After having learned English, French, Latin, and Japanese, I really can say with certainty that English is one of the easiest languages there is.
If I wasn't a native German speaker, I would never want to have to learn it. Japanese is so much simpler.

I think its kinda cool actually. Like if u wanna get all deep and metaphorical with it you could say the Buddha statue and the temple next to it represents the past and our traditions, the modern buildings around it represent the present and current dysfunctions as well as achievements (cus the buildings are a little ugly but its impressive that we were even able to construct them), and the crane could represent the promise of the future. It could also represent the eternal cycle of change and how something new is always being built over something old.

Underwater, red pigments appear as black due to the absence of red light (water filters out this wavelength). So a red hued creature is better camouflaged than one that is blue or green, etc.
Also, water when viewed through depth appears blue, but it's actually transparent; so selecting for blue colouration wouldn't bestow any survival advantages in the context of survival.
