I would say sleep bags for ages newborn to 6 months- so easy to change diapers and allows baby to kick and wiggle; the sleep bag was a life saver when we were flying back to my parents when my youngest was 5 weeks old (emergency visit) and changing her on the plane and in an airport was so much easier with the sleep bag. I agree about not stressing over all the stuff- a portable bassinet like a Moses basket to keep baby in at home or when at church or elsewhere, a swing, a bouncy chair, a baby seat you can put in the floor or counter so baby is right next to you, a basic high chair- really, why spend $300+ on a high chair, baby gear should not match your interior design to the point of spending that much $ IMHO, 2 diaper bags because spills happen or husband needs one for his vehicle, lots of onesies, lots of swaddles (explosions anyone?), lots of burp cloths (I used thick but cheap kitchen towels, they held up better than the pretty ones), socks, hats, buy wipes by the case, I wish we had bottle warmers and wipe warmers when my kids were newborns/infants, a few cute outfits for leaving the house (I mainly kept my kids in sleep sacks or onesies and swaddled them, though my youngest hated to be swaddled so sleep sacks were her happy spot for me), either a Frieda nose sucker or a rechargeable nose sucker and basic, generic normal saline nose drops (it’s the same as they use in the hospital to clean out their noses), gripe water, infant tylenol liquid, about 5 appropriate medicine droppers (you will have them all over the house. Honestly, it’s we adults who want all the bells and whistles, babies don’t care what they have on or what stuff you bought, as long as they are warm, fed, burped and cuddled they are happy and content.
Yes, I'd really enjoy seeing a postpartum video about any and all tips and tricks you have for momma and baby! That's the time that I'm really nervous about! Thanks for sharing all of these things and for the store front links! That makes things really helpful!
I must admit when I saw your video I thought you may have had the little one but just as long as everything is going well, that's what's important. I don't have children of my own so have been interested in your pregnancy, the good and not so good. Continue to keep well and look forward to meeting your son. 🤗
My babies had silk beanie all the time we went out in spring, summer and autumn. In wintertime baby must dress warmer clothes. I am so happy that your baby will keep beanie or bonnet!❤
First time mom here! Thank you for your transparency and help with navigating what we may find useful and not! I’ve kept my registry pretty minimal and I’m always asking “is this really necessary”… there are sooo many baby gadgets out there. Many seem very unnecessary. I hate clutter too and can’t imagine my house filled with all the latest baby things. Many mamas have survived with the bare minimum for many many years 🙂 wishing you so much luck as you bring in your 5th precious one. Thanks again!
Im due with number 5 and i agree with so many of your musts and no's . We exclusively breastfeed but i do keep a bottle just in case. We do get a colaspible baby bath seat but honesty ill probably not get one this go round. We cosleep so i dont get cribs or anything. We do have a swing or boumcer to help. We use the boppy so much! We dont do pacifiers or soukd machines. We dont use the diaper genie just the trash can. If its really stinky we just put it in a grocery bag we collect for our bathroom trash can. We will have 3 summer babies and 2 winter babies. This newest is due in June. Congratulations mama!
I’m 24 weeks with my 3rd baby and first girl 👧🏼 🩷🥰 I’d love to see a postpartum advice/hack video ☺️ I like using the belly band after baby too. This was fun to watch!
Love all things cotton and I spun and knitted my own merino sheep's wool ...I am like you, I love natural fiber while holding my beautiful new babies...just feels so soothing and bonding
Thank you for sharing all your baby essentials for your sweet little boy! We just welcomed a baby girl mid-January so it’s been really encouraging to listen to what you find helpful and worth the buy! I’d love to hear about your postpartum journey (recipes, schedule, etc)!
i SO agree! i splurged on a snuggle me and never used it long enough to justify the cost. we do cloth diaper off and on throughout but again, it doesn’t work for every baby so you could get all this supplies and need to get rid of it with the next. better to start small. would love to see postpartum meals! 💗
Check out Everylife for diapers! Love their company mission & a cleaner diaper option as well! Hope you get some rest in these last days of pregnancy 💕
I just wanted to say that out of all the peers I watch on YT I honestly enjoy watching you. I cannot wait to meet your sweet little boy and see how his siblings dote over him xoxo For whenever it happens... Best of Luck for a speedy and eventless, wonderful birth. SO excited for you ALL :)
I also thought you would be back with a sweet little angel baby in your arms. You look like you have everything ready, best of luck and blessings to you. I can't wait to meet the newest member of your sweet, beautiful family!! ❤
I am 24 weeks with baby #3! I love the idea of the nursing cover that you have. I have a typical over the head one in my registry but don't really like them and wasn't sure what other options there were for the occasional times I would need it. I am going to try the one you showed!
I love your choices for new Babe only difference is choosing organic diapers brand since our baby's testing showed a high level of flame retardants. I never knew disposable diapers contains flame retardants💔, I can't wait for him to arrive !!! Prayers for you all
Love this video, it’s very timely 😊 I just found you very recently and I’m loving your content, we would be friends in real life, I’m sure of it, so many similarities! 😁 I’m ready to pop with baby #9, we must be due about the same time! I’m due with a little girl, my second girl, we have 7 boys 😂 I’m excited 💖 Can’t wait to hear about the arrival of your little boy, keep smiling, you are such a joy to watch! ☺️🩵
Ive had 3 babies and have used some of these things for some. I truly think it depends on your house and circumstances. Some things that were helpful with my third but have been useless with my first. I personally loved having it ‘all’ with my first and learning as I go.
My youngest is almost 11 and I’m 40 years old, so no more babies for me. However, I really enjoyed this video. This is such a sweet, not pretentious baby essentials video. Prayers for a safe delivery of your new little boy.
With my first baby I bought newborn size clothes and had to take them all back because my baby weighed 9lbs 8oz and was 22 1/2 inches long! My last two babies were over 11 pounds and the hospital diapers wouldn't even fit them, lol! I had brought diapers with me to the hospital thank fully! I have 11 children and it is so exciting to have a new little one! Have a lovely day! ~Angel
We use a sound machine in the bedroom and LOVE IT! I have one in my room as well. My baby sleeps in the car in the stroller, if it’s nap time he will fall asleep… me on the other hand I have to have my sound machine. lol
Where did you buy your boppy cover it’s so beautiful! Hopefully you see this and answer - what a beautiful informative video. Even for a 3rd time mama 😅🥰 Edit: found and bought it on your Amazon storefront!!! 💛💛💛
I'm pregnant with baby #4 my favorite diapers were Huggies until I discovered costco diapers! They work and feel just like huggies, but are more affordable!
We have Merino onesies in our country or just thermals for going out in the cold. Do you have those? All my kids are winter babys. I'm currently pregnant with number 3 and will have 3 all born within a month of each other. So a busy month for us.
I love seeing what more experienced mommas get for their babies.

100% agree about sound machines! All of my babies, have always slept through everything!
We are so much alike about the things that we don't use!😅

Inexpensive cloth diapers make great absorbent birth cloths too. I had one baby that had awful reflux and they worked great.
That’s a great tip! Thank you ❤
Lovely content Steph! Can you link your diaper bag? It's beautiful!
What a sweet video! Prayers for your upcoming delivery.
Thank you, Tiffany ❤
