    Sorry to be a bother but you did a great job on the review and it helps out a lot. Could you test out the remote on Super Mario Sunshine on an actual Gamecube? No one has tested out the controller with the pressure controls on the trigger as if it was a regular Gamecube controller. I want to make sure that it can registers spray and run and full spray on Sunshine. Thanks

      Yeah! I'll try to make a short video on it someday soon like an update video of me trying it out on some games like Super Mario Sunshine!
      Edit: I know when I try using it on Dolphin Emulator, I'm able to setup the triggers as both analog and digital like the original GameCube controller. (Sorry it's taking me a while to test that out. I promise I'll test it out soon!)

    Since it is shown as an Xbox controller I guess you cannot use the gyro and the back buttons independently, right? I bought a NGC and the adapter to use on PC but would love to get a modernized version with 2 bumpers and extra buttons. This looks super nice, but it is kind of disappointing to see that the gyro and back buttons go into waste.

      I haven't tried it yet, but I'll test it on Dolphin Emulator and see if I were to emulate a Wii Remote, whether or not it interprets gryoscopic movement. I'll update you on that with a few days.

    Have you connected it to Dolphin on PC? I can't quite figure out how to set its inputs for GameCube games.

      Yes. It should work either way, whether that be wired, wireless (adapter), or Bluetooth.

    Would it work on an Xbox?

    • @Mariojacob7red
      @Mariojacob7red  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't know. All I own is an Xbox 360 S, so I didn't have a newer one to try it on. It's always worth a try to see. 😃

    Is the dongle required to connect to the Nintendo switch?

    • @Mariojacob7red
      @Mariojacob7red  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, but I believe it should still work by plugging it into the charge port. I should've tried that on the video, but I didn't think about it.

      Sorry about the wait. I've been kind of busy and haven't had a chance yet to try it, but I'll try it out soon.

       @luminouseasportsfc Sorry it took so long. I finally tested it out and it does work by plugging in the adapter to the included, short USB cord and then plugging that cord into a female USB to male USB-C OTG (on the go) cord which will plug into the charge port.
      The Switch will show that the controller is playing in USB mode, while it is actually playing in wireless (adapter) mode.
      The same process should work for docked mode too. You just plug the short USB-C cable into the adapter and the other end of the same cord into one of the dock's USB ports.
      Let me know if what I just said is confusing, but I can confirm it work in table top mode that way.

    Thanks for the review! Also love the music background OG N64 music. Btw does the controller have an app that you can adjust or remap buttons like the nyxi chaos?

      You're welcome! Yeah. It should. It's on the Google Play Store for Android. I believe it's on the App Store for Apple too.

    They must make Retro controllers that just work with Bluetooth connection instead of a USB dongle. I want the classic N64, GC and SEGA controllers to play on my Retro Handheld with Android OS. Just let me connect these controllers with Bluetooth and I'm the happiest guy alive!

    • @Mariojacob7red
      @Mariojacob7red  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry if I gave off the wrong impression. I wanted to try every possible way to connect them to each device. From what I'm understanding from reading your comment, they do make controllers that are just bluetooth. And if I didn't exactly show it, the NYXI Warrior will connect to Androids by wired, wireless, and bluetooth. I hope this helps, but please let me know if I need to explain myself better. :)
