry and our forests had been badly managed, so it was just a couple million poor farmers and fishermen. We did lose some territory though.
