Good idea, Did this for my deep cool cpu cooler and it works, I've ordered new pins but they take awhile to arrive so this will do for now.. Thanks!
Thanks for your idea. it's works perfectly.
I am from Argentina and I had the same problem. Very helpful your video, thank you.
I like the way you handle computers! :)) I think I'll use the trick on my old computer. Thank you.
I’m just putting in the screws from my old mobo + cooler into my new one, I’m ready to pinch these dumb pins off. Fortunately I just have metal brackets where the push-pins are housed, perfect shape + height to screw in. Fingers crossed!
@me fixing everything; it may work with the spare M3 spring-loaded screws you can find online. I realized I’m coming from an ITX, so I don’t have heatsink screws to take from this particular board.
I then realized I have the odd 5pin Dell connector, so I had to switch plans anyhow.
LoL! I just did this on an old 65nm CPU with DDR2 memory. Those Intel coolers where their worst design ever. I bought an entire bag of those plastic pins and their sheaths in anticipation of how bad the design was, and I still have spares even today.
I'm jealous! But good for you.
Thaxnk you so much for showing your idea😊
Good invention, barbar solution and handle, of electronics...
What's an idea really nice❤️❤️❤️
There's no need to break them, you can disassembly them easily by spining them and maybe use it in the future in case of emergency.
your super it worked for mee
Hi, nice vid. I have a similar PC, I am trying to make it better. However, I acitdentally broke off the legs for the fan, and I got scared and almoste cried lol... Can you please give me a detailed instructoin on how to do it(or a link for a new fan like the old one)

I don't remember what I did so the only thing that I can help you is the video. I think I used zipties, computer still works
@@MeFixingEverything ok, thx
Hey the plastic pins on my Intel CPU fan cooler got twisted. Should I replace the CPU fan cooler?
If you can feel any gap between the cooler and the processor.

Reading your comment, I think best choice is to go to a computer shop.
I just use gorilla glue to mount it
But youll never be able to dismount it anymore right?
Can you show a better angle??
Unfortunately not , it's all installed and working now

There's nobody I trust with hardware more than a down to earth Russian.
